My point; I have been seeing the possibility of Eric being a midfielder and the fact that we still have Busquets around right now or short in the defense might just be the only reason he is playing as a defender.


In the long run, I feel the traditional 433 with a standing DM would be the perfect fit for the young man, leaving Jong Pedri, Gavi, or Kessie, higher up!!

What they don't understand is; the core of Xavi's tactics is somehow dependent on Ferran getting into space from long balls from the back, forcing the defenders to the left and leaving Dembele isolated, and then quick transitions back to Dembele where a cross can come in.
