Politics › Gen. Abdusalami, Danjuma, IBB, Silent As Buhari Destroys Nigeria. by FieldMarshall06(op): 9:39am On May 24, 2023 |
Where are the elder statesmen and leaders of Nigeria.
Where are Gens. Abdusalami Abubakar; T.Y Danjuma, Domkat Bali, IBB ; etc.
Where are these men? What are they doing?
Are they going to sit there and watch Buhari damage Nigeria's Honour and Integrity?? Why are they silent allowing Buhari to further destroy the nation.
What are these Generals scared of?? At their age and status as national leaders, they should be at the front Stopping Buhari from damaging the nation. But they are silent. What are they afraid of?? What??
I told colleagues that Gen. Obj is the only great Nigerian of the last generations. And I stand by that position. Even young #Obidients are at war; yet leaders & statesmen are quiet. Only Obj is at the front battling Niger's Buhari. May God bless OBJ. May Buhari's soul rot in hell fire.
Notice I didn't mention Gen. Yakubu Gowon; he is a perpetual i.diot. A permanent idiotic slave. Gowon is never useful in taking a stand on National issues. Trust me, Gowon would be the first to shake Buhari for destroying the nation.
But for other Generals and leaders, it is time to stop Niger's Buhari from ruining what is left of Nigeria. It's time to ACT to stop the destruction of our father land. God bless Nigeria. |

kk2027: Obi actually won the election, lets be honest
He won SE and SS hands down, he won NC, he won Lagos with about 1million votes, he won Abuja, he won Plateau with over 1 million votes, he won in many areas of Bauchi and other northern states. Most of his northern votes were completely robbed.
If APC knew they have done so well, why didnt they allow a free and fair election so Nigerians can re-elect them
Remind me why the results were not transmitted electronically again
In the middle of bvas, we relapsed to the old way rigging
Tell emilokan to rule naija no be force
Tinubu that lost woefully in Osun or Lagos was miraculously winning in opponents strongholds, no be juju? Correct |

9gerian: It might be better to pursue a legal redress in court, channeling the anger to build a water tight case.
The alienation of Buhari led to a full blown insurgency in the southeast eventually. That insurgency has cost the southeast innocent lives and untold hardship, and became too difficult to reign in.
Doing same with Tinubu would dampen and frustrate whatever initiatives the president-elect may have for the southeast, and is likely to cause more setbacks to the region. This would only further alienate other parts of Nigeria against the southeast, thereby shutting the door to future collaborations to wrest power from the current handlers and beneficiaries. The North and other regions are watching and would easily take sides accordingly, especially because they (North) are the votes-and-spread-deciding block in Nigeria.
Above all, it is definitely your (southeast) call. However, it is always better to be subtle and project well ahead in strategy. Thankfully, Tinubu doesn’t come across as being vindictive with his leadership style, hence the southeast can benefit from his government and still go for a legal pursuit, which is more favorable to the southeast course than an outright affront or confrontation to a constituted government. nice one |

Politics › Obidients, Nigerians - Bola Tinubu Is Not Our President. by FieldMarshall06(op): 9:50am On Mar 02, 2023 |
I am OBIdient and I remain OBIdient. I stand solidly on the mandate of the people; the mandate given by the majority of Nigerians; the mandate entrusted to Peter Obi to lead Nigeria as its President. On that mandate I stand and remain firmly. Neither corruption nor electoral fraud would shaken my stand.
As for Tinubu, I don't know him. He hasn't got my mandate, he hasn't got the peoples' mandate, he is an electoral thief. And I would NEVER be led by a thief. No way.
I Do NOT accept his authority as President and I would never be led by a man whose whole life is criminal and tainted. Good luck to INEC and good luck to the stupid governors who rigged and imposed a criminal on the Nigerian people. As for me, I satisfy myself that Tinubu is not and would never be my president.
Peter Obi is my president and on his mandate I stand. Call me whatever you like, I would never answer SIR to a criminal. Never. I would rather japa than salute a rogue.
OBIdients, be strong. Peter Obi would recover his mandate. And Nigerians would smile. |
Politics › Re: Non of the Candidates Has Met The Requirements To Be Declared Winner by FieldMarshall06(m): 3:12am On Mar 01, 2023 |
LocalStandard1: I don't know if the post about Falana saying 25% in the FCT is not requirement is true but if it is then someone needs to go back to school real fast and immediately.
The law says a candidate will be said to win "if they get 25 percent in two third of the States and the FCT.
"two third of 36 is equivalent to 24 states." But the FCT is mandatory cause it is not a State, it was never a State but a federal government territory. The and word is not an optional word but a mandatory additional "conjunction"(note the keyword). "Father and Mother, not Father or mother.
Nobody says "37 States" but "36 States and the FCT"!
If the law says something most happen in all 36 States and the FCT, it simply means the FCT is mandatory, not an option. Same as 24 states and the FCT. If I say "bring me 24 apples and the green one", you do not bring 30 apples and say the extra numbers substitute the green one. You don't! This is law, it's also simple English. And English and the law doesn't bend over night to suit one person, I think.
The real question is who goes to run-off now that all the candidates have fallen short of the lawful requirements, yet all three have still met two of three requirements? |

Firstorderwizard: I personally consulted my uncle (a retired judge in his 80's) on the interpretation of the constitution. Mind you He is a member of the 1997/98 constitutional conference that drafted the 1999 constitution. He said that the FCT 25% clause was added because the President is like the FCT "governor" who now appoints a Minister to run the territory for him. Therefore, for the President to be the Legitimate head of the FCT, He must have 25% approval of the people in FCT. Thank God oo |
