I am not a catholic but this 3 prayers were useful to me and my family . 

Wrote IELTS with just about few days preparation,nursing 11 month old twins and working in a busy dept yet i cleared it once. I recited the Saint Joseph of Cupertino prayer and my level of confidence was so high that I got home telling hussy " I think i will miss only one question in Reading"....result was 8.5.

POF ..... Saint Jude prayer for financial assistance...two days after that prayer His miracle came forth seamlessly.

Then at the point of submission...we held hands....5 of us... sang and prayed. 

The 3days Holy spirit prayer comforted us that it will end in praise.

Kai....Jesus you love me too much o....cant just stop speaking in tongues...cos i cant find the words.

I don't know where to start but I will thank God first for today. All praise belong to him.
I will thank all the guys here especially those who make out time to share information on the platform. I learnt a lot here. I was encouraged by other people's struggles and stories. I also got the link that helped with our major breakthrough in the journey here. I will not say am a silent reader but when I applied to be an elder Newmum0615, Macstan, Tojued and co did not consider me. How can Newmum0615 who is my junior in Engineering faculty in UNIZIK be an elder and I will not be an elder....lol. Thanks a lot guys. The company I enjoyed here throughout the journey has been superb.

Around April last year when we thought of this journey, I was not sure we will get enough points to get ITA so we wanted to go through the study route. It was at that point that I joined Nairaland study group. I convinced my wife to take IELTS which she did and did well and we applied to a school in Nova Scotia and got admission but later my brother who lives in Canada got his PR and the prospect of getting extra 15 points shifted our attention to EE again. We took IELTS (General) together and my wife cleared the thing. She has B.A in English sha. Along the line I also confirmed from the contact I got in NTI Kaduna that people have successfully validated their PGDE with WES and that finally changed the story.

For POF we used a joint account. We also had my PFA account statement but to avoid stories that touch the heart, the money we had in the joint account covered the basic POF needed. The PFA account was just added as extra.

The major challenge we had was hussle for 2 or more certificates. That is where I will always be grateful to Nairaland. I came here and asked if anybody had evaluated the PGDE from NTI. The first time nobody responded but when I asked again, a good friend here gave me a contact tin NTI, Kaduna. Prior to that, we went to their office in the city we live and applied for the transcript but the man there did not look like somebody that knows what he is doing. We applied in December, 2017 and till about February, 2018 the request had not been sent and there was no guarantee it will be pushed. This necessitated my question here for clue which finally paid off.

For those that are still in the journey, my advise is that you should persevere. We had our moments of doubt. We spent money to get things done but at the end success makes you forget what you went through.

ALWAYS FOCUS ON THE GOAL. FORGET ALL DISTRACTIONS AND DON'T BE DISCOURAGED.

Stamping and notarization not compulsory. As long as it is on the company’s letterhead paper and the paper contains the list of key staff of the business, address, email and contact of the person that signed the letter... then no issues. Good luck

I just got a reference letter from my former place of employment. Meets all criteria except that it is not stamped.
My question is this...is it compulsory to stamp the letter despite the fact that it is written on letter head paper?
Do I need to notarize the letter?

Good morning house

I intend to draft a letter of reference to be sent to the HOD of my Nysc place of primary assignment for signature. I can't quote a specific annual salary because i ,alongside my fellow corpers,was not placed on a salary grade level. Moreover I didn't spend up to a year there( batch b vis-à-vis got ppa 2 months after camp).Also our monthly allowance varied by a few naira and kobo. is it COMPULSORY to include my monthly allowance in my letter of reference? Can't I be silent on the amount? My average work hours is included though. Can I just say in the letter
'..... he was being paid a monthly allowance by the hospital apart from the monthly federal allowance.....'?

My enquiry goes thus......
I am a graduate of Dentistry from a Nigerian University.I intend to apply for masters in public health at some Canadian Universities.

The issue is this. My class of degree is unclassified. I mean we don't use GPA. How do I determine if I meet the minimum requirements for a masters in public health in Canada.
Wes is an assessment platform but most of the Universities in Canada do not require a Wes assessment. The only want you to send a copy of your transcript and they will assess themselves. But I don't want to send in my application and pay for the application fee without being able to determine if I meet their minimum requirements.
Also as a graduate of health Sciences (had a final year theme course in community health) do you think I stand a better chance to be admitted considering the fact that other disciplines apply for mph in Canada?

Police are responding to reports that a van has hit a number of pedestrians on London Bridge in central London.
Witnesses have said that armed officers are understood to be at the scene after a white transit van mounted the pavement before driving into people.
The Met Police say they are dealing with an incident on the bridge and "multiple resources" are in attendance.
Transport for London said the bridge has been closed in both directions due to a "major police incident".
Latest updates on London Bridge incident
Bus routes were being diverted and the neighbouring Southwark Bridge has also been shut, it added.

BBC reporter Holly Jones, who was on the bridge at the time of the incident, said the van was driven by a man and was "probably travelling at about 50 miles an hour".
"He swerved right round me and then hit about five or six people. He hit about two people in front of me and then three behind," Ms Jones told the BBC News Channel.
Five or six people were being treated for injuries after the vehicle mounted the pavement and hit them, she said.
"I'd say there are about four severely injured people. They all have paramedics assisting them at the moment."
She said the van, which was travelling from the direction of central London, headed towards the south side of the river.
Ms Jones later reported seeing a man being arrested by police. She said he was handcuffed and had his shirt off.
London Ambulance Service tweeted: "Multiple resources attending an incident at #LondonBridge, please avoid the area".
