The youtube videos of Koko the Gorilla are more touching. Especially the one about the loss of a kitten! |
Seychelles - beautiful beaches and amazing scenery. Would love to see an African sunset there. Gotta love the motherland! |
Weytin persin no go see for lagos road |
Tinyemeka: ... I'm just pissed that I can't install Opera mini yet. Opera mini 11 conflict with Maemo 5.I don't think there's any resounding effects of Opera 11. I have been running it smoothly for a while and haven't noticed any issues! BTW Ogunubi you should consider using 'Faster Application Manager'. if you are unaware of it sha. Its the easiest and most conveinient. |
I am currently using Opera 11 beta from extras repo and it would be better than Microb only if it had flash. Is opera 10 better than the 11 beta? Is phoneMe now stable for other jar apps and does it support more than a handfull apps? |
If you are a high-end user in movie editing, Apple has very good options. Also, there are fewer issues with drivers and updates. Apple manufacture their equipment but I think they are more expensive because of it's brand name. Am happy with windows and distance from anything apple because I have always gotten the same device with improved features for the same price. |
Fulaman198: Good girl, can you fulfill my foot fetish desires my dear? If so then we can marryThanks to this post. You will soon find a wife! lol @ Fulaman198 Aza is right! Being mean and verbal retaliation is extremely immature. None of us are perfect, so correct her instead. BTW HisRib seems quiet after those pics and article. |
His face has darkened but his nose hasn't changed complexion ![]() |
A few good examples is a good start. I just hope it's the I.G's policies (not only the individual officers) thats behind these improvements. |
Lawan is the scapegoat... The masterminds made sure that only him takes the blame. These people no dey fear God o! |
He should be assuring us of stable electricity first, right? My opinion; he is just toasting us the same way awon bois toast babes. Homeboy GEJ must be burning some highly classified spleef. Snoop Dog has probably been having sleep overs in Aso Rock. |
Regionalism will only empower and make the corrupt leaders untouchable! Nigeria's biggest problem is corruption in large scales. The first steps should involve finding ways to eradicate it. Anyaoku doesn't know whats happening in the Naija's government at all. |
Fulaman198: "... Why? Human beings are very imperfect, and will continue to be until they have truly and willingly chose to live their lives dedicated to God."Fulaman198 made a point but the quoted line still suggest socio psychological flaws. Billyonaire: Yet, African religion has not massively been hijacked for such killings like the days of Knight Templars, to present day terror wars et alThose were political invasions. The foundation of their principles was also surrounded by the need to capture the TEMPLE OF SOLOMON/MASJID AL AQSA. In both cases, religion has been used to justify human actions. While you may argue that African religions should be more recognised, you should also realise the negativities of their traditions (barbaric practices). At one point or the other, every religion generates extremists and I don't want to imagine extremists in African religions! |
Gorilla, whey run from bush, Enter Lagos, he enter bus, He miss road, oh yes He miss road (Fela) ![]() |
Billyonaire: With African Religions, Africa would have been better evolved because corrupt politicians would have been wiped out by the gods' spell. The rivalry have always been politically/socially infused. These religions have always been used as a cover up for unfortunate mis-doings. I believe they encourage the opposite of distruction, fighting, cheating and killing... |
The missionaries (Christian/Islamic) had a big influence obviously. However, I don't agree that they substituted our traditional practices. Over time we humans seem to become open to accepting changes and its all about choices in the end. Right from the early colonial days, there were western educated Africans who still practiced as their forefathers did. Actually there was a popular teacher in my school who was(or is. can't tell now)a big time 'hardcore' Ifa worshipper. It's like a natural cycle. Take the ancient Greeks for example, over many centuries, their God's have become more fictional. Same as our Sango, Amadioha etc. It is part of our nature to evolve in beliefs, question our practices and distance from barbarism (in religions where its a norm) |
It's not right to generalize all Nigerian men so negatively. There are spoiled eggs in every country! And your experience with the guys you know cannot represent everyone from Nig. More than 90% of us do not fall into those categories. As for marrying foreigners, I know a couple a Nigerian and Chinese couple that have been together happily for over 30yrs. Don't let wrong talks and fiction Nollywood movies cloud your judgement. Go only with people who match your personality! BTW Naija Guys can dance ooo. You must know some local/village bunch because you got that one TOTALLY wrong! |
Are there any backpackers here? I haven't met any 9ja backpacker but I will like to assume there are some out there. I know our ppl can be workaholics but it would be nice to hear experiences of hiking and travel adventures |
