You will be invited to go through the following steps:

Step 1: Computer-Based Test.

Step 2: Assessment center & Documentation.
Successful candidates from the Computer Based Test would be invited for an Assessment Centre. Candidates are expected to demonstrate key capabilities and also exhibit qualities and skills required for smooth operations in the Bank. Candidates will also be required to provide evidence of relevant qualifications/credentials for verification.

Step 3: Final Interview.
Successful candidates from the Assessment Centre would be required to meet with a member of the Executive Management Team for the final selection process.

Step 4: Foundation School.
Successful candidates from the final interview will be offered a place in our Graduate Trainee foundation school programme, wehre successful candidates will be trained and tested on practical, social, and technical aspects of the Bank. Thereafter, successful candidates from the school will be offered employment into the Bank.

Responsibilities

Track and record movement of all assets including acquisition, depreciation, transfers, disposal/ impairment of assets in accordance with company policies and IFRS.

Analyse General Ledger Accounts, to identify costs that should be capitalized and included in fixed assets
Prepare capitalization entries and monitor reports to ensure that assets are correctly accounted for into the fixed assets records.
Plan and co-ordinate physical verification of the Company’s Assets.
Reconcile the fixed asset register or sub-ledger, or the subsidiary asset management system to the general ledger control account for each class of fixed assets, and resolving any reconciling items
Maintain files for all supporting documentation for fixed assets and capital projects
Provide information for fixed asset reporting, such as summarizing financial activity for inclusion in the property, plant and equipment section of the financial statements
Coordinate the physical inventory process for fixed assets

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with 8 years minimum in a fast-paced corporate environment preferably in a similar role
Professional qualification like ICAN, ACCA, ACA is a plus
Good knowledge of IFRS, local and global Management Accounting Trends and practices
Excellence in analytical and logical reasoning
Good Knowledge of Fixed Asset Management.

This post is a guide for the 2016 N-Power corps who are yet to collect their device and were place on the next set name Batch B. this is a guide on the next date of collection, venue, items required for collection now and the process involve. You are to note that the collection of device for Batch B will commence soon after the distribution of the device to Batch A Beneficiaries have been concluded.
The distribution and collection of the N-Power device was split into batch A and Batch B in order to allow for smooth collection and easy access by all beneficiaries. This process started by September and went across the various states of the federation. The process of selection was enhance by the NPVN profile portal in which volunteers who selected their device before the said date of March 27, 2017 were placed and chosen to occupy the first Batch. The collection has already commenced.
Items Required For Device Collection- Batch B
For all 2016 N-Power beneficiaries who selected the N-power device on their profile portal after March 27, 2017 as well as those still have payment issues ranging from owed backlogs please note that you have been place on the next batch for the collection of your device. You will be notified on the next step to take via your phone numbers. Nevertheless, all those deem eligible to come for the device will be require to come with the following items;
A valid national identity card
The phone number containing the text message sent to you from the N-power team
Your BVN slip from your bank
This item will be asked at the point of collection of the device and we enjoin all volunteers to come with them or they will not be attended to. The commencement of the next set of volunteers –Batch B will start when all those in Batch A have been attended to but a definite deadline for all Batch A will be by December 2017. Those, batch B device collection will start by late January 2018. So keep your phone intact as text messages will be sent to all those concerned.
Process & Procedures involved in Device Collection
The Process & Procedures involved for the device collection for Batch B volunteers will be the same as applied to Batch A but will be those sent the text message and those who have be selected the device on their NPVN profile. They will be required also to come with their Bank Verification Slip for proper identification. Please take note that these device comes with free internet and credit for one full year and it is I partnership with MTN. Please take note that this Batch B device collection is not applicable to 2017 N-power new intake, though they will be given but at a schedule time
