Somebody had to say it... Our winger should learn how to shoot, and shoot well. I can remember the counterattack option that we had at some point in the game that saw Dembele open enough to take on one defender and could have shot it but wanted to cross to Aubamayeng that further led to a goal kick... The next time that happened, it was still the same tactics... This has to change.


Dembele has shown that he's a world-beater but he needs to up his game from passes and crosses and start shooting to score. Agreed, he's been notorious for killing birds with his shots but I think there are other clinical ways to take a shot or should I strike a ball, than just ballooning it...

It's simple. We need steel and runners in our midfield to compliment Pedri. Pedri isn't yet on the level of Xavi and Iniesta who can retain possession at long intervals and weary the opposition.

Our midfield play needs runners in the mode of Mascherano or prime Kante. This will curtail any counter attack the opposition embarks on after being under pressure of defending.

If we don't buy steel, and keep playing flair, we'll keep getting whipped by strong and fast midfielders.

There's a reason Madrid keeps playing Valverde to compliment the flair of Modric. Kross is now as slow as snail, so Valverde runs everywhere to cover his lapses.

The only running midfielder we have is Gavi but the young lad is still green. Even Jong isn't too much of a runner but has the capacity to break presses.
