Chances will always come for both teams. However, we saw an improved play from Barcelona in the 2nd half. I'm sure Xavi must have noted the flaws in the 1st half and talked to the boys during the break.

It can only get better from here.

This is what I noticed, there was a drop in possession in the second half. Xavi must have noticed that final third passes from the youngsters was not getting to the right places and opted to go for long balls.

Then, Dembele presence kinda kept them from playing highline unless he dropped back which saw Ter Stegen be able to throw that pass that gave Depay his goal.

Lastly, we regained possession when Coutinho came in as we tested that we had two capable dribblers in the wings and Gavi gave him the pass at the right time to cause a foul from the opposition.

This is why u said it the other time that he belongs to the flanks. Playing as a 9 is not for him. He needs to run and dribble as he waiting im the box is definitely not for him. But if he's subjected to running, he'd feel more responsibility and eventually if he flops, then he's a fraud.

Right from the days of Valdes, our keepers spray high passes as goal kick. It was a custom not to blast the ball to wherever.

Well, the team is dead.

Dead to an extent.. Koeman should have been booted out since but Messi keeps saving his ass. But it's not bad that we have someone who's taking it gradually to build an unplayable team. I am building trust with Xavi daily and I hope he gets the materials to change our fate.

Gavi seems to be playing with a knock. Let Xavi try Coutinho or any other option so that boy doesn't get injured. Nico seems off too.
