Politics / Re: AMCON: Kunle Adegoke Mocks Ben Murray-Bruce For ‘Skinning Nigerians Alive’ by flerKys(f): 9:31am On Jun 24, 2016
Well, the Kunle Adegoke person is obviously ignorant. Businesses go through difficulties everywhere in the world. It's almost like saying you'll never fall ill. The issue is how prepared you are for unexpected challenges in business. Unless the man has borrowed money to squander personally he has to be given credit for running a business and employing people gainfully for over 30 years. He was in business long before I graduated from university in the early 80s. That's a feat that most ignorant people don't appreciate. Not quite the same as milking money off people by running a scam business or government contracts.

COPIED

Labour is spoiling for a fight over fuel price increase. Meanwhile what the Government said was "any entity can now import fuel subject to product quality and standard regulations". Instead of their usual irrational resort to industrial strike, I think Organised Labour should take advantage of this window of opportunity by putting together it's resources to join the line of fuel importers, so that it can sell it's products at 86 Naira. The advantage is that Labour petroleum products will attract more patronage and force other marketers to do likewise. This is not an alien proposal, there are precedents. When the government stopped buying cars for workers Labour took up the challenge by organizing co-operative societies that made cars available to workers who are members. When the government stopped building houses for workers, Labour took up the challenge and started buying acres and hectares of land which they shared to workers through cooperative societies. They even have building materials available to workers through the cooperative society. I think it's time Labour unions, societies, associations, churches and communities take up roles in the global free market for the benefit of it's members. There is a paradigm shift in ideologies, principles and how they should be employed in our modern world. The growth of population, innovation in technology and expanding economic space has made it unprofitable to apply the model and formula of the 20th century successfully in this 21st century. The need for this inclusive participation in economic activities by Labour is underscored by the prediction that a time will come when most tools of labour for both government and non governmental entities will be machines and not man, by then Organised Labour whose only goal is industrial agitation for better wages and living conditions of workers will become irrelevant . Take note that the military is about to key into this new trend of active participation in the free market economy. In Egypt the army is involved in commercial construction of roads, bridges and buildings. It owns the company called "Arab Contractors". The Nigerian Army will soon commence the commercial sale and transportation of petroleum products in its newly constructed mega filling stations in parts of the country. Other than industrial actions and personal welfare, What do the other bodies and Labour Unions have to bring to the table of free market economy? No to strikes. We are tired. Labour should be more ingenious and start thinking outside the box.....

Thanks

Nigerian leaders and politicians should invest in the youths and not be too selfish and greedy because that's their only problem.

They should give them key positions in politics as they are the leaders of tomorrow

Politics / Re: List Of Agencies And Departments Under Fayemi, As A Minister Of Solid Minerals by flerKys(f): 1:43pm On Nov 12, 2015
If the ministry of solid minerals can be revived and promoted and upgraded then Nigeria will be great again as development process will require many skilled labour and as such will generate employment.

There are lots of solid minerals in our country and one of which is the precious stones that most Nigerians are not even aware of and the set of people benefiting from the sector will not want the federal government to even know anything about.

The minister of solid minerals has a lot of research to make about the sector and I believe that Nigeria and the present administration are on point.

Such a big shame to the nollywood industry that they cannot raise money for their collegeaus and after they'll all be showing off. They'll Show up now that the man is late but couldn't render any assistance to him while he needed it.

Nobody knows who"s next and the more reason why we have to make the people around us happy.

Is this only done in Lagos state? If other states should be releasing the statement of the projects done by their predecessors then you'll see that the one of Laagos state is a childs play and that's When you'll see projects that are not even done at all and those that are abandoned. But our goverment should be live on goodwill as it matters a lot.

Our governor should intervene on time and look into their system of ion and hoW they're been maintained or else it'll be story like the then Oluwole bus that was used in Lagos then. Eko o ni baje o!
