Onyeenyeh: I would speak based on my own experience. My POF was 100% gift deed from my mom. All I submitted from her end was her statement a few days preceding the gifting and highlighted the transfer. On my own side, i submitted about 2.5 months statement ( honestly do not know why I chose to submit 2.5 months). My mom and I signed the gift deed, with my dad as witness, I notarised it and wrote an LOE for it. That was basically all for POF, no ADR. July AOR, December PPR. thanks.this is reassuring.I wish you the best in your journey. |

FirstTImeUser: Hello house I've some enquiries about POF
I intend to use gift deed from my father.will I need to prove that my father has the ability to gift the money CONVINIENTLY during submission or at any point in time during the processing time? This is because for "one reason or the other" I am thinking of using my mother account to do the gift deed but her account does not have a history of heavy transactions.
Sometimes I really wonder if the deed of gift is that simple....more like I hope I am not missing something ohhh. Biko seniors in the house....I need answers please.God bless you |

Hello family
I got a donotreply mail to login which I did. I discovered that an update i did a day before this recent ITA (JAN 2019) to increase the money i am bringing to canada was not submitted.I just increased it to avoid issues in case IRCC increased their POF requirements.should I be worried the update wasn't submitted? Should I go ahead andre-submit the update( increase the money) now that I have gotten ITA? |

The one and only profile is now eligible.I just updated my POF. God bless you TEECANN: You wont have problems creating a new profile at the instance of a previously ineligible profile, however note the below points:
1. Maintain consistency of major and strategic info in your new profile similar to what you have in your old ineligible profile eg, date of birth, education, marital status, etc. However, when this happened to me, I still changed my NOC and increased my POF amount and nothing happened during my application processing. I guess you can effect such changes too.
2. That you have previously rejected an ITA is inconsequential to this new profile (However, note that all the details from your old profile including the changes madeand details in your new profile will be reflected in your GCMS. Although info reflected from your withdrawn profile will not be used in deciding your application)
You are good to go- effect the changes in your new profile and wait for your ITA. Congrats in advance on your ITA today.
It will end in praise IJN! |

Influential101: I don't think there's need to create another account since the present one has become eligible again.
Those that created new accounts should even check theirs too to avoid duplicity of account.. then delete one account where need be.
Since the ineligibility stuff has been rectified, I'm guessing there may be a draw today.. all the best people. Thanks:noted |

Thanks joo2018. I am grateful.you just opened my eyes to the implications. Just to check ...if i edit the profile will I have to a write a LOE during submission of my POF about the 'edit' since CIC will see my initial POF? THANKS joo2018: The whole thing is such a unique case.
My 2cents. Try to edit the "ineligible" profile ( eg. increase the POF). If you can edit it, then it is active and you can use it like that.
On the other hand, you are not supposed to have more than one active profile, but I think there will be an exception this time. I'm sure most people have already opened new profiles.
But this is poor from CIC. Why would there be no communication on this issue. And they pride themselves as the most open department in government. SMH. |

Good morning house,
I was one of the applicants that got the new year 'ineligible' express entry profile message. I read testimonies of creating a new profile, increasing the POF and becoming eligible but I decided to stay action on creating a new profile till i see an official information on their website about the "increase in POF" but none up till now.
Long and short is I prepared to create a new profile just now. I logged into the "ineligible" account profile and I saw the info which says I am eligible again although no message was sent to that effect. I still have the ineligible message in my account though. I also had two ghost updates between Jan 1 and now.
Right now it says I meet the minimum criteria. #You are a candidate. We will send you a message if you are invited to apply# ....OK ohhhhh
I am thinking the whole ineligible profile message was just a glitch like some have pointed out.Should I go ahead and create another profile? I hope I wont have issues post AOR about my eligibility?.I intend to increase the POF in my account before submitting my application to give room for an increase in POF requirement that IRCC might introduce.
Note: I received an ITA before now but had to decline towards the deadline last december. I am expecting another ITA today @464
I will appreciate your comments and opinions.thanks |

You only have an EE profile. |

Inspiring story I must say.congratulations My ita is also about to expire because I am yet to get my pof. How many days between the day money landed in your account and AOR? thanks in anticipation of your answer. Bonvieto: It's PPR! Sorry for the delay in dropping this, it’s been a long hectic week
My timeline
ITA: July 25, 2018 AOR: Sept 3, 2018 Biometrics: Sept 26, 2018 RPRF Mail: Nov 20,2018 PPR: Dec 18 Visa office: Ottawa IELTS: First attempt (FEB 10) LSRW 8.5,8.5,8.5,7.5
POF: used my savings account, and gift deed from my parents, and a simple LOE explaining that
My story I got deported from the UK, naa scam lawyer do me, lawyer never submitted my residence application but kept taking my money, I only found out when I got picked up, out of the blue, but it is well. Sharing this in case anyone is on this thread and wondering if being deported from another country other than Canada affects one’s chances of obtaining PPR from Canada, it doesn’t!!!
Immediately I touched down in Nigeria, I gave myself a month to wallow, and by Jan 2018, I began the EE process, I paid for IELTS and wrote in Jan, I used WES to verify my Masters Degree from the UK, it was straightforward and easy for me sha, not sure why ppl nowadays complain of WES?. I didn’t need to verify my BSc. Thanks to this forum.
POF was an almighty struggle, rejected my first ITA because I couldn’t get the complete POF, but I didn’t give up, I reapplied again and put double effort to get the POF sorted, I only used a simple savings account, gift deed, and LOE explaining the huge chunk inflow in a short time. OH and yes I did say during my application that I was deported before, and I explained the reasons and submitted proof in my LOE, and it ended in praise, Thank God.
MY ADVICE; 1. Don’t lie, Canada runs checks before and after you get your PPR. 2. Try and make your LOE as simple and straight to the point as possible 3. I used a pdf creator to arrange my documents, I also named each document with my name express entry number and what document it was e.g Lagbaja LOE 12345789.pdf 4. One thing I have realised is the easier you make it for an Officer to read your application the quicker it gets approved.
I thank God for everything. |

OK. Thanks you Obtay: Thanks while we wait for the seniors to shed more light. .. If I remember well ,it's at the point of submitting the application after ITA. I think the personal activity or so column where you ain't mearnt to leave any gap in time ..
I really don't know the implication but what I have read here is that filing NYSC as government might draw unnecessary attention to probing your application and thereby delay it completion... .. Well,it didn't for us we might have just got lucky or favoured. .
Hope we hear more from the seniors
[quotae author=FirstTImeUser post=74003952]Congratulations. Go and prosper!!!
Please I need a clarification. I have already received ita.yet to submit my application though...
I@bolded please at what point did you reference your Nysc ? Was it during filling your express entry profile or when submitting your application? I can't even remember if I filled anything like that.
Also was is the implication of referencing Nysc as working for the govt?
Cc seniors in the house please respond |

Thanking God for a smooth one.Our prayer as a family has been God should make it really difficult or not even granted if it not his will for us to move.but alas......here it is ... It's a really difficult decision for us to leave all behind here though but hmm ,we still seek daily reason why we should and God is showing us. . To God be the glory we are quite very comfortable here, hubby earns quite well..( over #1m monthly,I know is change to some other people oo,just quoting figured so you know why we are skeptical) and my business ain't doing badly as I voluntarily resigned from my well paying(about 400k monthly)banking job in 2016 after spending about 10yrs. . The major reason for considering us leaving is majorly kids secured future, and hubbys health
Stages . Ielts was okay for us,though hubby had a short fall of 0.5 in listening so had to rewrite his this year and came out well. .
POF:submitted general bank reference letter,6months time deposit fixed only 1mthns before submission, those were for proof of funds but we just still included a month statement of another account with reasonable balance and also statement of his salary account just to show inflow of his salary .
Medical at IOM:Hubby is diabetic with daily insulin injections,he declared this at the hospital and the doctor advised they do a little further test so we won't be requested to do additional test after submitting.we did and we happy the hospital was proactive enough as our medical came back as passed without any further request. . Mistake we think we made:Hubby and I referenced NYSC as government,so wheb we started seeing here that we shouldn't have,we were like you see us,and said now reason for A DR has come alas,no ADR ... In all we thank God for this and prays he keeps guiding all our steps accordingly.
Currently at studio 24.
P.S..please I really love reading peoples different reasons for relocating. It's different for everyone but it can help point one in the right direction too.we need as many reasons as possible..as God is unfolding this daily to us.
