Kilishihunter: Just as i suspected, Ansu is being gradually pushed indirectly to the CF role and this one that toress is both liked and looks undroppable on the wings by both Enrique and Xavi, It might just become a real possibility Fati no go fit just stay for 9.. The boy loves to have the ball and of course, he still has every natural instincts of a deadly striker. I am guessing that Barcelona would have to work with having a natural 10, who'd double up as a forward and an attacking, wide midfielder ( which we know is not our style but Messi did it). |

Don't compare that with Ferran who was being spoon fed at City. Okay. Thanks for the enlightenment |

TrebleChamp: Maybe Rooney is truly jealous of Ronaldo. After all they were both in the team when Ronaldo Ballon D'or, and became the first and only player ever to win Fifa World Footballer of the Year in England. Lol. So Messi doesn't have teammates that should be jealous of hom to warrant this type of statement abi? In fact, Messi had teammates that would have easily won the Ballon D'or easily if he wasn't playing in the same team. Xavi and Iniesta should have easily been winners too, but you'll never see them talk about Messi to make him second to Ronaldo. But Rooney saw the light and admitted to it. It's not jealousy, but simply not buying a lie. Shay you get it now? |

GuiseppeO: I’m not asking Xavi to outrightly start Fati, obviously he has to be slowly eased into the team. My problem is Ferran who’s occupying the LW position, can’t beat a player, can’t put in a cross. Yesterday I saw Jordi Alba ignoring him most times because he knows if he gives him, he’d want to return the ball to him or to the already choked midfield....The Frankfurt right back had acres of space behind him, dude’s always running into him or turning back to pass....but he’d score 1 in 10 chances and we’re okay. Adama is useless but he attempts to beat his man and put in a cross or whatever he does that’s basically what wingers are expected to do. C'mon bro. Ferran had quite a lovely take on earlier in the match, and he's been doing that quite consistently. He might not have the Fati kind of capacity to take on players but he does know how to beat his man if there's need to... The same thing D.Villa used to do. |

Xavi should try resting one of Pedri or Busquets in our next match. He might bring them in later on in the match but they need rest abeg, especially Pedri. Let's not yet the same mistake Koeman did last season playing that boy in and on. |

Kilishihunter: I just need him to bulk up to match his agression, Being on the bench really did a good one on the lad, Man was just covering up lenglet's frequent lapses throughout, Araujo too was a goddamn rock at the RB position Araujo is a central defender and let's not kid ourselves, he'll remain one but can not be continually trusted to man that RB position. We need a modern right-back that can be offensive and not see his passing lines always cut off when he has the ball at his feet, cos that was exactly what happened yesterday. It's one of the many reasons why I don't blame Adama despite the latter playing a awful game of one direction. But let's be fair, Araujo from that end didn't help matters at all. Dembele was more effective because he helped in the defense as an AWB, in a more technical way than physical as Adama did. The way I am looking at it, Dest would rather be trusted to replace Alba whilst we get a new RB. |

Bimmarlykay: When you will realize is when we play a high profile team(City,Liverpool,Chelsea,PSG,Bayern) where its is hard to create chances and score, chances must be used effectively then Ferran will miss a clear cut chance and cost us ,you will know what am saying i don't hate Ferran,he has potential and i like the fact that he always steps up to steal the ball but he shoud be more disciplined plus i still stand by my word Ferran should perfect his shooting and dribbling then you will see him along side Mbappe. And what chances did he lose yesterday? |

lusid: what exactly does fati as a player bring to the table? Elucidate his Strengths and weaknesses This seems sarcastic to me but I'll answer anyway. STRENGTHS He's a goal scorer... A deadly one at that and can score from anywhere. His first touch is great and can link up to create spaces that can be exploited by his teammates. Positioning as that of a natural 9 with driving instincts to access every part of the opposition box. Complete take-ons reasonably and always forward toward goals, Messi-esq manner than Neymar. WEAKNESS Injury. |

GuiseppeO: Dude can’t beat a pregnant woman...I’m just waiting for Fati to be fully fit and we’ll see who Xavi will start...this donkey is useless in the LW Fati will never play a full-time match for us this season yet. And if there's anyone that should be scared of getting displaced, it should be Aubamayeng with his awful first touch and passing. Ferran is never going to struggle to get into this team so long as he's fit. Some of us can already see that he's pivotal to Xavi's style of football. |

abduleez1: Some developments that Xavi needs to reimplement very soon: I'm a very huge proponent of benching players for a stretch of games make them get sense. It has worked wonders for Frenkie De Jong, Garcia is now more serious and in beast mode (loved his decisiveness yesterday), Lenglet has improved significantly.
Players who can benefit from this system: ↓↓ Send Nico Gonzalez back to team B for two weeks for realignment. That guy and him stupidity dey vex person. He's worse than Gavi in holding possession way too much. Hold ball all the time only to loose it to the opposition. Gavi needs to be benched for two weeks also although getting few minutes from the 75th minute. Him head need to correct small. It seems the too much praise is slowly getting into his head. Adama should continue chopping his bench. He lacks seriousness.
I was very happy with Xavi first eleven yesterday but the childish football from Gavi and one trick pony Lord Adama turned our joy sour. Nico will so have to fight for his place in this Barcelona team, and with the arrival of Kessie in the summer, then things might just get really complicated since Busquets is still proving to be valuable. Then Adama... Honestly, I still have a soft spot for the guy even with his one-way dynamic. Can't he just work on himself and get to the point where he doesn't have to always cross? C'mon, any tactical coach will starve him of the ball and it'd even be easier to mark him out since they already know where he'd end. Gavi is still young and right now, I don't expect him as a starter but his bullying skills are what we need when we need to completely dictate the tempo of the game. In a game like yesterday's when they were one man down, Gavi would have come in handy, with Pedri rested but then, we might not even have equalized if he wasn't taken off. Pedri and Busi appear to be quite tired and it's understandable because the intensity of the matches to be played and traveling isn't favorable. Then Jong... I don't know how this guy always breaks opposition pressing with his positioning and ball-plays. Notice that Busquets seem to always be a better player whenever he's playing alongside him because he knows he'd only need to apply a few technicalities and experience to dictate the tempo. Even Pedri thrives forward as an attacking midfielder and can combine well to further press from the front. Then talk about Ferran.... Well, it's no longer news that I am his biggest fan here. Excellent in drawing defenders out of position and shadowing off to cause havoc. Every opposition knows we play from his wing more to isolate Dembele on the right and eventually transfer back to the right where he(ferran) can now steal into the box into the right position even if doesn't convert all. That's why we've had most of our goals coming from the right. Garcia is becoming reasonably fierce, and of course no longer the timid player we signed from the bench. His ball playing capacity from the back is still unmatchable, and only closed down by Pique. In years to come, we can expect to see another Pique... Underrated, yet a generational, talent-filed defender. |

And Ferran, I have said it before and said it again... Whoever mans that no.9 position in Barca should be ready to battle it with Ferran and Fati, even if that individual is Haaland or even Messi sef. Cos in no time, we'll see this guy firing well since his positioning is already world-class.
Boy steals from behind like a shadow and before you know it, he's already from the wings to the center, something none of our fit forwards have. |
