samorobo:You have issues man. Maybe check yourself into a mental hospital this weekend. All these debates seems to have affected you psychologically. |
samorobo:I watched the one for Mombasa which I found here, The guy in the Video mentioned the Nairobi video and thats how I ended up finding that one... Anyway, That's Nairobi CBD .... Which is a different area from Westlands and Uperhill.. Like this pic gives a perspective, on the extreme left is the CBD, then from the center of the pic, thats Uperhill distance in between is about 3 km (And you know, In a City 3km is a very long distance), Westlands not in the pic... Either westlands or Uperhill is bound to become the future CBD in 10 to 20 years time, it all depends who grows faster between the two districts https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7809/46280026374_0f27f821a3_h.jpg https://www.capitalfm.co.ke/business/2013/04/upper-hill-westlands-preferred-for-offices/ |
TayserMahri:The Video for when the same guy was walking in Nairobi CBD (Incase it had not been posted here b4) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8b6idRe0Ws |

When Kenyan president made an impromptu tour of Lamu, which is like 60km from Somali border. The SoF unit seen in the background is probably the one based in Manda or Kiunga Islands in Lamu.

samorobo:Nigerians Can't even do simple kindergarten maths !!!! |
samorobo: obaaderemi:Your calsulations were wrong 73/200*100 = 36.5% of the population 17/50*100 = 34% of the population So Nigeria was still behind Kenya!!! |
Stevoh18:Imagine They have a potential of generating about 12,000MW, but they only achieve to generate only 4,000MW t=fot that whole population of over 130m.. While Kenya with almost 3000MW is serving 50M.. How can the hell can they expect reliable power I wonder!!! No wonder they have the most unreliable electricity on the Continent |
9th African Air Chiefs Symposium 2019 - Held in Kenya this year
|
68816419: Acadavah:Yeah, I have seen my mistake... So the correct % for people without access to Electricity in 2016 was 36.5% in Nigeria and 34% in Kenya. Nigeria was still behind Kenya |
obaaderemi:And the fact that non of your brothers could calculate that 73m is not 15% of Nigeria's population shows a non backed education In Nigeria! |
Abohboy:Even if that's the case Nigeria ----> 73million out of 200m is 73/200*100 = 36.5% of the population Kenya -----> 17/50*100 = 34% of the population So Nigeria still leads, And this was back in 2016, Kenya had the fastest Electricity growth rates in the developing world together with Ethiopia, the rate is now over 75% on course to achieving Universal electricity access |
.. |
Problemkid1: samorobo:Perherps you guys never interpreted the map... This pic was showing the percentage of people without access to electricity. You must have mistaken and thought it was showing % of population with electricity , How could you have thought Nigeria was number 1 in Africa in access to electricity, when infact you are last ![]() https://i0.wp.com/www.brookings.edu/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Global_PopulationWithoutElectricity_Africa.png?w=768&crop=0%2C0px%2C100%2C9999px&ssl=1 So Nigeria leads Africa in % of people without electricity at 75% followed by DRC at 68% then Ethiopia at 56%...... Kenya on the other hand, only 17% don't have access to electricity!!! Get that in your head |
Abohboy:Well Nairobi is a city of only 4 million... Lagos is a city of 22 Million, you can have as many "CBD" as you want. And as for skyscrapers and high-rise, we also have multiple coming up , infact, by 2017, 25% of all the new skyscrapers that were under construction in the whole of Africa were in Nairobi.. Most of them will be topping out from 2020.... --------------------------------------------------- Due to be completed in 2020, the Pinnacle Towers complex will include Africa’s first supertall building (i.e. 300-meter/984 feet or higher), giving Nairobi two of the three tallest buildings in Africa. This is simply the tip of the iceberg: Nairobi is rapidly becoming Africa’s top city for high-rise construction. Current skyscraper construction there accounts for nearly 25% of all high-rises being built in Africa at the moment. Why? The Kenyan economy continues to show solid economic growth – the World Bank predicts 6% in 2017 – and, combined with rising land prices in Nairobi, both the means and the incentive are there to keep building – up. http://www.urban-hub.com/cities/urban-africa-stands-tall/ ----------------------------------------------------- Apart from that we also have green cities that are buing on the outskirts of various towns and cities, these cities won't have skyscrapers but they will be very modern, smart, eco friendly.. and very well planned, I will post pics of an example of one such future city bieng built at the coast of Kenya |
So I am just sitting there in the house after eating breakfast watching BBC, then its time for BBC-Hardtalk and guess who is the guest Mia Khalifa!!! now i'm stuck in a dilemma, I wanna watch but I also don't wanna hear anything bad... Luckily its wasn't a 'bad' interview. Guess what was my next google search after the interview as over (Rhetorical question) |
Problemkid1:Hahaha, Look at this pot-head calling the Kettle black!!!! Over 90Million of your countrymen don't have access to electricity , have you no shame!!! Don't give us stories of how you are going to fix your electricity by 2021, lets all rely on what we have now cause if we are going to start talking about future plans, we just brougt 310MW of wing power last month and we plan to add 3,000MW of geothermal by 2024... But I can't start counting those projects beause we all know there is a big difference between plans and reality... Has Buhari implimented all the projects he promised ? No!! So why should we believe you will solve all you power problems by 2021 Mind you, you only produce less than 4,000MW for a country of almost 200million people! In flickering text, the documentary Take Light opens with this paradox: Nigeria is Africa’s top energy producer and has one of the world’s largest gas reserves. Yet over 50% of Nigerians do not have access to electricity. And for those who do, it is rarely for more than a few hours a day.And as for floods in your CBD, Don't even go there, All your cars gets submerged in the city when ever it rains!! |
samorobo:Hinding your dirty city with irrelevant posts I see.... That screenshot you keep bringing about our electricity stats, that's for Rural electrification project, its not for Kenya electricity connection!!!! You cannot hide behind this one!!!!!! And you the one who was shouting and telling everyone to shut up or else you will bring pictures of our CBD!!!! At then you started posting fake photos of a pickup capsizing in flood water which was not of Nairobi!!!And now you seem to be running away from your sewer water flooded CBD by misdirecting the topic to something else, Even if you have multiple CBDs (Just like we have 3).. Your most important one is the one on the Island which is flooded by sewer water whenever it rains!!!! Between the fake potholes you were trying to show for Nairobi CBD and the sewer flooded CBD of yours, which one do you think is worse ![]() ?Look at this water in your CBD, Its black, thats not just rain water, thats sewer water right in your most important business center! And that car's fron't wheel seem to be stuck in a pothole https://i0.wp.com/www.pmnewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/l13.jpg?fit=2880%2C1728&ssl=1 |
samorobo:You can post all the screenshots you want about Kenya's electricity, at the end of the day, it wont change the fact that few Nigerians have access to constant electricity! and infact, you have the worst power supply system in Africa!! The only thing you lead when it comes to power is the number of generators per capita! How can a country of 190M only generate only 4,000MW of actual electricity!!!!! Ethiopia with only 90M generates waay more, Don't you have any industrial capacity/ I would have expected the "giant of Africa' to be an industrialized country like SA or Egypt that produce excess of 40,000MW.. not just depending on oil money for GDP.. And I posted plenty of pics That showed your less than Average CBD, which you denied , Unlike me who left you to go around upper-hill and Westlands with no objection because it was still technically part of the urban CBD, knowing very well that you left a big chunk of Nairobi's actual current CBD!!! Do you even have a CBD or is it just a one stretch drive where all the buildings are in one line that you can see it all in a 5 minute drive?? For much of the weekend, Lagos, Africa’s largest city, has been hit badly by heavy floods. But with the city’s drainage system mostly poorly planned and, in some places, non-existent, flooding has become a costly annual experience. The floods have been mainly seen on Lagos Island, the major business district, with paved roads and streets flooded no thanks to overflowing street gutters.https://qz.com/africa/1024504/lagos-floods-africas-largest-mega-city-has-a-major-drainage-problem/ https://cms.qz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/lagos-flood.jpg?quality=75&strip=all&w=1900&h=1070 https://i0.wp.com/www.pmnewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/l13.jpg?fit=2880%2C1728&ssl=1 |
Logobenz0:I was talking about your countrymen taking generators to the filling station instead of just showing up with a jerrycan.... I was NOT talking about how your filling stations are powered!!!! You will never witness generators being que'd up at the filling station anywhere else in Africa, this is a Nigerian only phenomenon since you have the worst power supply in Africa! |
Logobenz0:And worse still, Your petrol stations dont have fuel to power those generators , there is so much shortage that the fuel attendants don't give you fuel if you show up with a jerrycan , you have to show up with your petrol powered device for them to fill it up!!!!!!!Giant of Africa at its best ![]() https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CfMozwdVAAAtbIY.jpg |
I did'nt know Zambia and Ghana had contributed police contingents in Somalia A nice update of the preparation of AMISOM gradual withdrawal from Somalia in 2021.. Currently there are 10,000 police officers already trained against a target of 32,000. There are also road networks that need to be created for Somali security official to effectively dominate and secure its regions. The first 1:30 of the video is intro stuff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVc4YxvACew |
samorobo:Showing Some village and some refugee camp peeps starting their own power generation is not the same thing as a nation dependant on generators.. Not only do you lead Africa with the biggest % of people without access to electricity https://i0.wp.com/www.brookings.edu/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Global_PopulationWithoutElectricity_Africa.png?w=768&crop=0%2C0px%2C100%2C9999px&ssl=1 https://www.brookings.edu/blog/future-development/2018/06/08/africas-3-deadly-deficits-education-electricity-and-taxes/ But you also lead Africa in having the most monthly blackouts https://www.targetmap.com/ThumbnailsReports/36560_THUMB_IPAD.jpg Source https://www.targetmap.com/viewer.aspx?reportId=36560 |
Logobenz0:Mumu yourself, Even Somalia is better that you! Don't ever compare yourself with Somalia... Even when the rest of African murderous criminals are combined, we will still not match you

Stevoh18:Infact the only of two countries (the other one being Ethiopia) that don't depend on any mineral resources, that are in Africa's top 10 economies |
samorobo:Year, I can see, Outside of your CBD it looks real nice Is this what you get with a $90B GDP city ![]() https://static01.nyt.com/images/2014/04/25/t-magazine/25lagos-burleigh-slide-ULXL/25lagos-burleigh-slide-ULXL-superJumbo-v2.jpg Super organized https://adelove.s9mkr2m7u.maxcdn-edge.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Lagosng.jpg Here is a sample of your authentic un edited video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clgCIMluz9E I can do this all day

AU has an understanding with KDF though AMISOM that soldiers wounded in Somalia can be brought to Nairobi for treatment, Nairobi being the closest location they can be airlifted to for medical treatment. Most of them end up at the Defence hospital. Ambassador Francisco Madeira (with basket), the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia, accompanied by Lt. Gen. Tigabu Yilma Wondimhunegn, the AMISOM Force Commander and other AMISOM officials, interact with an AMISOM soldier recuperating in a hospital in Nairobi.

PetroDollax:This is a common site in Nigerian cities, They survive on generators! https://africanclimatereporters.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Nigeria-generator-economy.jpg And worse still, despite bieng the largest oil producer in Africa, The likes of Chevron, Shell,BP export all the crude oil then Nigeria has to import refined oil, They have one of the worst refined oil scarcity in Africa, And since they don't have enough electricity, The generators too end up running out of fuel its a perfect storm.. Residents queing up generators at the fuel station https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CfMozwdVAAAtbIY.jpg These are generators bieng donated to the Nigerian Police so that they can keep serving citizens in the night https://viva-naija.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/IMG_1744.jpg |
samorobo:That second video of the tourist was not of upper-hill. The guy when around random places in Nairobi, including market stalls not found in the CBD, He stayed in an air BnB not only outside the CBD but in a bad neighborhood, that's why I ignored that video. I think you tried too hard to show the mistakes in the CBD, When you first talked about bringing pictures that were going to exposed our "rotten' roads in the CBD, I thought you hard really bad pictures, but what you showed wasn't pretty yes, but it wasn't bad either. Even the one you screenshot'ed showng a 'pothole', That's not a pothole, that's a scratch.. Let me show you some real potholes in your village called Lagos Now this is a pothole!!! There is a video at the end of this article, you should watch it https://www.pulse.ng/news/local/the-potholes-in-lagos-are-not-your-mates/ed7dy8c Pic 1: Hope you saw what the buckets were bieng used for in Upperhill: They were selling freshly cut Roses ![]() Pic 2,3 : Thats your BRT buses going through some major potholes... And the pedestrians can walk in the footpath because its impassable So maybe next time don't call the kettle black when you know you are a traditional African pot.

Mia Khalifa!!! now i'm stuck in a dilemma, I wanna watch but I also don't wanna hear anything bad... Luckily its wasn't a 'bad' interview. Guess what was my next google search after the interview as over

I blame the animal that opened its legs to give birth to a foolish goat like you
