Application for Bachelor's Degree and Diploma Programmes (2012/22013 Session)

2012/2013 Application into Bachelor's Degree (Nursing Science) and Diploma Programmes has commenced.Bachelor Degree Programme: (BNSc. Nursing)
Diploma Programmes: (Music, Dramatic Arts, PHE, Conservation Science and Tourism, Fine Arts, Yoruba Studies)
Certificate Programmes: (French Language, Portuguese Language, Non Degree Certificate in Gender Studies, Post Graduate Certificate in Gender Studies).

Admission Requirements

Bachelor Degree Programme (Nursing Science)
Nursing Applicants must be Nurses registered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (RN/RPN/RM/RPHN etc)
Applicants must possess West African School Certificate/GCE (or Equivalents) with Credits in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language. Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
Candidates shall be invited for written entrance examination and interview.
Diploma Programme
Candidates applying for any of the Diploma Programmes (with the Exception of Diploma in Education) must have passes in five (5) relevant subjects at credit level including English Language, at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE), NECO.
However, Candidates applying for Diploma in Education must have passes in any four (4) relevant subjects at credit level including English Language in SSCE, GCE, and NECO. Credit in Mathematics is also required for Science or merit/credit in four (4) relevant subjects of TC II including English Language

Certificate Programmes
Applicants for admission into the Non-degree Certificate Programme must have at least OND or NCE certificate. However, school certificate holders who have acquired enough experience working on development issues (minimum of two years) will also be considered for the Programme. Applicants for the Post Graduate Certificate Course in Gender Studies must have a university degree from an approved University

Duration
Bachelor of Nursing Science Programme is for five Academic Sessions, each of the Diploma Programmes lasts for two Academic Sessions

Method of Application
Applicants are to pay the predscribed application fees through any of the followin banks: Skye Bank, First Bank or UBA on eTranzact Network. (Application fee for Diploma and Certificate Programmes is N10,000.00 while the application fee for Bachelor Degree Programme is N12,500)

Important
Applicants are advised to make payments personally and obtain the eTranzact receipts at any of the designated banks. duke95 what you need to know about cdl is that they do not release the supplementary list you are expecting what they do is that the deadline given to admitted students is what they will collect and issue to those students that have submitted request for admission and who are ready to pay their school fee because the assumption is that if you are given admission within now and 10 of October 2012 you are expected to ought to have paid anything short of that the admission will be forfeited.

The issue is that I have never come here to call myself an administrator in CDL neither did I tell anyone in this forum that I am the one in charge of their admission but what I am saying is that not all candidates that score above the cut-off marks will eventually pay for the program due to one reason or the other,on this basis THE CENTRE FOR DISTANCE LEARNING has to fill up the gap by welcoming a request from different quarters but students need to be very careful of those set of human being that will come on this forum to say one or two things about this issue of admission request.I will employ anyone that is bold enough to take the risk of doing it by themselves by trying to make contact of any influential person they know.The truth is that if you score above 40% you can still be considered for admission.Best of luck to all awaiting admitted students as the registration of new intake may likely slated for second week of November.@ FJJC 08130400451

You can check for your admission letter via using your username and password and more so oaucdl will also send each and everyone that score above the cut-off marks admission letter notice at least by tomorrow onward students will start download their admission letter and other details concerning the programme such as school fee.

I want to use this opportunity to tell those that score below the cut-off marks that they can place admission request as soon as possible because there are still room for such,I mean those that score above 40% but their marks fall short say 1,2,3 to 4 marks.Please do not flash my number. @ 08130400451

This piece of information goes to all CMP combination in the house.Record has shown that the cut-off marks for this combination over the years is the lowest on this basis one should not expect something greater than what was the case last year that is 40%.
