2018 my worst Christmas. But since then it keep getting better.

Actually I bought a reasonable one for 15k. I also bought beef and catfish to support it.

How much did you bought chicken this Christmas?

. It is something that the community has been benefiting from the foundation every year. It’s unfortunate that this year’s edition turned out to be like this due to impatience.

This is a statement the policy of this administration is to kill Nigerians. What other evidence do you need? All the ones that happened in Ibadan and Abuja is something theu have been doing every year too. But this year happened like this.

The subsidy fraud just had to go, when FG was paying subsidy and dictating price of fuel, BUA could not enter the market, no reasonable investor would enter a market where govt dictates the prices. Many investors got license but couldn't put their money down. Now, things are changing, competition is dictating prices, more modular refineries are expected next year.
In the forex market, there was a big scam. Central bank sold dollars officially at 450 but people resell it at $800 in the black market. Yet FG was borrowing heavily to continue paying.

Wailers only think about the present and their empty stomach, they are not bothered about the future. I don't take wailers serious.

.. i had no problem with the naira unification. But you see that subsidy removal it was a wrong approach. Its was what thrown the local market upside down. People could no longer manage with basic life.

North problem is over religion. They need to promote education and reduce religion. Any country that’s too religious suffers in extreme poverty.

.for an average poor family to cook Christmas stew and soup it would cross 60-90k. Never in the history of Nigeria it has gotten to this level.

Other expenses never even de oh. This year happens to be the most expensive Christmas of all Christmas.

25k was the price for goat few years ago.

Even catfish price nor be here. I was even thinking to kill, deep fried catfish inside dried thick red stew. For soup i will buy thick Pomo and beef.

The price of energy like fuel shouldn’t be allow to fluctuate because it was controlled the economy. There was a reason for government intervention like subsidy. Just look at what the economy has turn into. This government doesn’t understand the basics of economy and reasons we are having it this bad. They should be shown exit door

I noticed that even people who don’t fancy rice end up cooking rice every xmas?

If they cook pounded yam which is their favorite they still end up cooking rice just to get along.

The same thing with killing animal. Someone even told if you buy beef/goat meat or freezy chicken and end up not killing animal you haven’t do xmas. It better to kill small chicken and than to buy more expensive beef or goat meat if you can’t buy them whole.

Nigerians didn't criticize the cashless policy. I wander why you guys just love lying. Cashless policy was started by Sanusi, it's a step by step process. Only Emefiele can explain why he has rush the process that will take years to accomplish. Even the banks were not ready for the step Emefiele took.

Can you point to one financial institution around the world who supported the move? It was a very stupid move. When any currency lost value in turn it means thry need to print more money or introduce higher denominations to counter the short fall.

Things that use to sell for 1m before this government came on board is now about 5m so any thinking person should know currency scarcity is inevitable.

Everyone has turned to POS operator. As long as the number of POS operators keep increasing there will always be Naira scarcity.
Businesses are no more taking their cash to bank for deposit instead they sale it to POS operators.
It’s time banks need to think how to attract business depositors back their counters.

na when fuel done cost? Who will go to bank to deposit when they can give the same to pos operators? To get cash as pos operator is not easy as you think. They offer some money to enticed people to sell for them.

Next year inflation will soar higher as there is absolutely nothing on ground to curb the inflation. Better be calming down and think critically. If you enter market recently you will know say 500k nor be money again. 500k is just like 50k during Jonathan time.

For average low class families to cook xmas stew with chicken and support with beef it would likely cross 50k -60k. Just to tell you are bad everything is.

Just imagine all rhe labor Nigerians suffer to save in their account m. Tinubu just came in and useless the money within a very short time.

Inflation should be gradual and not what we are seeing today.

Keeping money in stable foreign currency is still the best option.
