I like some of the things I've been reading here..
"Arsenal need a sugar Daddy or football loving owners who are ready to invest heavily...
Arsenal fans are tired of mediocrity and keep hoping upon hoping each year...
Arterta is a mediocre coach, Europa trophy or not, he should be relived off his job
Xhaka and Chambers are bad both offensively and defensively and should be part of future plans..
Teams above us are not relenting and Arsenal could become so irrelevant and midtabled...
Arterta has issues but the players are not to be trusted for any progress or process. |

Roland17: Arteta na copy! copy!!
This is pretty much the same tactic/ formation Pep used against PSG yesterday and quit. The idea behind this tactic is to hold possession, create a lot of movement and remain fluid from the middle to the final third. The difference is we don't create enough and Villareal are just as good with retaining the ball.

Jodera: I don't think this is exactly correct. Almost everyone knows that this season is rubbish and Arteta Fv**kd up well but we hoping to win the Europa league does not mean that we'll turn a blind eye to how this season panned out. We just hoping the season would be a foundation for something better as well as having a European trophy.
If we continue in this rate, time will come na only disappear we go disappear from league Only you know yourself, The White fans will be overjoyed and will suddenly see the coach and players as heroes. Time will tell, let's wait and see sha. |

Arsenal would probably win the Europa and almost everyone will be fine and turn a blind eye to this rubbish season...
An ambitious FC would analyse and be aggressively proactive ahead of next year.
First step into greatness was the Kroenke out campaign, I'm in full support, A new owner who loves football and can review the season in full.
Arterta and half the squad are have no future here if Arsenal is to get better.
The least I'm asking for is a team good at playing beautiful attacking football, creating chances and free of erratic players gifting opposition goals. |

1- Aston Villa beat Arsenal at home for the first time in 92 years
2- Leicester City beat Arsenal at home for the first in 47 years
3- Wolves beat Arsenal at home for the first time in 41 years
4- Burnley beat Arsenal at home for the first time in 46 years

The likes of Azeez, Balogun, etc added to Saka, ESR, Martinelli and Co can form the spine of our new club. Even if they don't make it within the next season, they will surely pull through.

iamoyindamola: 1... We'll have that European trophy that has always eluded us. Not champions league I know, but then we won't say we don't have any European trophy What happen afterwards
2... The thoughts of losing this Europa will kill all the confidence of everyone entering into next season. And to even get any player now will be difficult for us cos we're not in any competition (for next season) Let it kill us even i want us to relegate the whole club should start all over we have too many useless and unfortune souls running this club, the players and even the manager they are all for money. Anyone that was involve in william purchase should be fired too
3.. The Europa league winning can act as a springboard to success (if we can use it wisely) instead of actually papering over the cracks. Arteta can be more confident in implementing his tactics and plans and he'll also have the confidence of the board to back him. He knows this squad is not good enough (he's been subtly saying it in press conference most times). So this Europa league will surely give him that edge to buy his players, if he has any. It can't and won't,we won fa cup last season it went from bad to worse for us Exactly my points especially that point no2 I subtly want spurs to win a big trophy and taunt Arsenal fans in London, that's the only thing that can hurt our oyinbo fans.. UK fans seems okay with what's happening except Spurs winning something big. Point3...Fans will be so overjoyed that they'll believe Abd have high hopes for next season, the board will bring in a Big name player just to excite the fans and everything will go down south next season. |

Jodera: I truly understand your thoughts, and you're right about us being a mid table team due to our league standing.
But then, winning this Europa league will do us a whole lot of good than bad.
1... We'll have that European trophy that has always eluded us. Not champions league I know, but then we won't say we don't have any European trophy I get your point, but I'm much interested in what will follow i.e next season.
2... The thoughts of losing this Europa will kill all the confidence of everyone entering into next season. And to even get any player now will be difficult for us cos we're not in any competition (for next season) If Arsenal is a serious club, Europe or no Europe, the club can still rise, but I'm not confident, utd and some teams once rose up from mid table.
Tho I know you don't believe in Arteta cos he's a rookie coach and inexperienced at top level but I (my opinion) just believe with his better players and his players cutting out basic mistakes, we can compete for top 4. But all that will be easy to do if we win the Europa.
If we don't win it, I'm afraid even to invest in this squad will not happen and we'll be sliding down and down the table. Arsenal fc will not back Arterta in a way to bag top4..BTW, Arterta himself seems pleased with 70% of the squad because majority are either his signings, retained and extended their contract. I've seen some fans singing Xhaka's praise like he is a Zidane, some can't even wait to have Luiz back, some defend and trust Auba on the Wing like a Neymar. Whearas only Saka and Tierney and maybe few others have looked UCL material. |

Jodera: I get hot premium tears to cry sha if that time comes, so no problem. But I just have this faintest belief we might Nick it, and I'm just possibly hoping on that 1% chance And everyone will feel happy and say Arsenal is bag in UCl, Arterta is the man, the squad is good etc, The board will then do another media hype marquee signing in the summer, only for everything to fall yakata next season with series of painful teary moments( cos fans hope go don rise like it did earlier in the season after the Fa cup and preseason trophy). Koko be say, we can't patch mediocrity for long, the league is the true test of a team, and Mid table seems to be where Arsenal are ATM. Arsenal FC need major surgery from board to the players |

ndidibabe: Of Course, I am. But this just show how pathetic a Club as big as Arsenal has turned. The fans are happy to have drawn West ham while they are 10th on the league? I am happy that my hubby care less of Arsenal result these days. What a hopeless club! Then, Auba is another Ozil. Very shambolic and lazy. Can’t hold the ball nor make a reasonable pass. If he doesn’t get any chance, he’s essentially redundant as a player. I’ve never been the biggest fan of him as a player, goals aside he offers nothing to Arsenal. Pep will never line this guy up in his first team. It's hard to criticise him cus he scores so many goal but the truth is that he lacks finesse. My stance on Auba since 2018. |

iamoyindamola: We keep blaming others for leno's mistake, martinez also kept under ebening with same useless claimed defenders. After xhaka leno tops the error leading to goal for arsenal but instead we will find blame push to the players. Na here we they na abi no be leno again we go soon blame arsene wengay for his mistake I also prefer Martinez to Leno, Leno's best attribute is stopping long range shots and fans get excited by that a lot, but for me ability to organize, give defenders calmness and confidence and avoiding erratic displays tops it for me and Martinez is good at that. However, I won't blame Leno for Xhaka's and Ceballos mistakes. I don't know if its the coach's job or the personnel, persistent errors leading to goals has been Arsenal's mark. And for me, its even worse when its coming from experienced professionals, little wonder the youngsters in defensive areas at Arsenal are not that much exciting. |
