As a gay man, I never asked to be born that way, being gay transcends sex which is what most homophobe sways to when they hear the word gay, it's pure love.... Case point : Tyler and Jacobi are a disabled gay couple who've been together for 15 years, due to their disability, they've never had sex throughout their relationship.... That's love, not material or physical but sadly Nigerians don't know what it is and only see marriage for companionship and a way to continue their line.
You can make your own personal research on human sexuality, read books, the world isn't as black and white as you think. I just wish there were more safe space for men to share theirs but the shame derails them away. For me, It was a difficult rollercoaster before I could be free to share mine mostly because I joined a support group for men who've been raped and for the first time, I felt I was at home to share mine,some of the men there have been defiled by housemaids when younger or women in lust and some by men and it has left a ripple imprint on their personality, their ego, masculinity and life in general. Since the world will laugh at them when they share their story and the cops don't care except it's a woman, they formed their own family and we are really close knit.
I implore men who've been raped to create their own support group even if it's online, it really helps much more like a brotherhood without judgment
