Politics / Re: Yoruba Culture And Tradition Makes It Very Difficult For The Youths To Rise by Flatinos: 11:46am On Feb 07, 2021
[s]
kovic20:
Recent fracas between Oni of Ife and Igboho is all you need to know that it will be very difficult for Yoruba youths or younger generation to rise against injustice in their land. They need the blessing of their spiritual or traditional rulers to embark on such adventure. If the ruler says NO or cannot be done that way, despite urgency of the matter, the youths have no choice but to abide.

Any attempt to break away and call out the incompetency of the traditional rulers will have them vilified and possibly ostracized by the Yoruba majority. In essence, this what has played out between Igboho and Oni of Ife. All Igboho did was to call out the incompetence of the traditional leaders in solving the Fulani crises and he was dragged across until he apologized. Apologized for what? For speaking the truth? The takeaway from the fracas is Yoruba youths or younger generation need the blessing of their traditional rulers to embark on any existential offense against an impending enemy which is very dangerous.

To the contrary in the East, the Igbo tradition is far different which makes it very easy for them to rise or revolt without the imput or permission of their traditional rulers. Igbo tradition allows for the youths or majority to revolt, insult or even beat to pauper an elder if he is in wrong, and other elders will not say anything; that is how sacred truth is to the Igbos. That's why Nnamdi Kanu insults them, they may be pained but they know the Igbo tradition allows that so long as Nnamdi Kanu is right and fighting a just cause.

Nnamdi Kanu was able to hijack the whole security of the entire SE without the traditional rulers or elders' imput and permission, with just having the majority behind him, that can never happen in Yorubaland.

Politics / Re: Fulanis’ Plan To Bastardise & Take Over Nigeria Shared.. by Flatinos: 11:04am On Feb 07, 2021
Naijabad:
I have said it before and I will say it again, it is time Igbos and Yorubas come together and fight this menace called fulanis.

Other tribes are looking up to The Igbos and the Yorubas to unite all other ethnic groups in the country.

Fulanis want your lands, that is what they have been planning hundreds of years ago.

Do not believe whatever anybody tells you. The fulanis are here to conquer you and make your children and children's children slaves.

Do you want that? I ask again, is that what you want?
Igbos and Yorubas, idomas and ijaws, itsekiris and Biroms, it is time to form a self defence force. If you unite, you will survive.

Lol unite you say?

That will only happen when you stop Land-grabbing

The habit of humiliating royal father's in the south by officers from the north has been going on for centuries! Babangida once sent soldiers to destroy a palace in Rivers State where the locals who had issues with the army ran to for safety. There is no respect whatsoever for the traditional institutions in the south by northerners but the same notherners will be desperately brandishing their worn out traditional rulers as god-sent "blue bloods" that must be worshiped. I think that protests can't solve this problem. The North won't learn! The best way to send a strong message about this is for a Southerner in office to find a very inventive way to thoroughly humiliate say the sultan of Sokoto or the emir of Kano! Set him up as a supporter of violent herdsmen, get him arrested in the typical Nigerian police method and bring him to court only in his worn-out dirty boxers on the back of and old Police pick up.. That's the only way this will stop..

You said South? Na those only happen to Ibo in Ibo land.
When shit happens against you ibos you lots try to rally the South to your side but if it's against others you count yourselves out.

You can say all you want today but when the chips are down we know the true owners of Nigeria.
1. Nnamdi Azikiwe And the Sessionist clause: So an Igbo man put up the secessionist clause that keeps Nigeria together up till this day.

2. Ironsi and the decree 34 that installed a centralised Government...Whenever they mock Igbos I laugh really hard, you will be match to the Igbos the day you match with our past, the hands of Azikiwe and Ironsi still piloting Nigeria and you tell me Igbos are to be played with...

All the tribes in Nigeria abiding by our setting, isn't that wonderful lol

Still piloting you Flatin0s to 5th class citizens cheesy
