The fact that he isn't in a designated prison by the courts has defeated the aim of the sentence

House arrest is a thing. Prison shouldn’t involve suffering. The main aim is supposed to be rehabilitation. People just love the idea of offenders suffering for their sins hence harsh punishments are dished out on inmates. The courts should’ve ensured routine checkups were made to avoid this sort of story.
