never vex say I never drop bs . now I know how much work it is to be a vigilante . my girl wants to be held and breastfed all night.

for the records, I and my in-law are now good frenemies . You know , when I do stuffs and don't let her know , we fight and we settle sweetly good thing

for the first two days my boobies didn't produce milk until d night of d second day
throughout yesternight my breasts were heavy and sore , as I speak, d left is dripping and some parts are hard . it is soo big , it pains d most and I don't like giving her that breast

I have a slight tear , I wasn't cut oooo
when does d pain of post childbirth go ??

pls what can one do about the stomach my in-laws are cooking me in hot water

gave birth this morning. Alhamdulilah rejoice with me ooo it's a girl ! bs later .

Babe cut the lady some slack! We aren't all the same and perhaps she is being careful so as not to offend you. You know we women are complex! If she asks about your tummy and is suggesting this or that you( speaking metaphorically here) may term it as prying or trying to control you for eg!

She may have her own issues she's dealing with at the moment and as Blunt as this may sound she may not be happy to have you in her house. She too may like her privacy.

My suggestions are that you go with the flow. Put some random snacks biscuits, cereals etc in your room for when the general household isn't eating like they may not cook lunch daily for eg.

Source your hospitals and medical needs ( for lack of a better expression) yourself. Use google and this forum to enquired about hospitals for eg. Don't expect her or her children to drive you anywhere if they offer fine if not enter bus or taxi.

Minimize your expectations and try to blend in as much as you can. Make polite conversation about general subjects and help out where you can. Join her when she's making meals and ask what you can do to assist generally.

I am not a lazy ass , I wake up each day to wash with her daughter and do some other stuffs , yet I am not appreciated . I don't bulge into pple space , I chat with her when necessary ( even though I do the chatting) .

yesterday she got a little bit dizzy while I was in my room , she asked someone to go get an outsider to help her . I don't know what the outsider could have seen to make rude indirect comments about the situation of the house as if I made her sick . I felt so ashamed that I just locked up until everything died down . I went out to greet she and the woman and the woman happened to be someone that I knew and used to like me but when she would reply , she replied like I wasn't even present .

infact I am tensed up ; everyday she insults her children and I kinda thinking it's not just about them alone ...,.....
my sister , I have dealt with a lot of pple and I know when I am simply wrong

I still believe there is no difference between you staying alone (especially with good neighbors who can easily help you out in case of anything) and you staying with some in-laws who care less about you and your condition. What is the essence of staying with them in the first place If not to cure loneliness and help you if you suddenly fall into labour. But now the reverse is the case with them. How are you sure if you fall in labour there, they will help you out on time. Am not sure they really want you in their house. Else they should have been more accommodating and caring. My thoughts tho...... I may be wrong.

All in all, make yourself happy and don't stress yourself. It is well with you

Sweetheart, please, no one has the right to your happiness except you dear. Look for anything, anything at all to make yourself happy. You can start by unpacking all your baby things and looking at them again, look at its shoes and imagine the tiny feet that will enter that shoe. You can tell your hubby how you feel there diplomatically ok. So you guys can come to a decision whether to go back home and get help or get a taxi man that you can always call incase you go into labour and you are alone. You mustn't wait until you are in your final stage of labour before you head to the hospital judging by your situation. Or you can suck it up, be patient and get what you want. HTH. The end is near ok, don't be sad ok.‎

how do you deal with an In-law who hardly talks or feel concern about your plight.

I just moved in with my husband's dad's brother wife (fian! I hope you gerrit) Abi na Hubby's cousin wife I don't know . All I know is that she is a wife and my husby is from her husband's side .

I have visited her twice and the more I try to get close to her the harder it seems

we arrived yesterday, I greeted her normally and I had to be the one looking for other homely greetings for this woman because she just answers in a simple way .

This morning, I greeted her and thanked her for her hospitality , she answered simply nooni . no question about my bulging stomach .

I went to ask her if she knew about any general hospital around she answered no that she thinks its sha in that area ( don't mind my language)

what about a good private hospital ? " its all around this vicinity "

OK when sister Xyz ( her daughter) maybe she Will take me to the generall hospital " it's far you will take bike " that was like showing her disapproval

then she said there were other neighbours of hers that her nurses .
she wouldn't tell me where to get them or their names or even lift a pin for me on this matter .

It's official ! satan is looking for my trouble .so i went for scan today,28 weeks .Baby in a breech position(head in the uterus,bottom in the cervix ,legs crossed ),took doc more than 30 minutes to find out the sex as if that is not enough anterior low lie placenta and a 7 months baby weighing 1.49 .i am just so mad at myself ,v bin too careless .I don't want to know how and where all this is coming from ,i'll vent all my annoyance on my knees .satan wants to disgrace himself again . It's being from one story to another .didn't bother telling dh,the least i can do is allow him concentrate at work and keep his sanity .i'm declaring again that i and my baby will not die and there shall be no complication ,seems satan's deaf or just being stupid as usual!

I have been having this smelly discharge that I thought would go with increased proper hygiene .

I woke up this morning to find out that it has increased and it's still smelly

could this be a normal discharge (whitish)
for women close to their delivery date

or its abnormal

I have been hearing digestive sounds coming from my stomach after some minutes of eating for weeks now .It last for more than 20minutes , I don't know what it means and it's giving me concern because I have never experienced it for more than 10 seconds

you know that sound now that comes from your stomach after eating , yes that's what I am talking about.

Size of tummy doesn't matter. are u in ur last trimester? Enjoy ur small bump while it last. I will say be getting ready for fourth trimester which is d first 3months after u give birth.it is well wt u nd ur baby.
