I can detect a lie already...He's been participating in the Champions league since he came to City but he hasn't won despite spending more than the budget of some states in Nigeria...

And as for most of the players he met being past their prime, oh please...Those players won the league just a few seasons before his arrival ...Pep met Aguero, David Silver, Fernadinho, Kompany,Toure, Sterling,Stones,Otamendi...
Miss me with that being old mantra(It's untrue)...He met a lot more stars but what did he do, binned them on the way to spending a billion + on an already deadly squad...

And it's not just an unfortunate Champions league stint with City like you're insinuating...It's also his disgraceful Champions league campaigns with Bayern...Hint hint...Bayern has won a champions league trophy since the got rid of him...
He's still here trying to bin more players on the way to spending another billion while underachieving like he's always done....
When did Bayern got rid of him and when did they win the ucl? 7 years since they last won it. C'mon... Every coach has had a taste of disgrace from the ucl since they last won it except Thomas Tuchel and that is because it's recent.

Now, lets talk about the names in bold... Can you tell me any one still playing top flight aside from Sterlin and KDB? This goes on to tell you that none of those players fitted his plans. And the ones that remained attained unimaginable brilliance than they ever had before under his tutelage that saw them become the best of the best.

That said, the transfer market isn't the same as it used to be as teams are using every avenue they have to sell their players at desperate cut-throat prices. As aforesaid, if it were to be these times that the previous coaches in the likes of Maccini, Pellegerini and co bought the players they won with, they definitely would have cost 2/3x more than the regular price they had then.

Pep has set a standard so I can u understand why you think his unlucky stint to win the ucl since leaving Barcelona is not justifiable. Don't worry. He'll win more than Klopp and Ferguson ever dream of.

Shalom.

How come club owners are not rushing to appoint Pellegrini rather its Pep they are giving their money?
Same Pellegrini that bought Ronaldo, Kaka, Bemzema, Alonso and Raul Abiot and couldn't win spoon before he was chased out is what he's using as a comparison with Pep.

I'm not twisting anything...City wanted to be a force... They bought players.... Pellegrino delivered...

Cut to Pep..

City were already a force, he still added a billion +...
What has he done except getting knocked out by Monaco and their likes in Europe...
Last season he managed to get to a final, something that he hasn't tasted in years..He managed to bottle it despite trying all the tactics on this earth...
Pep should have 6 Champions league trophies to his name considering Clubs he has managed and Money spent....
If he ends his managerial Career with less than 5... He will be considered a failure by me and like-minded individuals....

And it's not by listing Pellegrino's transfers and their price tags.. If we start Pep own for here, na you go run grin grin
Your retributive answer is just not right.

Most of the players you claim made City great were past their prime when Pep came. The only one for that time still active is KDB, and for a team that wants progress, the coach's needs have to be met. Part of the contract pep signed was one that allows him to complete autonomy to do whatever he wants as long as the result is achieved.

Yes, he might not have won the UCL with city yet, but then let's not forget that sir Alex, despite spending 26 years as United manager only managed to win 2 UCL and retired at an old age of 70. This is the same feat Guardiola has achieved before he was even 40 and has managed less than 15 years. Zidane might have won the UCL consecutively but hey, that was just it. Pep won every damn trophy he participated in and not even Enrique managed that, despite winning a treble. So if you'd go on and about his unfortunate stint in the UCL with City ( despite that there are significant improvements every year) then, you should be quick to accept that Ferguson is the biggest fraud of elite coaches, ever.

First off, Pellegrino won the league cup twice along with the premier league title in just there years....He didn't spend a billion...He also got City to the Champions league SF..
City won the Fa Cup in 2011 too..

I asked a simple question...What exactly has Pep done for City his predecessors didn't do ..
He's spent a billion and has only managed a final and failed to win ....
He's not brought added success to any club post Barcelona... Contrast with Managers like Conte,Klopp, Tuchel....

Just incase you forgot,Pep has outspent every coach that has won the Champions league since the last time he won it, but what does he get, constant drubbings by Monaco,Lyon, Tottenham and their likes

If he fails to win with City,I wonder which other top club he will run to because he's had all of them... Maybe Psg grin grin
Pellegrini brought a world-class team to city. The transfer market wasn't even as hyped as it is now but it was one that got brows raised. The like of KDB - 76m, Sterlin - 63.7m, Fernadinho - 40m, Jovetic - 26m, Negredo, - 25m, Delph-11m, Reges-15m, Bony-32m, Mangala and Otamendi, costing 44 and 45m, respectively. Now, if it were Pep's time, these players would cost twice as much, + they were within 3 years that he took over. This your agenda is completely flawed.

If you like, twist it anyhow you want, it still doesn't change he's the most decorated active coach, alongside Mou, all within 15 years since he started his career. So, what are we saying?

Hmm, sounds decent.
Just hope they put his injury record in mind. Right now Barca can't afford to bring in players with sketchy fitness.
If we can also add the hyped up Karim Adeyemi to it, just maybe we may be great again. We need more than two dependable players in the forward lineup.
He's recommended by Deco who's responsible for scouting players for Barcelona from Portugal and Brazil. He's has a pretty decent playing life with minimal injuries but as you know, the competition in laliga would be more fierce...

We have he turn out well sha cos me I want to see depay deployed to the wings...

So what has Pep done that different managers haven't done?
He buys on trial and error...It's not about trusting him...City have money to spend and who better than the manager who likes to spend to win the exact same thing previous managers won...Abi is winning the Carabao cup now achievement huh
Won every domestic cup in less than 5 years of becoming a manager. He swept it all at once.

Managed to take Man City to the SF and Final, respectively which no other City coach has ever done.

Winning a trophy every single season in England aside from his first which is understandable.

Made City a force in European competition aside from the one-offs that they were before he took over.

Pep Guardiola just won his third Premier League title with Manchester City in 5 years. Meaning that he has won a trophy every 24 games during his managerial career. The Spaniard has won 10 trophies with City, 14 with Barcelona, and seven with Bayern Munich.

Give me a coach with better stats... I'll wait..

Are you sure of this? Think well before you answer.
Well, maybe that was exaggerated. But see this;

"Dating back to the 1992-93 Champions League season — the first since the name was changed from European Cup — English and Spanish sides have faced off in the Champions League 133 times. When it comes to head-to-head competition for England vs Spain Champions League battles, La Liga is the clear winner.

La Liga teams have won 50 times against Premier League squads compared to 39 for EPL teams. There have been 44 draws."

Since 2006, no epl team has won against the la Liga team in ANY European competition final...

So how competitive can the league be when they suffer against the "clear minions" when it mattered?

Look at this idiöt!

Your league only has 2 UCL winners in their history. Take Barca and Madrid out of La Liga and you have no other club that have won the CL.

England have Liverpool, Chelsea, United, Forest and even Aston Villa. The PL is more competitive, it has always been.

It’s not a glorified Scottish league.
Why would you take Madrid and Barca out of La Liga? Despite different team's winning the UCL from the EPL, they don't have as much as the UCL in the La liga, yet you lots claim it's the most competitive. Even the less competitive ones that play UEL have more than any team form the EPL that's supposed to be competitive... Or isn't it strange that despite playing against laliga teams in 16 different European cup finals, you've not even managed to win 1.

That's very competitive of the EPL, you know.

Pep has been at the job for more than 5 years. He’s spent all that money by himself, he’s been given a free role to pick and choose the kind of players he wants. So tell me, how has he managed the resources well?

Buying Claudio Bravo and binning him is managing resources? Buying Nolito and immediately selling him is managing resources? Anyways, Pep himself confessed City is a small club and that’s why they didn’t sack him. He’s a demigod there. Whatever he wants, he gets. That’s not management, that’s a luxury most managers don’t have.
Excellently well. The fact that he's been buying proves that the club trusts him enough. The same was given to Ole and blew it. Not every coach can manage that city's team and be successful.

You can spend millions upon millions and still not achieve anything if you don't know what you are doing. Your Manchester United is a testament to that. The fact that Pep has successfully managed those players he bought, with him winning every trophy available in England more than once and managed to reach to UCL semi-final and final shows that not everyone can do it. Frenkie shld b d starman among d four. But even if he's nt playing he's absence won't be noticed unlike Busi. Dude is becoming an arthur melo on pro max. I saw loftus cheek against juve creating chances , giving assist and making dribbles. Even gavi right now is more daring... if pedri come bak e sure me say xavi won't bench nico or gavi 4 frenkie
Why are you shifting post? The post I replied you was on you claiming that FDJ not doing anything yesterday, not last season. Even the last season sef, he was one of top 4 players even though he was average. What do you expect him to amount to under Koeman? Even Messi had his worse stats last season under Ronald and you except FDJ to be any better?

You say Frankie won't be missed if we don't play him? Lol. I'll take it that you are either playing around or clearly don't watch Barcelona games. As much as Gavi, Nico and Pedri are pivotal, underestimating FDJ would be really gross. He was average yes, but bros, forget, he's still an exceptional player if he has a good mentor. Yesterday was a testament to that, respective to how many times he tried going forward

Yesterday was World Men's Day celebration and more than 99% of the world's population did not celebrate it.

No brand celebrated it.

A whole Google that would change its logo during women and mother's day celebration did not acknowledge men on men's day celebration.

The following are reasons while most people did not observed men's day.

1. The FUTURE is FEMALE. The world power (USA) is currently headed by a female. Women own the world.

2. Men's supremacy is over. Never again would a man rule over us.

3. The atrocities committed by men is just too much making people wonder why they should be celebrated.

4. Men hardly do something worth celebrating. Imagine Davido using Chioma to gain fame then snubbed her. God is God of justice

Our aerial ball prowess isn't really great in defense. We need a proper 9. Depay isn't a kind of striker to play that. He's very much a SS. If I was Xavi, I definitely would be confused as to who to substitute in here right now. We badly need goals but who can deliver it.
