This is a lovely master piece, I must say. Most builders and designers have not come to terms with robust rectangular column for frontal design like you have constantly depict in your design; which most times are more beautiful that the conventional Greek circular columns for frontal design. Your is indeed a master piece. [color=#000099][/color]

Thank you very much sir. Every Architect has his or her own signature. I'm a fan of rectangular columns and I also use the Inonic and Doric columns where necessary. There's and aproach called eclecticism (where you try to merge elements from previous architecture with the recent ones). This approach is really nice when utilized well. Now you have to pay for this lecture grin

This is a Primary School we did for a Church in Anambra State.

This also came through a Nairalander.

Features:
11 Classroom Blocks (each having a teachers cubicle behind).
Toilet facilities for male and female pupils.
Library.
Teachers' Pool Room.
Head Mistress Office.

True... funny enough I was of the opinion that it should be scrapped but nwanne, during the service year I realised what the NYSC was really about. It's quite an experience to behold.

nextstep:
Once again, nice designs. Would it be possible to adapt this design for an interesting project:

- 8 rooms student hostel (4 up/down or 6up 2down), each room ensuite shower toilet
- upstairs study lounge
- downstairs sitting room, kitchen, guest toilet
- passive cooling as much as possible (so high ceilings, open areas), see the "haven homes" design for space choice
- 100% solar (no gen, no mains. we'll be installing panels, LED lamps, DC fans, and USB outlets instead of AC)
- roof must be flat: we're planning to plant shrubbery up there to keep house cool, and a fan to draw out hot air
- minimalist design
