Vyolet: I may believe this story because I've witness something of such so it is not out of place.
Mr Op, i know your pain is the fact that the guy is spending more money, younger and somehow gets your wife to be emotionally attached. I am also glad you said the truth about your own self and how you have been unfaithful to her. If you have not confronted her, do so now, let her explain herself, confess your own too and forgive each other. If you feel the African man in you cannot forgive her, kuku give her divorce and let her go be with the oyel guy she loves. If you want to forgive her, take time to find out what went wrong, could it be the distance, lack of emotion or she already knows you have not been faithful to her after preserving her virginity for you. Talk to her and not us. . Very candid advice. Thumbs up |

Zornes123: yes. They are all gone. Most times when I google a topic and it links me to nairaland and I see comments I am forced to check the date and it’s usually between 2006 and 2012. You see how mature the comments are, Hardly trolls, members giving you proper advice and all. But it’s so shit*y here now.even when I see sensitive topics( especially Health and relationship) of people I feel are genuinely looking for help, I just tell myself they should not have because the replies they will get here will just end up making them depressed more . . Exactly. Nairaland isn't what it used to be |

aremuforlife: I have seen a tenant who spent 6 years while withholding the owners money, they starting moving from one court to another. . You need to be very proactive and be one step ahead of your Tenants. Why would a landlord allow a tenant owe for 6 years? There's more to having a building properly managed. A landlord who is abreast with the laws "and knows what he's doing" wouldn't fall into the hands of wrong tenants. Most times they leave things too late and begin to complain and point fingers. Peace bro. |

Crime › Re: Landlord Removes His Tenant's Door And Roof Over Unpaid Rent by FirstCounsel(m): 11:01pm On Apr 23, 2020 |
aremuforlife: Why is our tenancy laws so biased, it only protect the tenant without considering the landlord. It is only in Nigeria, you will see a tenant occupying a rentage accommodation for years without paying. . Not quite so. The Tenancy Laws of Lagos state that I am quite familiar with is balanced. The thing is our people are not patient and would never follow due Process. There's no way a Tenant can stay in your property for years without paying if you involve a lawyer who knows what he's doing. |
Crime › Re: Landlord Removes His Tenant's Door And Roof Over Unpaid Rent by FirstCounsel(m): 9:04pm On Apr 23, 2020 |
Very unfortunate, but under our Laws(Tenancy Laws) it's illegal for a landlord to resort to self help under any guise. The Tenant can bring an action in Court successfully against the Landlord for this criminality. |
