In the face of imminent threat to my life and family, i would do anything in acting in defence. But for the scenario that you painted, if they have not gained entry, then i will shoot in the air to scare them away. But in the event that they have gained entry and the situation is life threatening...a gun pointed at me, i will shoot without hestitation. A friend of mine came to me for some clarification. Please i need some property experts here to help me out.
Mr A lives in a rented aprtment. At †he start of his tenency he paid †he sum of N500k for a years rent and an agreement(legal) fees of 50k at 10% rate. Now his rent has expired and his landlord is asking for besides his one year rent; another 50k as agreement fees claiming that what he paid previously was for the year that passed.

He is also to pay a land use charge.
Is the landlord right cos I'm actually hearing this for the first time. If he descides not to pay wouldn't he get a quit notice? And what options does he have...? Please guys advice needed please.
