Imagine a Busquet in that situation, he'll turn and still shield the ball, Even Jerry will rather fall and win a foul, but Xhaka is never the type to trust in tight situations.

Now, if Leno isn't trusting his players, then there's a big problem.

I said it few weeks ago, Xhaka will always be Xhaka, that few good performance shouldn't mask who he is, but fans are too optimistic and forget easily, which serious FC or coach retains such player costing your team that much?

Xhaka the longest serving and main man in that midfield is a sorry case, anyways, Arterta and the fans putting faith on him drserve the pains

He is primarily a poacher and plays off the shoulder of the last man.Infact he is the true definition of a goal poacher.When the team is playing well he will score lots of goals but when the team is playing badly his poor ability on the ball is massively exposed.Due to the fact that he doesn’t like to get involved in build up play that much and always waiting for that one opportunity this is what is usually translated as laziness as seen usually on bad days for Arsenal



Aubameyang is similar to Ozil. They approach games the same way. Just like Ozil whose weapon were his final balls and assists, Abumeyang only weapon is his goal scoring exploit. He is our fastest player but he barely runs on the field. Soon when the goals start drying, he will become as useless as Ozil. He is another fraud waiting to happen. If we really are serious we should be doing everything to keep Laca.

arteta really fall my hand yesterday, that second half in that man city game was screaming for the introduction of smith rowe and martinelli




in other notes, aubameyang, laca, bellerin, Pepe and eleny should not be in our starting 11 if we want to be a big team again.


finally arteta decision making is one of his greatest weakness. for the fact that week in week out, arteta keep selecting willain, willock and nkeitah over nelson, martinelli and balogun should be a major concern to the board that this man has poor tatse for players

Artetta stooped playing them few months ago, and even the ones he replaced with haven't moved any mountain, safe for Saka.

Most of these players are average at best and Arterta isn't ready yet for big stage, he needs to tow the line of Henri by starting with a Boneumouth and Norwich IMHO.

For we to move forward, we need to let go of auba and lacazette. Auba is damn average. If he's not scoring, he's not doing anything. Poor touch at any slight of pressure, can't interplay effectively.

It's really sad seeing that only Saka seeks to bd only one that can take on players. The rest seems to give this sideways and back pass. Even Pepe that normally beats his man is now damn afraid.
This is so so bad.

Odegaard disappointed me. Seems to give more back passes than forward or creative passes. And even wen he does the few forward passes on few occasions, he either underhit it or overhit it. Very average display from him.

Tierney didn't play well, but then, I believe that he's match rusty. Aside for his unusual disappointing crosses and display, I can see his effort he puts in. Tried to be attacking and also tries to beat his man.

Holding and Mari really really tried. Aside from the goal which holding switched off, they both put in commanding displays.

Why Arteta doesn't see it fit to be playing martinelli is what is mind-boggling. We needed his energy in this game as our forward of pepe and Auba was lacking that energy and urgency. He should be seeing more of first team than what he's presently seeing (that's if he's even seeing at all)

Xhaka and elneny... Average at forward play, creative passes and transitioning play quickly. For arsenal to move forward so many players need to be sub players or loaned/sold.

Barring the defence, only Saka deserves any mention in that midfield and attack for today's game

For me it’s more of personnel than manager, and flushing half of the squad is not feasible at least knowing the club u support.

We need to fine tune our midfield up to attack.
We don’t see those movements on and off the ball like we used to during Wenger particularly in build up to a goal. Accurate passes in tight spaces, quick interchange, lightning fast 1-2 passes in the opponent’s 18-yard box etc.
reason I was of the opinion of recruiting heavily on midfield and attack as it would even shield out defence ish. As u can see today’s game and many other games this season we’ve been let down more by our inability to score goals and open up tight defenses.

Too many average players have been the bane of this club for a long time now. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result or a sudden miracle.

Most of our players are so average and wouldn’t even get into the starting eleven of top clubs. The manager, the board, the owner are aware of this. But they keep persisting with them for reasons best known to them or probably they get blinded by a few good performances.
I will prefer to watch a team of youngsters giving their best than these over hyped, over paid players. If we don’t change our recruitment strategy and keep hoping that our average players suddenly become world beaters, I’m afraid the club is/would be heading in a downward spiral.
