Mykman1202: This information might be helpful to those who needs it.. You are required to provide your ‘shareCode’ at the port of entry as a means of identification and proof of your Visa (e-visa) to the officer. I have gone through a few previous communication on this trend and I could see that most people don’t really understand the process or maybe it’s different for foreign students or Professionals applicants. Please when you receive your e-Visa confirmation letter, go through it thoroughly and you might come across some personal unique codes.. those code are more like your ‘BRP number’ so when you are access the UKVI e-visa website and you are asked if you know your ‘BRP number or have created a UKVI account’ always answer YES to the question and where you are required to input, use those codes as your BRP number, your DOB and your phone number or email address to log in into your e-Visa personal details Page where you can create a shareCode to provide to the office at the port of entry and also to your landlord and your employer too when you get to the UK. Just like I said, it might be different to every category of applications. I work with asylum and refugee team and this is how we get into their e-Visa page since the commence of e-Visa scheme in the UK. I hope this information is helpful to most people. Don’t sell yourself short of information as you willl only delay yourself at the port of entry. Those officers will not have the time to go through this with you or wait for you to do all this when you are at the airport. Just saying…. Maybe few might help but prepare for the worst and always be ready… I still repeat, the process might be different for every application. Kind regards 🙏🙏🙏
Reason for UK: the people helping me out with the resources resides there.
Thanks for your submission
giselle237: @festyflash scary stuff. You do know that you must divorce this person if you ever were to get married again? What if you neet the love of your life next month? You do know all of this is waiting for you in front? Why go to the UK again now? Why not leave this ppl?
The application was December 2023, Got the letter January, 2024
MrSoftlife: You will have to declare this refusal you know that right?!
Just one information when was this application done? Has it been up to a year??
Since this a different class of visa, there won't be much issues regarding all this because the goal of this visa is to study in the UK and they only want to check if your intentions are real.
justwise: Luckily for you those forgeries were not spotted or mentioned by the ECO, student visa is point based system, so you focus on meeting the requirements , married or not married is not part of the requirement. Unless you are going for research program you are not allowed to bring your husband or kids.
I bet I can always ask you questions when I find somethings mind boggling.
Morealso, thanks for all you do on this forum.
Cashmadam: The form for student visa is different from that of a visit visa.
Unfortunately, you will need to continue with the lie you started. As long as you don't intend to take any dependant to the UK and you have the required funds and documents, you might scale through.
My aunt staying in the UK called me about two years back and said she has given my number to a travel agent to help me prepare documents for a visa application. He called me later and asked some questions about where I work and if I'm married. I did told him I'm single and self-employed running a very small business.
He told me to liaise with a company probably a Microfinance Bank, to speak to the manager about slotting me into a post with a reasonable salary on paper. The company will as well prepare a statement of account for me, which the embassy can actually verify if mail was sent to the company. All these were done.
In preparation for the Documents needed for the visa application, he got a marriage certificate, birth certificate of my imaginary child, CAC Business certificate ( I have this one), My passport was stamped for a country in the middle east ( to get my passport deflowered) A Landed property; all these to ascertain I have ties with my home country. Unfortunately, I was denied( I will attach the refusal letter) the visiting visa on the reason that they are not really certain of my true intention and not sure I will leave after my vacation there.
Now to present Day, I applied to some institutions, in which I have secured an unconditional offer in one of the schools, I have paid my initial deposit of tuition fee while I'm waiting for POf to mature before using it for the visa application. Honestly I'm confused as to how to go about filling it when the time comes on Maritals and the answer to if I have dependants. Won't this prompt more documents to show I'm married and also have a child.
I have access to using this company(Microfinance Bank) as a study gap evidence but I'm not sure if my CAC could do some works too as I don't have all these tax receipts of a thing, though i do pay my annual return and it's active on CAC website. Which one would you advice I use?.
I will appreciate your response
giselle237: @abubakar123olat you can do your biometrics in abuja, lagos or even ph or enugu TLS is the one who handles the biometrics- finger print and digital photo taking.. they then e-transport your documents to UKVI who assess the application and take the decision

Mr @Justwise, Good day to you, I reckon you don't like replying emails, so let me just pour it out here.
Hear my story.

That is just wrong, if your elder brother wants to contribute some money towards your education then move the whole money into your account. Putting a lien in that account shows that you don't have complete control of that money and it will not be available for your use in the UK
Does one need to send a 28-day bank statement to school before one gets the CAS.?
The school I applied to sent that in a mail. Is it like that in other schools.? My SOA matures early of August. Time no too dey
@Oggg
Oggg: It doesn’t matter… for inside the UK .. everyone uses app generated statements.. paperless… You will have so much time on your hands to be going to bank all to print statement. Home office will never tell anyone to go to bank to get statements with stamp or signature… && will never reject app generated statement Hello @haryormeedey
I have some questions to ask about a visiting refusal letter of January 2024. I will like to send to you for you to peruse and give advice as I will be applying for student visa soon
Help me to leave abeg. Na POF interest rate money and Flight money remain. I will pay you back when I start to dey work at that end. Let's talk more sir
APOPTOSIS: Not even up to ordinary $4000 😭😭😭 Thank God I left that country... What would have become of me now?
Do you reply emails? there's something I would like to relate to you.
Exousiang01: CIS in Lekki has become a nightmare. My kids attended school only monday, tuesday and friday last week. The school just sent a notification on their app saying SUVs have to use the main gate and saloon/sedans go through the Amore road entrance. Unfortunately the flood is more as a result of climate change and Lagos is sitting on the coast. Its only going to get worse. Spending millions on school fee yet the flood wont let them into school. Moving them back to the UK is might just be best for them now. Cant be getting calls everyday about flood. I no wan hear say shit happen
So, I've been trying to consume some materials so as to aid me writing a good personal statement, I wouldn't mind if you have any one you've written in time past or a template for inspiration and guidelines I can use to tailor mine.
Can we reach ourselves through other media like email ?
I guess I can't always beep you anytime I need clarity on some questions in the future.
Mindlog: Almost all the Unis in the UK offers Msc Psychology (conversion), just make sure the course page says it has British Psychological Society accreditation.
I will suggest Liverpool Hope University in Liverpool as their fees is still okay at £13,000 for the 2024/25 academic year resuming in October.
To think psychology is something I enjoy too. Thank you for your response.
And one more thing Bro, can you recommend schools with the said Msc Psychology (Conversation).
Mindlog: To have a higher chance of getting the 5 years skilled worker visa after studies, an accredited Msc Psychology (conversion) for those who don't have an undergraduate degree in psychology) will increase your chances as there is huge demand for professionals in the mental health field.....this is my field here in the UK.
What are the courses you would advice one to go for, for easy integration into the system. Though I have an engineering certificate as a first degree here in Nigeria. Enlighten me
It felt as though I was reading about myself. This is so me. Wow
folake4u: 1. People find comfort in talking to me. Lol. They usually call it "Therapy session". I'm a good listener showing necessary emotions at appropriate time, with no judgment whatsoever.
Recently, my friend sent me a message about something and my battery was about going off, I told her, she didn't mind. She sent a 10mins vn pouring her heart out. When I had not responded the next morning, she tried calling but my phone was still turned off. I eventually charged my phone and responded and we talked for 2hrs on call and she felt better eventually.
2. People find it easy trusting me with their secrets, affairs, money or properties and they'd still meet it intact.
I can't count how many times my bank app have failed me when trying to complete transactions especially cab rides. The Bolt/Uber drivers usually tell me to take my time or transfer to them later. I always jokingly ask them "What if I run away with your money?" And they always reply with "You don't have that look".
3. Another unique thing is people, unknown people always try to assist or help me. I can't count how many times agberos have helped me to look for cabs going to my destination. And they're always so warm hearted towards me.
Them many sha. But these are few points of mine...
Opiletool: He is better in my opinion. I am a fan of both, but dude has lyrical prowess spiced up with poetic elements, as well as powerful rendition. Most of Asa's lyrics are shallow (I mean you can understand them at the surface meaning and at the first listening). But for Brymo, you're gonna have to dig deep. Listen numerous times before you can get the meaning in his lyrics. The surface interpretation might not necessarily be the intended meaning, just like wole soyinka's poem. Example is billion naira dream, let us be great, dem dey go, God is in your mind etc.
Guy man, you too sabi. I was nicknamed Brymo on my street because of my love for his music.
I'm always playing it cos I've got his 6 studio albums.
