Agriculture / Re: Invest As Little As N250,000 And Make N12,500 Per Month And N150,000 Per Year by fison(m): 2:13pm On Jul 22, 2015
[quote author=AlphaFarms2014 post=36126994]Mr Louis, please tell whats wrong with the title? Its a simple english language of making 5 % interest on every capital invested. 5 % of N250,000 is N12,500 and if you earn that every month for 1 year it means N12,500x 12 = N150,000. Does it make sense to you. You earn more than 50% of capital invested in a year and your capital is still yours and can be withdrawn at any time. Does it makes sense to you now?
Let me still educate you more on the profit analysis for 1000 laying birds. Read below

Layers (Poultry): 1000 birds will produce 900 eggs at 90% production. 1000 birds will consume 5 bags x25kg of feed daily. Each 25 kg of feed =N2300. A crate of egg is sold at N600.

900 eggs/ 30 eggs per crate = 30 crates. 30 crates x N600 = N18, 000 (Revenue)

Cost of production = 5 x N2300 = N11, 500;

Income = Revenue –Cost of production = N6, 500

Monthly income before expenses = N195, 000.

Monthly Salary for personnel taking care of 1000 laying birds = N25, 000

Vetinery doctor (consultant) = N20, 000

Logistics (Fuel for pumping water per month) =N5000 ;

Drugs = N5, 000

Total expenses = N55, 000.

Total profit after expenses= 195000 – N55, 0000 = N140, 000.00

Also note that one layer bird at the point lay i.e. 17 weeks old is sold at the market between N1400 to N1600 which means 1000 layers should cost approximately N1.5million hence the poultry business has approx.10% return on investment after expenses.

The Farm has 3,500 laying birds and would like to increase its capacity to 10,000 layers so as to make minimum of N1.4million on monthly basis so if i take 5% and give you 5% is it a bad deal?

How much did you buy the birds? Cox you didn't stay the cost of the birds (each/all) in the analysis you did. Thanks, learning big time from you.

NYSC / Nysc: It's Manifest-gains And Lasting Effect! by fison(m): 8:16pm On Jul 21, 2015
This scheme (NYSC) wasn't an error afterall. It's establishment towards the fostering of our unity and continuity as Nation-State doesn't evolve either as an understatement or exaggeration but a chronicle of reality and truism.
With my experience, I hold that NYSC has successfully won me over, establishing this passionate bond between me and the East...Igbo people.
Frankly, I am from Osun State, South-Western part of Nigeria.

I grew up in the western part of the country; schooled in the South-West(UNAD, now EKSU) before graciously certified to embark on the compulsory National Service to serve my father-land in 2013.
Upon the notification of my State of NYSC posting, friends and subordinates regarded my posting an embarrassment but it wasn't afterall.

I served at Madonna Secondary School (a Catholic school), at Ugwuakuma in Arochukwu Local Government of Abia State, where life was so pleasantly beautiful to me.
The bottom line is that I enjoyed the best of the Igbo's.

My host community treated not only me but others in special ways. They love me and accommodated us, we love them in return and got to know more about their special and unrivaled culture.
The food combination, nature and language are altogether superlative!
Abia (Aros' precisely) people are kind people who treated us like kings and queens.
Na small remain self, I for no come home again but nostalgia for home prevailed. Because the meals cum soups; and more importantly their "products" are second to none. Nna enh, those factors odi too much (lol)!
Nnamabia; Ashurumgi; kedu koodu; ebelebe mfe; obi onmwa; Nwokonemfe; etc all na the language.
Flavour, weterem the music? I will prefer Ada-Ada or anyother one.
Igbo kwenu; una too much abeg!

Jokes Etc / Did You Ever Write A Love Letter Back In Those Days? by fison(m): 4:47pm On Jul 21, 2015
Hmmmmm! Time and ability plus double capacity has forced my hands and brain to dance automatically on this benedicted medium. Why this miraculous thing happened is simply because I love you spontaneously and as I stand horizontal to the wall and perpendicular to the ground. I only think of you, since you are a fantastic, fabulous lady and a queen in the making but baby, please stop haranguing with the feelings in my heart because I love you more than a rat loves fish. To me, each day starts by thinking of you and ends by dreaming of you. Each time I see you, my metabolism suddenly stops and my peristalysis goes in reverse gear. My medular-oblongata also stop functioning. Crazy! Crazy!! Crazy!!! you may say but this is true. If only you knew what is going on in my encephalon, you would understand how very well I adore you. If words of love could ride a bicycle, I would be competing against Diego Maradona. That's why I need to see you as soon as possible since you have promised to visit. I think I have to pen-off here because I still haven't finished studying electrolysis and polymerization. Catch you pa-later. Sleep tight and don't let those bed bugs ever bite you coz you are too sweet a queen for them. Yours ever Ade.
