The mother of a toddler who is obsessed with a red-eyed terrifying doll has said that her daughter’s toy makes children twice her age cry.

Briar Beard, aged 3, has been obsessed with toy doll ‘Creepy Chloe’ since her mum Brittany purchased the doll from a Halloween pop-up shop last month.

Brittany says that her daughter won’t leave the house without the doll, which terrifies other children.

The toys' eyes glow bright red and it makes gentle giggling sound and demonic evil laugh when a trigger button is pressed.

Her mum says Chloe is Briar's greatest comfort and she takes the doll to bed with her every night.

Brittany, 33, says people give her strange looks when they see her daughter carrying the doll, and other children are frightened of the toddler’s toy when they walk past.

Brittany, from Orlando, Florida, said to Mirror UK: ‘Spirit Halloween were in our neighbourhood and we always go there to get our supplies for the holiday season.

‘When we were in the store, Briar fell in love with this doll and she begged me to buy it for her.

‘At the same time, my eight-year-old daughter, Belle, was crying because she was terrified of it.

‘My husband had to distract Belle while I bought Briar the doll because she was freaking out so much.

‘She named the doll Chloe and now we refer to it as Creepy Chloe – for obvious reasons!

‘I shared photos of Briar with the doll on Facebook and my post went viral – no one could believe that she wasn’t frightened by it.

‘Briar treats the Chloe like any normal doll, dressing it in princess dresses and pushing it in a buggy when we go out shopping.

‘Some people stop and stare and other kids give the doll a really wide birth – I feel like I have to stop and explain to everyone why she has it.

‘But the truth is, I’m just as confused as anyone, because I love the fun, cute side of Halloween – I don’t know where she gets it from!’

Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky has been involved in a car accident, his spokesman has revealed.

A passenger car collided with the presidential vehicle and his escort in the capital Kyiv, Spokesman Sergii Nykyforov said in a short statement.

"The president was examined by a doctor, no serious injuries were found," he said.

The driver of the car that collided with the motorcade was treated at the scene and driven away in an ambulance and the accident is being investigated by law enforcement officers.

The accident comes after President Zelensky, 44, visited the recaptured city of Izyum, a key logistics hub in north-eastern Ukraine, on Wednesday September 14.

He thanked troops who took part in a swift counter-attack against Russian occupiers, and oversaw a flag-raising ceremony.

Jeffrey Guterman, a retired American mental health counsellor and a staunch supporter of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has lambasted the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign council, Festus Keyamo, over a social media post.

The American psychologist had earlier, in a tweet on his verified handle, appealed for donations from his followers to tackle his alleged financial crisis.

His tweet reads, “If you appreciate my Twitter account, please consider making a donation, even a small one: I am using donations for my severe financial problems. Thank you”.

Reacting to the tweet, the APC campaign spokesman said the move by Guterman may be unconnected to the 2023 general elections, saying the Obi supporter has an “interest in our internal affairs.”

He wrote, “My friend @JeffreyGuterman, you should have said this from the word go that you needed financial help, hence your interest in our internal affairs to attract some patronage from supporters here.

“I am sorry to hear about your financial needs and I wish you well. Goodluck.”

But Guterman tackled Keyamo via a fresh tweet, saying the reply to his tweets helped to solve his financial problems.

Asking Keyamo to stop calling him friend, Guterman said the reply to his tweet is helping allow him to “live rent-free in your empty head.”

According to him, “I am not your friend, Mr. Mugu @fkeyamo. But please continue replying to my tweets. You are helping me immensely with my financial problems by allowing me to live rent free in your empty head”.

DAILY POST reports that there have been allegations that Guterman and some other foreigners are raising funds for Peter Obi’s campaign.

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is trending online over an alleged abortion carried out by a student in a toilet in the institution.

Local publications reported that a group of students discovered an aborted foetus discharged into the water closet.

The foetus didn't move down the toilet after being flushed. As a result, it was discovered by some students when they wanted to use the facility at Unity Hall of KNUST.
