Gej will loose, why are they staking him as favourite. COs of incumbency power i guess. Can't this guys feel the reality on ground?
You are feeling your reality on media and you probably reside in lagos, Abuja, PH or Kaduna. Trust me Nigeria is beyond these few places. Grassroot politics wins and that is the edge PDP has over APC anyday.
Politics › Re: Exclusive: Projected Final Result Of The 2015 Presidential Election- CSBC by Flets: 5:14pm On Jan 31, 2015
Buhari is popular in Lagos, Abuja, NE and NW. I still can't see how Buhari will win this election. Its looking mathematically impossible.

The media hype is pretty deceptive.

Adminisher:
The ND militancy will affect maybe 30% of oil exports for not more than two months depending on how much hunger and starvation the disruption affects children in that region. Most of Nigeria rich fields are offshore. All the stupid pictures people are posting are a disgrace. Nigeria made $600B-) in 4 years and you are posting six roads as evidence of performance. They have stolen your life finish and they have just started on kids unborn.

The external reserves is down and the debt is $70B-). This is daylight robbery and fuels subsidy thieves won't go free.
This is all noise. During the peak of previous militancy. .. may I remind you the boys got to bonga which is the farthest offshore facility from shore. So dont sound like the offshore facilities are safe. You can be sure the IOCs would not risk producing in violent region in this period of low crude prices. ... there is no incentive for that

You are counting on two months abi? Let me remind you that the previous insurgency took over 6yrs at a time the conviction of the struggle was marginal. Be sure that you and your APC evil mongers have landed them a genuine struggle on a platter. If you think its going away as soon as it starts... then you are truly high on expired kunu

We are not posting just six roads. .. we have seen multiple roads, trains and railway, better airports, a country under diversification in areas of Agriculture, automobile, oil and gas downstream, cement production etc. We've continued to see new universities and alamajiri schools up north, free and fair elections, Freedom of information, systematic fight against corruption using long lasting systems, unbundling the power sector, putting an end to fuel scarcity. .........and so on .....and on....... and on. The list is endless.

There is no reason not to return a performing president. If you lot think he must go just return power to the north...... then we will jointly take the country back by 20years. Forget about constant power under Buhari cos the gas to the turbines will never flow. Forget about the salaries and allocations cos that crude will be trapped underneath.

Take it or leave ..... we are all in big shit. You can argue all you want...reality is staring you in the face.

Politics › Re: Dollar Rising Vote Wisely Ooooooo by Flets: 11:53am On Jan 31, 2015
Hahahaha, many dumb people in Nigeria.
Exchange rate is rising just because of falling crude prices. No making of GEJ.

If GEJ wins, chances are that the naira will bounce back as the diversification progresses and crude prices may rise

If Buhari wins, the ND militancy will resume and with drop in crude production and significant drop in foreign exchange. .... the exchange rate will grow astronomically and could get to 300naira per dollar in months.

Vote wisely

I've always maintained that nobody comes close in terms of presidential performance like GEJ.

We can argue all we want but the future of this country is so bright under this man Goodluck. We are not at the destination yet but we are definitely on the right path.
Politics › Re: How Buhari Killed The Brother Of Nollywood Actor (Osuofia) by Flets: 8:59am On Jan 30, 2015
Why is Buhari always associated with death, blood, Kill, sharia, guns, coup, violence, bokoharam and many other negative vices?

This is too much baggage for a prospective president of a democratic and secular nation like Nigeria.

your comment is as useless as the ueue in the word Queue. I doubt you know the meaning of self serving. Okonjo Iweala is dumb!!!! she's glaring evidence that certificate cannot replace common sense.
NOI is a renowned and celebrated world bank senior and havard graduate currently doubling as your cordinating and finance minister. I hope you were not expecting me to believe your noise and disregard hers? Your illiterate ranting online does nothing to her reputation.

Her policies are clear to enlightened minds and future of this country has for once been defined by a great mind. Now you can run along ...... and keep trolling Nairaland.

Politics › Re: Oby Ezekwesili Reacts To Okonjo-Iweala's Response To Charles Soludo's Article by Flets: 5:37pm On Jan 28, 2015
NOI remains the smartest woman to serve this country. Her policies are futuristic and spells abundance for Nigeria.

Unfortunately typical shallow minded self serving Nigerians with eyes for short term gains alone cannot understand the great work going on behind the scenes.

Oby is only an attention seeking opportunist. She aint qualified to lace NOI shoes. NOI would never act the way she is acting as the world bank would gladly welcome back one of its best heads anyday she retires from serving Nigeria. Oby is desperately in search of a job.

Politics › Re: Cambridge University Provides More Details On Buhari’s WASC Results by Flets: 5:12pm On Jan 28, 2015
Instead of the image damage control by APC and its media arm. Is it not easier and more integrity-like if Buhari simply requested for this certificate and gets something from the certifying body in less than 24hrs.

Every additional attempt at proving Buhari's side of the certificate saga further increases the perception of the non-availability of this certificate.
Politics › Re: Okonjo-Iweala Responds To Soludo's Attack (Press Release) by Flets:
The key things that didn't makes sense to me on Soludo’s write up are

1. If it wasn't for political gains, why wait till election period for such write up
2. Why referencing Peter Obi in a write up that should never have involved him?
3. He declared Obj a saint
4. He lied about povert rate. Check www.unctad.com
Politics › Re: Why I Will Vote for GEJ by Flets: 8:42am On Jan 27, 2015
Six REASONS TO VOTE GEJ

1) Consolidate on the agricultural policy - If all we can achieve in the next 4 years is feed ourselves alone without significant import, it would be equivalent to 31 trillion naira per annum assuming 500 naira per day for 170 million Nigerians for 365 days. That is a massive market with mighty potentials for wealth to average Nigerians and significant employment.

2) Sustain the automobile policies - With five car assembly plants nearing completion as at Dec 2014 and another 10 targeting completion by Dec 2015. We can commence and sustain car assembly. By 2017, the car manufacturers will commence manufacturing of the spare parts in-country. and with the re-invigoration within the power sector and ajaokuta steel plant, this industry will be the soul of manufacturing in the whole of Africa. Nigeria will become a car export country for the region in the next 5 to 6 years

3) Ensure continuity on power roadmap en-route constant power - Nigeria is few years to constant power, with lots of power plants nearing completion already, the ongoing gas assembly plant in Delta state, the ongoing investment by the private investors and the bids in hand for foreign competitors that will be introduced in 2016 .... we cannot afford to distort any of these ongoing plans. The story about constant power will soon be history

4) Ensure true democracy is further entrenched into our society. 4 more years of freedom of speech/ information and free/ fair elections will deepen our democracy for better years. Autocracy, intimidation, press bondage and unfair elections will be alien to us come 2019. And any government afterwards can only continue or better the process because the foundations would have fully solidified

5) Ensure that our infrastructures get the desired attention including our roads, railways, airports etc and sustained for the long term. Ensure that the oil and gas sector is deregulated through removal of subsidy to allow private sector participation with the consequent emergence of numerous refineries and petrochemical industries. Continue set up of the right institutions to fight corruption like the e-wallet system for fertilizer scam, biometric registration for ghost workers scam, pension reforms for pension scam etc.

6) Ensure that our northern brethren get some education through a sustained alamajiri education system. This will further make them productive and less vulnerable to violence and destruction

SEVEN REASONS I WILL NOT VOTE BUHARI

1) It will be a blow on our democracy that we distort a pleasant Nigeria future for a man who ended our nascent democracy 30 years ago

2) The name Buhari is globally associated with Dog, baboon, blood, sharia crusade, death, anarchy, coup plotting, tribal high handedness etc and this cannot be the best fit for Nigeria in 2015

3) The man Buhari has not shown any plan for Nigeria, so far its been a campaign of paying 5000 naira to 25 million Nigerians which is totally laidback and unsustainable. Stabilizing crude oil prices by buhari as promised is also not possible. Feeding the school children is not sustainable and not what Nigeria needs at the moment..... No concrete plans for the Nigeria future

4) Unfortunately, a man that has Obj, Atiku, tinubu, Amaechi etc who have wrecked the Nigerian society as his support base cannot mean change in 2015. He cannot jail the hands that fed him meaning jailing by Buhari can only be sectional and based on favouritism. Buhari is also not open to setting up the right systems and institutions to make corruption in the various sectors almost impossible.

5) It will be a disgrace to Nigeria that a 72 year old retired general who showed open disdain to the Nigeria army for fighting Bokoharam and threw his weight behind bokoharam (http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/buhari-military-offensive-against-boko-haram-anti-north/149256/) will be the president of Nigeria where other nations are joining forces to fight terrorism all over the world

6) How can we have a president whose educational qualification is in contention in 2015? Would it have been easier and better if the requested certification is shown to the electorate?. Even if the certificate exists, calling the bluff of the electorate for whom you beg for their votes is the height of insensitivity on the part of the general at this time.... much more when he is power

7) In this period of Nigerian growth, we cannot go for uncertainties. Though I do not consider this a political point, but a reaction to a Buhari's presidency in the SS through resumed militancy will pull all our growths to a halt and the economic suffering will be unprecedented. Four more years under GEJ will ensure complete diversification of the economy through agriculture, automobile and oil&gas downstream after which an uprising in the SS will have minimal impact to the country's economy

APC showed its cards too early, they were having fun with their apprentice propaganda for the past few months.

Now PDP is striking with some real shit and the headless chickens have been running around crying. I always knew the long silence by PDP was geared towards something.

The next two weeks will be very intense.
