While the world has been focusing on Daegu for World Athletics Champs, a bigger sports event is taking place in Africa. It is the African Olympics. The games officially kicked off yesterday in Maputo, and so far, South Africa has won 4 medals at least. Nigeria should normally hit the medals table soonest even though our stronger sports were 'omitted' by the organizers. Anyone with news or updates can post it here. I can confirm that Nigerian Female volleyball team has qualified for the semi final and one win from a sure medal. The male counterpart lost to Kenya in their opening match and have recovered with a win in their 2nd game. Nigeria's high medal hopes are in the Female sprints, Relay, Table tennis (Toriola/Merotoun still going strong), we have a few promising Boxers even though female boxing isnt allowed yet. BTW A promising female boxing talent to watch out for is Kehinde Obareh in the 60kg category. A very lovely lady who isnt being fully supported by Nigerian govt.
bigger? How much is the prize money? Let Nigeria show face ooo |
greenily, i think you should consider some other pattern or style, i really dont buy this idea of everyones house looking the same, right down to the interlocking blocks na wetin the gatemans house, pillars, same style roof, builders should offer more options |
I dont get it o, some people with multi-million naira house and his front drive before hos own gate will be an eyesore or even the paint for the fence na wetin sef? |
How much does someone in the UK needs to be earning (or have in savings) before being able to invite someone, comfortably a) a student friend B) a family member? |
^N25,000- N50000 if you are lucky, entry level what. pharmacist? |
OP You dont even have your full tuiton fees, Who will pay for your accommodation? Many international student always assume they will get a job immediately they register at university- very optimistic way of looking at it. You can end up six months without a part time job, how will you feed you wife and kid? beeman80:You want to use student earning to pay school fees and cater to your family, it is as if you are calculating the money into naira! |
How much is Land in Abeokuta, Ondo, Ilorin and Oyo selling for? 1-2 plots |

they believe you are trying to steal their brain or their 'wealth' You have to realise Nigerians are very superstitious! There are many things we do that we cant explain, funny thing is the elders wont tell you why you cant do this or do that they just tell you that's how we it is lol |
