Yes
Buni is right

Everybody in Ondo state knows ABENA and Agboola are fighting for their own interest, Luy kana will counter Abena influence, Agboola is the only one I’m worried about, he’s strong with the PDP factor; PDP is much stronger in Ondo state( courtesy of Agagu chop I chop type of government) than it is in Edo

As at now, any party can win Ondo State but APC stands a edge with the federal power though only if APC with the federal might Didnt pick Aketi.

Any attempt to adopt Aketi then APC and the federal government should brace up for en masse votes they won’t be able to rig .

Any candidate with Ibo wife or family or in-laws
Ondo people don’t want
Any government of me and my family, Ondo people don’t want
Any what will happen if I use my son as SSG or COS, Ondo state people don’t want
Any government of allowing outsider execute State projects or manage the state resources, Board of internal revenue generation, Ondo state people don’t want

Mimiko commission several projects in his 100 days. He was a performer if not for his last 2 years deadly cunning games and underestimating people you wrong.
Ondo state people don’t want Aketi.
The 4 years he has enriched his family is enough,
Let another man come in with no Ibo affiliation and do abeg

Aketi should go and drink garri with his 4 years. 4 years is good for him
Ondo people that I know get stronghead o, if APC with this cabal arrangements try shit in their primary they are gunner.

Frankdaz9:
we know yoruba consist of core arrewa Muslims and Christian cohabiting together, whether the cohabitation is peaceful or hostile can not be established with much certainty.

We are aware of prof Ishaq Akintola of MURIC and his stance on yoruba Muslims right. We are equally aware of Yoruba Christian minority continue quest for survival despite subjugations from muslim counterpart.

practically, are Yoruba's divided along religious line? lets discuss this and know the extent of religious tolerance in yoruba land.

SCOPES OF DISCUSSION

Why can't a yoruba Christian family give out their daughter to yoruba Christian for marriage?

Why are Oyo, Lagos and Ogun governors always Muslims instead of Christian?

Why are prominent yoruba Christians being attacked by yoruba Muslim extremists e.g Sowore, Jimi Agbaje, Prof Soyinka, Fayose, Sowore ( disgraced, insulted, abandoned and tagged ijaw by Muslims)

Why is yoruba Muslim MURIC determined to propagate Islamic agenda in yorubaland.

LETS DISCUSS MATUREDLY, NO INSULTS

You are saying people should not insult you, but you have curse yourself and your entire generation for bringing up this kind of topic. Evil doer.

ugo4u:
A document that contains a comprehensive list of major donors for the construction of Sam Mbakwe airport in present day Imo state, as posted by Sam Hart, this is the only airport in Nigeria and the west African region to be built by the people. It is worthy of note that this was done barely 13years after the fraticidal Civil war that almost wiped out the economic power of the then eastern region. Honestly, the resilience, never die spirit and industry of the Igbo man ought to be studied and replicated across Nigeria. I buy into the school of thought that the Igbos have the key to unlock the economic potential of Nigeria.

This is a great piece of history. May our names be in the good books just like Mordecai when history is revisited.

Then let all bury our differences and come together as one people. If Igbo is seeking for presidency, they must assure everybody of good governance that devoid of nepotism.

Politics / Direct Or Indirect Primary Election In Ondo State (APC) by fjjc(m): 5:47pm On Jun 30, 2020
My question concerning direct or indirect primary election is that, most of incumbent governors fear direct primary election in a state where they control all the machineries of government. Why? Is it as a result of poor performance or bad treatment of party members in their states? As per APC in particular, why most of their governors fear direct primary election in a state they govern. Must they run to Abuja to seek one favour or the other concerning primary election in a state they control. Please, audience your contribution.

afrika4real:
THE BETRAYED STRUGGLE.

Those who arrested and sentenced Isaac Adaka Boro to death for declaring Niger Delta Republic were neither Hausa-Fulanis nor Yorubas but two supposed brothers of his and Biafrans named Odumegwu Ojukwu and Aguiyi Ironsi who were still on the side of Gambaris and still trying to please them as at then. For declaring Niger-Delta Republic Ironsi, the then military head of state, ordered Ojukwu to get Isaac Boro arrested for treason.

Ojukwu, in an attempt to please Gambaris, fought Isaac Boro for 14 days within which he used federal might of “one-Nigeria” to kill 150 soldiers loyal to Isaac Boro, caught Isaac Boro, stripped him naked and sent him over to Lagos where Ironsi charged him to court and within just 2 months got him convicted, at the Supreme Court, of treasonable felony of trying to break away from Azikiwe’s one Nigeria, got him sentenced to death by hanging.

However, before Ojukwu and Ironsi could execute their sentence on Isaac Boro God intervened and the counter coup happened. Ironsi was overthrown and killed. Gowon took over declared Isaac Boro innocent and released him. But just fifteen months later Ojukwu too declared Biafra Republic due to the way Igbos were being killed in the North. In declaring Biafra, rather than first apologise to Isaac Boro for what he earlier did to him and then ask for his cooperation in fighting to realize the Biafra dream, Ojukwu did nothing like that but without consulting Boro at all went as far as including in Biafra map the very Niger Delta areas which Isaac Boro earlier tried to pull out of Nigeria and which he (Ojukwu) nearly killed him for.

This angered Isaac Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa who both pledged support for Gowon in order to teach Ojukwu a bitter lesson for his dishonesty. That was why Isaac Boro and Saro Wiwa fought on the side of Gowon during the war. Naturally Isaac Boro couldn’t have come out of prison to join the Ojukwu who jailed him and fight against the Gowon who released him. It would have been absurd.

Shaving children hair and killing animal as a sacrifice on behalf of the baby is a popular pegan pre-Islamic practice.

Muhammad/Islam adopted the practice with little modifications

1. Muslim kill the animal on the seventh day after birth
2. Muslim don't stain the head of the baby with the blood of the animal like the pegan use to do.

Summary

It is a culture that Muhammad met in his community and adopted into his religion. But many today's Muslim do not know and they are not ready to modernise their Islam to suit the current century because they are afraid of hell fire. Maybe they think their God is brutal

Politics / Rivers APC Seeks Giadom's Expulsion by fjjc(m): 4:11pm On Jun 23, 2020
Rivers APC seeks Victor Giadom’s expulsion, gets new court order

Victor Giadom: another court order bans him as member of APC

Rivers State All Progressives Congress went for the expulsion from the party of Victor Giadom, the pretender to the APC throne in Abuja.

Despite another court order restraining caretaker chairman, Igo Aguma, some party members in the state got a fresh injunction today against Giadom.

The court order given by Justice C. Nwogu of the Rivers High Court, bars Giadom from parading himself as a member or officer of the party.

It means the suspension handed over to Giadom on Sunday by the party is no longer enough.

The party wants to totally ex-communicate him from APC.

Nwogu in giving the order said: An order of interim injunction is hereby made restraining the third defendant from parading himself as an officer or member or exercising any right or privilege accruable to members….”

The court said that having been suspended by the State Executive Committee (SEC) of APC, Mr Giadom should not participate in the activities of the party pending determination of the substantive case.

The case was filed by Okechukwu Chidor Ogbonna and Mac-Lords Peterson against APC Rivers chapter; its acting chairman, Igo Aguma; Giadom and Golden Chioma in Port Harcourt.

Justice Nwogu has adjourned the case till 9 July 9 for further hearing.

Politics / Re: Giadom: A Fresh Primary Will Be Conducted In Edo by fjjc(m): 7:35pm On Jun 22, 2020
[quote author=Nemere2020 post=90958574]Victor Giadom, a chieftain of the All Progressives Party (APC) who had declared himself as the acting national chairman of the party, says the governorship primary election in Edo state is illegal.

Although Giadom had insisted he is the acting chairman of the party following the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole, Worgu Boms, a former attorney-general of Rivers state, was sworn in to replace Giadom in his position in the national working committee (NWC) of the party.

While a high court of the federal capital territory (FCT) reaffirmed Giadom as the acting national chairman of the party, another high court in Rivers state restrained him from parading himself as such.

Osagie Ize-Iyamu was declared winner in the primary conducted in the state on Monday, but speaking through Oluwole Afolabi, his lawyer, Giadom said a fresh primary will be conducted in the state.

“Our attention has been drawn to the illegal exercise carried out by lackeys of the suspended chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole in Edo state today,” the statement read.

“The exercise was not authorized by the acting national chairman of the APC, Chief Victor Giadom and as such it is illegal and futile.

“The acting national chairman of the party, Chief Victor Giadom will announce to the members of the public when the stage is set for the conduct of the authentic gubernatorial primaries of the APC in Edo state.”

Giadom had called for the cancellation of the APC screening exercise that disqualified Godwin Obaseki, governor of Edo who had since defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ize-Iyamu is believed to have the backing of Oshiomhole.

Cockerels take 4-6 Months to mature for consumption or sales. You don't need to raise Cockerels for a year. If you feed your cockerels well, they can achieve table size in 5 Months. So you can raise Cockerels twice a year. To maximize your funds, you can focus on raising the White cockerel. It is much cheaper when you purchase them at a week old or day old. However, the price is the same with spotted Cockerels when you are selling them. I have experience in raising Chickens because my late father owned a Poultry up till 2010. You can also make your own feed by yourself. Do some research online. You can save a lot of money by making your own feed by yourself. There are feed millers all over Lagos State. I have attached the picture of the white cockerel to this post. Have a great day.

Politics / Re: North Was About To Secede From Nigeria But Were Reminded Of The Oil In The East by fjjc(m): 1:20pm On Jun 12, 2020
kingzizzy:
Do you know that the Northern Region of Nigeria was about to secede and declare Arewa Republic on the 1st of August 1966 when they were reminded of the vast Oil wealth in the Eastern Region? They then changed tune and decided to go for one united Nigeria as long as Nigeria was under their control.

On July 29th 1966, Lt Col Murtala Mohammed led young Northern military officers such as Lt Sani Abacha, Lt Ibrahim Babangida, Lt Muhammadu Buhari, Lt Garba Duba, Lt Jeremiah Useni and many others to stage a coup. The aim of the coup was to achieve two objectives. First was to avenge the previous coup that had been dubbed an "Igbo coup". The second objective was for the North to secede from Nigeria. The code name for this coup was "operation araba"(operation seperate)

Having staged the coup and murdered over 300 Igbo officers including the head of state, General Ironsi, Murtala Mohammed and his fellow coup plotters felt that the first objective had been achieved. Now they moved to secede the North out of Nigeria. On the 30th of July, Murtala Mohammed and the ring leaders of the coup took over Ikeja baraks and made it their operational base. They hoisted a strange looking flag at the main entrance to the baracks which they said would be the flag of the Republic of Northern Nigeria. They took over Lagos Airport and were putting finishing touches to flying themselves and their families out of Lagos to Kaduna where they would be met by the Military Governor of the Northern Region, Lt Colonel Katsina. They would then declare Arewa Republic on the 1st of August 1966.

The Chief of General Staff, Brigadier Ogundipe, sent Lt Col Gowon, who was at the time the Chief Of Army Staff and the most senior officer from the North, to mediate with the coup plotters in Ikeja Barak. Murtala Mohammed flatly rejected any form of mediation and informed Gowon that he had been in touch with all the traditional rulers and stakeholders in the North and they had all unanimously agreed that the North should pull out of the Nigerian Federation. Gowon reported back to Ogundipe. Ogundipe sent Gowon back to Ikeja Baraks a second time to convince the coup plotters to drop their secessionist plans and bring their grievances to the table. This time around, Murtala Mohammed lost his patience with Gowon and had him detained. He told Gowon that that he be would be flying with them to Kaduna where he would join them to declare secession of the North, and that all that remained was to inform the British authorities of what was about to happen.

The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Sir David Hunt, was contacted on the phone and made aware of the plans of the North to secede, he protested vehemently against it. He told Murtala Mohammed and his fellow coupists that the North could not survive without the South because the economic base of Nigeria was in the South. The coup plotters were still insistent on the North seceding stating that the agricultural potential of the North was enough to sustain it. Sir David Hunt then revealed to the coup plotters that with the huge deposits of Oil and gas in the Eastern Region and the projected rise in Oil prices, the Eastern Region was about to reap huge profits that would far outweigh the agricultural production of the North. He told them that if they seceded now, they would be denying the North a good slice of those oil profits. He suggested to them that rather than secede, they should take over Nigeria.

On realising the Oil fortune they were about to deny themselves, the tune changed to "one Nigeria". Gowon, who was the highest ranking Northerner, was chosen to become Head of State. Rather than declare Arewa Republic on August 1st 1966, Gowon was sworn in instead. Gowon would go on to act the script of the North by removing resource control, placing Oil production in the hands of the federal government, abolishing the Regions and giving the North the most states and local governments, to ensure that the North benefited most from the Oil money.
This is the truth. In all fairness, if Azikwe agreed to Awolowo proposal we would not have been where we are today. The Nothern Oligachy exist in Nigeria, but the table has turned already as Nigeria is on verge of disintegration. IPOB is the verge of securing their Biafra state. On this is done, Nigeria state is gone.
