A secondary school girl of City Comprehensive Secondary School Ogidi has been killed in a car accident while on her way to school.

The tragic incident happened at Opposite Winners Chapel Church Onitsha-Awka road around St. Philip Anglican Church Ogidi axis.

There is chaos in Anambra state now with most secondary and primary schools in the state shutting down on Wednesday morning after unconfirmed report of unknown gunmen kill school children with injections.

Onitsha, Nnewi, Ojoto, Oba, Awka, Ichi and other major metropolis in the state are in trouble with many parents rushing to various school to take their kids.

Most schools in the major towns and cities are closing down over the unconfirmed rumor of students being injected with the new virus (Monkey pox) at a gun point.

According to report from a primary school Head mistress in Ozubulu:

" Some medical staffs came with some Army men to school to immunize pupils. After giving them injections, the pupils fell down and started vomiting blood.

"So we had to send the kids home and close school"

Police in the Indian capital Delhi have arrested five people after a video circulated showing what appears to be a mob severely beating a Nigerian man mercilessly.

They have also detained the Nigerian, whom some residents accused of theft.

The video shows four or five men using sticks to beat a man of African appearance who has been tied to a post.

There was a spate of attacks on African nationals living in India last year, including one in which a Congolese man was beaten to death in Delhi.

Police said the latest incident happened on 24 September, and the Nigerian victim was also arrested due to a theft allegation.

A resident of the Savitri Nagar neighbourhood claimed the man broke into his house and tried to steal valuables from his room, police said.

“It is a case of attempted burglary. Those living in the house got alerted. They caught him and beat him up,” Dependra Pathak, chief spokesperson of the Delhi Police told the Press Trust of India news agency.

In March, five Nigerian students were attacked by crowds, while another was beaten by a mob inside a shopping mall living in Noida, near Delhi.

Six months ago, African ambassadors in India criticised the government for not doing enough to stop a string of alleged racist attacks on Africans in Delhi.

Chris Foerster, The coach of American football club, Miami Dolphins has resigned after a video surfaced of him snorting white substance suspected of Cocaine before a meeting.

The video first surfaced on Facebook on monday morning before going viral after being posted on Reddit.

“I am resigning from my position with the Miami Dolphins and accept full responsibility for my actions,” Foerster said

in a statement. “I want to apologize to the organization and my sole focus is on getting the help that I need with the support of my family and medical professionals.”

However, it is clear Foerster was working with an NFL team at the time of the video.

He makes multiple references to going to a meeting before and after snorting the white powder, which has not been identified but appears to be some sort of a drug.

“It’ll be a while before we can do this again. Because I know you have to keep that baby,” Foerster says. “But I think about you when I do it. I think about how much I miss you. How high we got together. How much fun it was.”

The Dolphins said they were made aware of the video Sunday.

“We were made aware of the video late last night and have no tolerance for this behavior,” the team said in a statement.

“After speaking with Chris this morning, he accepted full responsibility and we accepted his resignation effective immediately. Although Chris is no longer with the organization, we will work with him to get the help he needs during this time.”

Foerster joined the club in 2016 under head coach Adam Gase.

A video has emerged online showing a Nigerian man been beaten by Indians in Delhi for allegedly trying to rob a House in Malviya Nagar in Southern part of Delhi India.

According to sources, the incident happened two weeks ago, the suspected thief was caught in the early hours of September 24 inside the house of a resident in an area populated by African Students.

In the video, the Nigerian is seen with his feet tied to a lamp post, begging for mercy as his attackers keep hitting him with sticks. Voices in the background can be heard egging on the mob and saying: “Get red chilly. Beat him harder…”

“Forgive me!” the out, his hands folded, but it doesn’t move his attackers, who keep slapping him and demanding to know whether he has any hidden money.

After the brutal assault, he was arrested and jailed but by the time he was handed over to the police later that day, he was badly wounded and barely conscious.

People in the neighbourhood allegedly told the police that he was hurt when he fell down the stairs while trying to escape.

According NDTV, the police said action would be taken against the attackers after the video surfaced.


In one clip, he is upright, tied to a lamp post and in his underwear.
He was taken to the police in that state, with injuries to his head, face, limbs and back. The police say after he was treated in a hospital, he was produced before a judge who sent him to jail.

But no one knew until the video emerged that he had been assaulted.The police say action will be taken against the attackers based on the video.

Some unknown gunmen invaded a compound and shot the landlord and his friend dead.

The incident which took place on the 4th of October at no. 23 Mgbuoshimini community, Agip Mile 4, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State has left two people dead, The landlord popularly called Koko and his friend Dickson while some got injured from the machete cuts and also from stray bullets while escaping from the men of underworld.

According to one the deceased tenant who shared the story wrote:

“It was even by the grace of God that so many of us escaped that night because so many people were injured, some with machete cut, while others were hit by spray bullets but I thank God because i’m alive today not because i’m perfect but because my mission is yet to be accomplished. Pupils of LEA Nursery and Primary School Kastina-Ala Local Government area of Benue State are protesting over their teachers strike which is caused by unpaid salary.

The Joint State Executive Council of the Benue State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress has directed workers in the state to begin an indefinite strike as from Tuesday (today).

The directive is contained in the communiqué signed by Joint State Executive Council of the state chapters of the NLC and TUC in Makurdi.

The communiqué jointly signed by Godwin Anya, Philip Nongu and Ordue Tanterger, the state chairmen of NLC, JPNC and TUC respectively, partly read, “SEC resolved to embark on total, comprehensive and indefinite strike with effect from Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 to press home its demand of seven months salary arrears for state workers, March to September, 2017, 11 months’ salary arrears for teachers and local governments’ workers, November 2016 to September 2017 and 13 months’ arrears of pensions and gratuities for state and 14 months for local governments’ workers.”

The labour leaders in the communiqué noted that the indefinite strike was necessitated by the inability of the state government to meet their demands after the seven-day warning strike.

A young National Youth Service Corp, NYSC member, Benjamin David who has come out to narrate how Mobile Policemen in Owerri brutalized him for refusing to give them 100 Naira bribe in Owerri, Imo State Capital.

“The 15th day of September 2017 is a day I wish had not come. This is the day I experienced the brutality of the Nigerian police.

On that fateful day I was driving to Uyo to collect my certificate, when I got to control post Owerri around 11pm I heard there was a curfew at Aba and I decided to pass the night there. The place was busy with commercial activities going on. I packed the same way I say other vehicles, tricycles and lorries were packed.

“After 10 minutes a mobile policeman came and bang on my side glass and I wound down. He demanded for 100naira security Levy and I don’t have any money on me so I told him I have exhausted all my money on fuel and am a Corper, I told him where I am going to and why I decided to spend the night there.

“I showed him my identification card but he insisted I must pay for the Levy else he deflate my tyres. When he started deflating the rear tyre and I pleaded with him to let me move away the bus from there, he refused and continued to deflate the tyre. I went into the bus to move it away but he pulled me back and started hitting me with his gun.

“Two of his colleagues joined him in the process with stick and guns hitting me all over my body until other drivers intervened. I sustained open injury on my right eye and bruises on my shoulder, chest and back as a result of the attack.

“I went to mobile base Owerri to lodge complain but when I told them it was about police brutality, I was referred to another police station close to the state police headquarters. I went there and I was told to forget about the case but if I insist I should go to new Owerri police station.

“When I got there I lodged my complain and I was asked if I wanted to make case with the Nigeria police. I told them I only came to tell them what policemen did to me and not to make case with them. I was told to go and come back in the morning.

“When I came back in the morning I was told that the human right activist that will handle my case is not around. "
