Street protest is senseless. Going on strike for subsidy removal is meaningless. I will not advise a reasonable person to join the protest.
I expect the selfish Labour Executive to fight Federal Gov
1. to increase minimum wages to 75k per month.
2.  To ensure the fuel price is same all over the nation. If it is 135, it must be same all over.
3. To let all state Gov subsidize the transportation by supplying public with buses at affordable fare.
4. To remove taxes for now until the economy is stable.
I think this my suggestion is sensible. No to protest. In the course of protest, many may lost their lives. Who knows who?
Beleive it, there is hope for Nigeria

And you think this your advise will be implemented without a big fight from the masses or the labour. The truth is no matter what there must be a protest. for government to do anything in the country for the masses there must always be a fight and resistance. so it is not that easy my dear.

The evidence was not elaborate, so how on earth did the FA come to that decision? If it was a racist row, surely Evra must have said something, or did he keep mute while Suarez abused him? The English FA is becoming majorly irresponsible. An 8 match ban for some unclear accusation is just over the top! I hope John Terry and other English players get the same treatment for racial abuse.

English FA are not bunch of fools like Nigeria's FA. They don't convict players without evidence. There is always a chance for appeal and the 8 match ban can not take effect until the appeal is completed. I am a die hard Liverpool Fan but I do not tolerate racial comments in Sports. His Ban will Hurt Liverpool but it is good for football and sport in General. He simply called  the guy "N.I.g.g.a" and he admitted it .what other evidence do you want?

The United States government does NOT recognize man-lover marriage. They are not asking Nigeria or Nigerians to legalize man-lover marriage. They are only against criminalizing h'omosexuality.
Why then does EVERY government spokesman who responds come out to speak only about man-lover marriage? Why do they insist on proclaiming that the US is hell bent on institutionalizing man-lover marriage in Nigeria which is not even legalized in most areas of the US?

of course there are certain aspect of your social life that need control and the constitution ensures that. If you like to booze till you die and then sit behind the wheels, the government will punish you for that if caught. If you like to administer alcohol to teenagers just so you can sleep with them, the government of course will control you. There is no such thing as absolute freedom to do what you like.

These things you mentioned affect a third party. Drink and drive could lead to you killing someone and luring innocent girls is totally unacceptable. These are not what social life is all about.

Do you know these guys have the highest infection rate of HIV and AIDs. The hom'osexual life style is an unhealthy one, the a'nus is not meant for penetration, every time a fellow man penetrates the anus of another man he increases the chances of bruising the thin wall lining in the anus which unlike that of a woman's v'agina-which is doublw walled thick- that of the a'nus isd one wall thick and can easily worn out, leaving the person easily exposed to HIV and AIDS. I have read many comments on nairaland justiying the enactment of the anti-g*ay Law. everybody is against them.I don't like the act also because it reduces our moral value but samething goes with Adultery and Fornication. " I am very happy that we do not have any Law that supports Gay in this country BUT why do we have to enact Law to ban them?Is that necessary? The Law makers are there to make law that will be in the interest of the nation( to protect lives and properties) but I do not see how the law is in the interest of the nation. first of all, Adultery and Fornication have been around as long as homosexuality has.There was no legislative law that was made to combat these moral decadence just because most people do it.Homos are minorities should we now maginalised just  because they are few? These two subtances are responsible for thousands of Nigerian citizen's death on a monthly basis.Why are there no Law to combat these two killers? of course your guess is good as mine it's because government get taxes on these two and a lot of government officials and even the citizens enjoy these.Age limit was introduced in buying of these two killer subtances so, they mean you can start to die at a certain age.Homosexuality does not cause death but no age limit could be introduced.
