zombader: Nt really related to the topic buh I hv a problem using vlc on my system... It converts all my files and programs into vlc executable mode, including my desktop icons. Hw can I correct this? Thanks

that's a virus, just do system restore and try to put the restore date to the date you took notice of that change. It should work(but might uninstal some software, although it will show the affected software)
Hello to all Nairalanders in the building. I want to take Computer Science Course (Comp Sci) in University [Because I"Love Everything About Computation"]; So while am still waiting for admission, I want to start a Web Development program (Programming - Java, Javascript, Python & PHP) and I need a good (rugged) Laptop. I've set a budget of N85k (N85,000). But, Does Brand (Like: Acer, Dell, HP or Lenovo) really matter, or determined a good Laptop? Any advice? I'm waiting with great anticipation to hear from you...

OH! Am I Dreaming? Can't Believe It, front page? Dancing Alingo.
Hey friend, i started using a PC wen leaving d secondary school back then in 1999 & completed my training early 2000. I've had opportunity 2 work with different PC's and even as an agent with a leading Coy in IB, in my close to 30months I used four different HP products but since I have been using my Acer Aspire 3810T i haven't been dissappointed. the processor is 1.6 gh back then, though its low for my Photoshop now. I will sincerely recommend ACER since u have such money you can buy the highest Acer product online @ that price & I bet it you won't be dissappointed. Ppl don't know Acer give da best service with longer Battery Life @ Cheapest price. 75% of HP in Nigeria is fake. I bought my Acer online. And everything it cost me 52K. Just make sure you get atleast 2.3gh Processor and 4 gig Ram hardisk space is nothing.

You can't claim such, be it money or property because you don't have proof of such money. Somethings are nt done on assumptn, its about fact and ethics. Even u gave d money to d cashier; while still counting it robbers came as long as u don't have d teller to claim it then its bygone bt only if d cashier wants to help she can write a Teller for u (which is a HELP). Although banks claim that if u collect money and left d counter u can't come back to claim dt such money is nt complete. Am very sure ds is possible in Germany as they refer to the CCTV cameras to knw hw much is the money. Will u blame banks for being robbed at d ATM Point around 5 in d morning?

jaymezzz: LOL...who told you that?

with technology? Nothing is impossible

Backing up of file's and other stuffs must be considered, as in Nokia PC Suit, Itunes and Blackberry Desktop Manager to propel adequate back-up of BBM contacts.
With the current euphoria about BBM on Android and Iphone. New users are now in ecstasy and enjoying BBM Live on their devices.

I am also one of them but despite this euphoria a lot of questions have been bugging my mind and I think it is important that I ask them because I dont have answers to them:

(1). I hope that I can keep my BB Pin even if I change my Android phone. This was one of the reasons why I did not have a BB phone because you have to get a new Pin anytime you get a new phone which is like changing your home or office address every six months. I feel your BB Pin should be part of your identity just like your phone numbers and your name.

(2). Now that Android phones and Iphones officially have a kind of Blackberry feature in them I think it is also wise that our Nigerian network providers should also make internet plans on these devices very affordable and pocket friendly. Just like the Blackberry plans. Or what do you think?

(3). What is the future of other mobile IM services like WhatsApp, WeChat, Viber etc. Especially WhatsApp?.

Something tells me that if WhatsApp does not step up its game soon, they could well have an exodus on their hands.

These are my questions for now. Feel free to enlighten me and you may also ask your own questions.[/quote

Has Android considered user's back up? I mean something in form BB Desktop manager. Cus users wil need to back up their contacts t be fully safe.
