Afternoon flakestar, pls...my lovely skin decided to go on vacation earlier this year, and I tried bringing it back by using various product all to no avail.
Instead, I got pimples, black heads, dull and dry skin.
So, I stopped everything, I started using dudu osun with coconut oil.
My skin moisturized thou, my face became manageable with makeup. But the black heads refuse to go. It just keep on multiplying sef.
So, day b4 yest, that was on Thursday, I decided to go to a beauty shop for body cream, I don't wanna look like this during the festive season.
I was given
1) White Care Gold for body and face cream/moisturizer.
2) K Brothers soap for my face.
3) Asantee papaya soap for my body.
4) Pharmaderm tube cream for my pimples and blackhead.
So far, haven't seen any difference... nothing changed at all. I don't know if I'm on the right track or there is any other thing I can add or corrections.
Anything at all to get my yellowish gold, pimples & blackhead free face and body back.
Pls help a sister ooooo.

You need to give the products time to work, 2days is rather soon to judge the efficacy of the products, let's watch for 2weeks please.
You can add a Turmeric+Cinammon +honey +lemon mask to your regimen; make a small batch of paste and apply to your face and neck region every other night for 2weeks leave on for 10mins wash off wash off and moisturise.(go easy on the lemon)

I think the black soap might be too strong for your skin type you can use a mild mild moisturising soap like Dove, Nivea, Olay etc to restore your skin and remove the wrinkles. Drink a lot of water and oil your skin wet to ensure you lock in the moisture.

Sorry for the late response. Pleas post your full regimen here first, I noticed you didn't state the products you are using and when you use them. How, what and how often do you exfoliate?what cream, soap, serum etc do you use? Where are you based?*08022224723

I have never used it but if you go through the thread Dr. 90 prescribed it to a number of folks and no one complained of adverse reactions

Durentt, how much acne are we talking about here? A lot or just random ones? Essentially for all you can get a Facial Treatment done,use USA black face soap, use a Cleanser/toner with Witch Hazel to close those pores, use a product with Tea tree oil(Dr Organic or Beauty formula) as the main ingredient and moisturise lightly

Please is it safe to use only serum(qei+) on my face without mixing it with the cream? But I use a mixture of the lotion and serum on my body.
Note: I don't go under sun. The few times I do, I use nothing on my body.
Also, please recommend a good sunscreen for me.

I have seen folks use serums directly on their skin but I have my reservations about it essentially because serums are concentrated oils formulated to add the oomph to your lotions and creams. It may work fast but most likely with dire consequences on the long run. Please don't especially because apart from sun burns you can actually suffer from chemical burns too.
Sunscreen- you can use Disaar, Ocean Secret or Biobalance

Nice write up! I am into organic skin care and from experience one of the most important this to note is that there are different causes of stretch marks and sometimes the cure if any depends on the cause.
I suggest that before you embark on a cure find the cause first; sometimes just stopping weight fluctuation is all you need

@flakestar please do you think I can still mix Shea butter and Ami white together cos of the hydroquinon in the serum ?

Hydroquinone is alright in small doses(no more than 2% , you will still be fine if you mix a bit and use it for a little while, for most people hydroquinone based kicks off their lightening phase but maintenance is done with much milder and safer products. You can do the same.

Natural Exfoliating facial scrub
Ingredients  

Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
Sugar – 1½ tablespoons
Honey – 2 tablespoons
Method    

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Scrub well for almost 2 minutes in circular motion. As soon as your skin feels fresh and clean, rinse off with water
2. Buy Epsom salt; any store worth its sort carries it and pour in a bath tub full of water and soak in it for about 30mins
It will help prep your skin for the new journey.
For your full body exfoliation you can use Asantee spa salt; they come in several variants.

Use the serum at nights only cos they increase your tendency to burn when used during the day.
As much as I understand your phobia for masks and cleansers maybe due to past experiences or info from others you need not be afraid you can make a mask all by yourself in your kitchen! Exfoliation is key in your lightening journey infact until you add it to your regimen you won't see marked results. Also, you might want to try an Epsom bath prior to starting QEI
Finally QEI requires patience.

55H+ is made by the makers of QEI+ and they are reputed to work just like QEi+, some folks claim they are stronger than QEI+ but all in all good product, lightens safely but it is not as readily available as QEI+ at least in the last 3weeks. They also have their Serum, soap, tube etc

d soap is not gud for long term

For the record, Dodo range is very strong but because the soap gets washed off the skin immediately( this does not apply to folks who leave soaps on for ages even overnight) it does not do damage but I tell my customers who use exfoliants to alternate with a mild soap and then go back so the product stays effective so for eample. If your skin is dull you can use one bar of Dodo soap and once it's finished you can use a mild milk soap so you don't overexfoliate and the back to Dodo; the cycle continues
