What of if after you have made such a beautiful speech, the interviewers tell you "simple yes or no" what is then the best answer?

What this op said is total crap. I got a job in this country without knowing anyone. He is just a spoilt brat who I believe got his grades by his father helping him sort lecturers. Make a good CV, search for jobs on the internet, upgrade your knowledge where necessary, and above all be hopeful and prayerful. Not everybody has a father who is influential. I am sure his father had to work for his own success.

Dude, I am not buying a davido kind of Rolex watch. Just something she would appreciate. Its more about getting it right at the first time. I am scared of buying a wrong ring.

I would like to pop the question to my girlfriend of two years soon. But my issue is I have no idea of her ring size. I have read lots of treads here on nairaland on how people use rope to measure fingers when she is asleep or tell a friend of a friends friend to take her falsely to pretend to buy a ring for his girl friend that looks like her lol...
All these ideas seen novel but I am not cut out for all this wahala because I want to act African magic while proposing to her.
So I thought of buying her a nice gold wristwatch and taking her to a nice place, propose to her and give her the watch. Then if she says yes(I hope she does) then I either take her to a ring shop days later and she chooses her ring or I ask for her ring size and buy her one.
I think this would save me the cost and inconvenience of buying a ring twice just cos I want to be a Romeo. Abeg, dollar don cost and no money for frivolities again.
Pls am I on a right or wrong path?

I drive an 03 corolla. I got it in January last year. It was naija used earlier. I believe the previous owner got it in January 2012. I do not know the service history but I think it was not serviced previously with 5w 30 motor oil.
Since I got it I have serviced trice with 5w 30 motor oil. I serviced last august last year. I do not drive much maybe around 2000km since last service date. But when I checked the oil level this morning though the oil is still relatively OK but due for service I notice the oil has gone down. The level is close to quarter above the first hole on the dip stick. When I serviced last it was almost close to the second hole in level on the dip stick.
My neighbors say my engine may be getting weak. So I ask should I still continue with my 5w30 engine oil or use another heavier engine oil for the next service. And what could be the possible cause of the issue and likely remedies to the shortage of oil.

I work as a sales and business development manager for a certain company. In the course of my job I had access to personal emails, phone numbers and sometimes one on one meetings with some MD and top decision makers of some companies.

Recently I was told for some reason I would be out of my present job by mid next month. Meaning I would be job hunting soon.

I would like advice on if it is ethical and how best to go about it to send my resume unsolicited to these my contacts I have ganered. How to structure the mail and if it would turn out offensive and unethical if I use personal information i have to seek for their help.
