To those who care to know, the car has long be sold, like few days after the post. I called the poster two weeks ago to confirm if it was still available.

I wonder why someone would give a general conclusion to a type of car simply because of some personal experiences. That a car is giving you a particular type of problem does not necessarily mean the same type of car is giving your neighbour the same problem except in some very clear cases and the manufacturer usually order a recall in such instances. Similarly, it will be very unsafe to conclude that Camry, Babyboy, EOD, Corolla, Maxima etc are the best cars around. Just try and hear from someone who had a reason to change his engine completely. It is even a common knowledge (or assumption?) that 'Babyboys' usually have transmission problem. Yet it is regularly advertised and sold on this same forum.

Though I stand to be corrected, I am yet to see the big difference between the Golf and Bora/Jetta. Till tomorrow people are still buying Golf, yes I mean already registered and used (popularly called 2nd hand in 9ja).

My take nothing is wrong with Bora/Jetta if it is well maintained - same applies to Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Human Beings self.

How come this car was posted as sold here at about the time I called the poster and he told me the owner was not yet willing to release it for inspection for some personal reasons? I should have bought this ride, poster you know this!!!
