Why do people always want to argue when it's clear WizKid is a bigger artist. He dominates both locally and internationally. Davido on the other hand does equally well locally but he has ZERO international presence. This makes Wizkid a better artist. Lets just cut this B.S and enjoy their good music.

Stop making stupid famous!. Enough of this clown noise maker. We Africans are fond of celebrating people by their spending.

He obviously is into internet yahoo and has the typical attitude they have. Spend money to prove you're worth something. All he does is buy Cloths and rent jets and cars which he doesn't own. Does anyone know his networth? No!

If he has it like he claims then where are his property and fleet of cars? Instead he goes around buying clothes and spending lavishly on drinks just to get media and the worlds attention.

Very typical of an internet fraudster. 90% of them are about the life of spending money they didnt work for and having nothing behind closed doors. They make a naira and spend 80kobo just to decieve the world that they have a lot sitting sowhere. It's a part of their scam!. B.S

Sprint Samsung S7 doesn't request for unlock. Sprint has removed the standard SIM unlocking mechanism from its phones and only allows devices to be unlocked through its system.

Your unlocking will need to come handy.

You can WhatApp me via my Signature below..

Thanks

Yes i know it doesn't request for an unlock code when another network SIM is inserted. My question is how do i get to use a different service provider on my Sprint S7. The display says invalid SIM.

Look at the idiot! Totally ignored a stop sign like he can do it where he's coming from. Smh! We Nigerians are the reason why our country is lagging behind. We act like we're saint when we here but as soon as we leave the airport, step on that plane back home we're different people entirely breaking our laws instead of following the footsteps of other developed countries.

mykel20:
Lot's of people confuse speaking good English with speaking with a foreign accent. Most(not all) of what is referred to as the Nigerian accent is just incorrect English tbh. Although I do agree that a lot of Nigerians fake foreign accents tho. I guess they think it makes them sound posh ( their own cup of tea anyway) But living for a long time abroad can certainly change the way you pronounce certain words but I doubt if it will change your whole accent, unless of course you want it to
craziebone:

you are absolutely right!
Being a good speaker of English or anyother language for that matter has got more to do with your grammar and a deep understanding of the idioms and the use of tenses (in the case of English language), and proverbs (in the case of African languages) rather than how well you pronounce some words.
For me, grammar comes first before accent. If you do not speak a proper grammar and you go on ahead to speak with the accent, you will only end up making a mess of yourself.
With a good grammar and local accent, people will find it beautiful listening to you. But with a good accent and poor grammar, you need to record yourself when you speak and just listen to how terribly you sound afterwards! Lol
moral lesson: Grammar comes first!

Absolutely correct!!! Accent, English grammar and words pronunciation are three different things entirely! Totally different! Do you guys know there are Americans that were born here in the U.S who DO NOT speak good English and CANNOT read, write and spell correctly. They have their American accent, never lived outside the U.S or been on an airplane but still they do not speak the correct grammar... I work in HR and do you wonder why corporate job descriptions here require Excellent verbal and written English skills

I traveled to europe 15 years ago and my friend traveled to U.S. at the same year.

We met recently and he tried to speak "yo men" to me. I scolded him to not try that sh*it with me. He then switched to the accent I expected of him.

I speak dutch and french and have spent many years in both France and Netherlands. I still have Nigerian accent and the same as my Nigerian friends in Europe.

If you know anyone who weren't born abroad or didn't go there as a little kid, the person is faking the foreign accent!!

I can mimic french or dutch accents but they're not my normal accent. When I speak with french people I mimic their accent and they like it. The same applies to dutch people when i speak to them in their accent. Even in Nigeria, we like foriegners who speak any of our local languages with its accent.

So if you were not born abroad or didn't go there as a little kid, you're faking it!!

Exactly!!! If you relocated at any age above 15 year you're FAKING it!. It's only done to communicate with them effectively. One thing that makes me mad is seeing Africans trying to talk like Americans from the hood speaking Ebonics. "Yo man wutdido", "Imma fendi come tru", "niggaz is trynna hoop yo", "I don copped me some nu J's",... They look dumb, stupid and ignorant talking like this. The real Americans DO NOT talk like this. I repeat Americans DO NOT!. People that speak like this are frowned upon. They're low classed, from the ghetto and felons who've been in and out of jail. They cant read, write or spell in ENGLISH language. YES! In ENGLISH. They were born here but CANNOT speak good English, read or write and yet i see these Africans try to mimic them. Ridiculous and Pathetic!.

MENTORCH:
If you didn't spend your first 13years abroad, even if you live abroad for 40years your accent can't change unless you are forming it.
Exactly!!! Your vocal cords naturally and FOREVER will continue with the accent you grew up with. Kids above 15 years will FOREVER and always have the accent they grew up with no matter where or how long they spend the rest of their lives.
Ugosample:

There are accent coaches bro.
Listen to Boris Kodjoe speak.
He moved to the U.S. in his 20s, and speaks like an American.
It is possible bro, just that it is very tough.
But with determination, and using accent coaches, it us achievable.
I did that with French
Wrong!!! You can NEVER build an accent. You'll FOREVER stick to what you grew up with. Whatever accent he learnt is something anyone can learn withing a couple of days. You can hear his "American accent" because you're Nigerian but a typical American will notice his African accent no matter how much he tries to use the American accent.
MissGdope:

you're kind of right but if you go abroad as a child and spend a significant amount of time with children with foreign accents at school, its very easy to catch on because children are very impressionable. Even if you went abroad at the age of 13, you could still have your accent affected by the people around you. happened to me
Correct!!! You develop the accent if you relocate as a kid. I've met several Liberians and Ghanaians that were born in Africa but relocated when they were less than 5 years. Fast forward till now when in their 20's 30's they DONT sound like Africans. They CANNOT even fake the African accent because they were raised here in the States.
Eke40seven:

I don't believe that is completely true. The reason why most people abroad switch to another accent is because when you speak to these people from these countries in your thick Naija accent, they tend not to understand you completely or even at all. It's straining for them. So sometimes you yourself get caught up, except when you are in an environment where you don't need to communicate in English at all.
They say when you're in Rome do as the Romans do. When i'm with my American friends i speak like they do but when i'm with my Naija friends i switch to my Naija accent. You'll NEED to learn to some extent the American accent to secure a job here. You'll need to communicate verbally with people you work with or clients or customers depending on the type of job. Your thick Naija accent could be difficult for them to clearly understand without you repeating your sentences.

Exactly why white people see 'Black Lives Matter' as a joke. How can we demand respect from others if we don't respect ourselves
justwise:
Black live still matter in this case? This is group of young black boys carrying out this barbaric act

Well said! BlackLivesMatter can never be taken serious until the black community work on making themselves better. Statistics shows majority of those incarcerated are blacks, majority of those that live in neighborhood prone to crime are blacks. Blacks are most likely to commit a crime than the white man. How on earth is the whole BlackLivesMatter movement going to be taken serious? What makes this all sad is the innocent black man thats doing something positive with his life will have to face the stereotyping that comes with all these.

Mamamdou Bah an immigrant from West Africa and an ice cream truck driver is now unable to earn a living. Tuesday, a group of young men attacked him while he was working. Mamadou regularly sold ice cream to families all over Memphis. On 7/26/16, Mamadou pulled into an apartment complex where a group of guys attempted to rob him. He sped away and crashed his vehicle into a wall. A man used Facebook Live to record a group of men beating the ice cream truck driver at Bella Vista Apartments in Memphis on Squire Court.Police were called to the scene just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday where the driver told officers a man opened the ice cream truck's passenger door and jumped inside.

After causing the truck to crash, another man joined in on the assault.

The driver was pulled to the ground, punched, kicked, and beaten with a weapon that appears to be a baseball bat.

“I need justice, because I didn't do anything to them,” Mamadou Bah said.

The men took off with cash from the Bah's pocket. Bah also had to go to the hospital to have doctor's treat his injuries.

Bah is now at home, all bruised up and nursing a broken arm.

“Like five people jumped on me, take my money, and beat me for no reason,” Bah said. “I can't move these arms. This one is broken and this one is—hardly--I can't lift it.”

Bah, 54, was left helpless as people watched.

“They pulled me out of the truck and said, ‘Give me the money; give me the money; give me the money,’” Bah said.

Bah said he thought his life was over.

“They beat me until I fell on the floor,” he said.

Helen Knight, who lives nearby, said she heard about the attack and will soon be moving.

“I don't think anybody deserves to be beaten up like that at all,” Knight said.

Bah, a father of three, said he may take months to recover, and he wants to know why he was assaulted.

He said driving the ice cream truck is how he makes a living, but because of his injuries, he can't do that anymore.

During the Facebook Live video, as the beating continues, no one tries to help. A man walks past Bah, who is lying on the ground injured, but he never stops to help.

Minutes later, a woman can be seen trying briefly to stop the attackers, but she also refuses to help Bah.

“Somebody at least could have came outside and tried to scare him away, anything,” neighbor Jocelyn Baymon said.

Bah said he moved to Memphis from West Africa to find a better way of life and support his family back home. Now that he cannot work, he says his bills are already stacking up. He said doctors think it could take months for him to recover.

“I have to pay almost $600 with the lights,” Bah said. “If I don't have and can't pay, they're going to put my stuff outside.”

If you know any of the men seen attacking Bah in the video, call police.
