Actress, Omoni Oboli has lost her grandmother less than two weeks after she also lost her dad. She took to her Instagram page to announce her passing away and also wrote a short tribute to her. She wrote;

''#WCE You will always be my woman crush! The queen has gone home, My Nana left me and I couldn't talk about it. My Nana went to be with Jesus less than two weeks after my dad.

I was completely shattered! I was so heart broken and I felt I couldn't take it. It was too much. I lost my mom almost fifteen years ago and my Nana for me, was mom so it was like loosing both Dad and Mom in a space of two weeks. I didn't know how to face it and I couldn't tell you guys becauseI know how most of you have fallen in love with her from my videos and pictures with her. This morning, the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) dismissed the charges of false asset declaration against Senate President, Bukola Saraki. Chairman of the tribunal, Danladi Umar, in his ruling said the prosecution team had failed to provide sufficient evidence to prove that Saraki was indeed guilty of false asset declaration.


With this, Nigerians took to social media to share their views on the ruling. As expected many believe the fight against corruption is a futile effort. See their comments below.

Micheal Adegbehin pictured above, who is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH and also a disc jockey, died mysteriously after spending his birthday night with his girlfriend simply identified as Blessing last Thursday June 8th.


According to reports, Micheal turned 27 on Thursday and after celebrating with his friends, decided to go home with his lover to his elder brother's house at Agbe Road, Abule Egba area of Lagos state.


The deceased sent a text message to his brother to inform him that he would be spending the night with Blessing inside his one room apartment. His brother out of courtesy, decided tosleep somewhere else so as to allow the lovers have some privacy.


Tragedy however struck when he returned in the morning of Friday June 9th to discover the lifeless body of Micheal inside his house. The said lover, Blessing was no where to be found and was incommunicado for a while.The elder brother rushed Micheal to a hospital nearby where he was certified dead. His remains have been deposited at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Ikeja.Blessing has since reported herself to the police station and a detailed investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Two children, age 10 and 14, were burnt to death on Tuesday morning when fire razed properties along SDP Road in Bonny LGA of Rivers State.

It was gathered that the fire started in the early hours of today with an uncontrollable speed and force. Source of fire is yet to be known.


The CTC Chairman of the LGA, Hon. Sim Emmanuel Hart, accompanied by his Secretary Lady Helen Jack-Wilson Pepple, Supervisors and Advisers of Council are currently at the scene to confirm the unfortunate incident.

As we reported yesterday, days leading up to his arrest for theft, fraud and grand theft, the singer has been on social media flaunting his recent private jets trips. Now, the verified twitter account of Tap Jets have come out to claim responsibility for handing the singer over to the police tweeting that he attempted to book Tap Jets flight using stolen credit card numbers.
