There's this colleague of my husband who has been working without pay. He decided to seek out a space to pursue a handy job he learned. When my husband mentioned it to me, I suggested a location, even though it belongs to a large church and is close to our house. However, my husband just informed me that the church declined the guy's request because he isn't a member. Interestingly, the guy attends the same church branch near his house, but going to this particular church would cost him 500 or more on Sundays. I was about to buy an item here and though I felt it was overly priced, I didn't mind because it was exactly what I need and the proximity was in my favor. Only for the fellow to dm me next day that he has increased the price because he just got to realized that the item has doubled in price recently.
He anticipated a response to his msg but I chose to ignore him. Few days later he sent his account number for me to make payment for the amount we initial agreed but I blocked him immediately.
Let's keep it at the back of our mind that if you are selling an item that has been used, especially for years, it's wrong to set your price at the current market value. Don't be unfortunate
