An Okada rider was burnt to death by an angry mob for his involvement in a robbery at Finger bus-stop, Badagry Expressway, Lagos, today September 27th.


Narrating what happened, an Eyewitness said the bike man was shot while trying to escape with his accomplice after a robbery.


"He was running along the road and jumped on the bike waiting for him.


Unfortunately for them, Police around gave them a chase, fatally shooting the bike man in the process. An angry mob reportedy descended on the robbers, burning the bike man while the Police left with the armed accomplice." -

Kastina State Governor, Aminu Bello-Masari was on his way back from prayer when he saw a vehicle involved in fatal crash.


He immediately alighted from his car and ordered his to use his car to rush the accident victims to the hospital. He also said he will be footing their medical bills.

At least four armed robbery suspects were killed during a shoot-out with operatives of the Nigerian Police at the Okere-Ajamimogha axis in Warri, Delta state yesterday September 26th.


According to residents in the area, the suspected robbers who had earlier robbed a church at Cemetery road, were driving towards Okere-Ajamimogha road when a team of mobile policemen sighted, followed them and engaged them a shoot out which led to the death of the four of them.


Spokesperson of the Delta Police Command, SP Celestina Kalu who confirmed the incident, said two locally made double barrel cut-to-size and sixlive cartridges were recovered from the suspected robbers.

The NYSC member that was kidnapped in Omudeme, in Kelga, in Rrivers state has regained her freedom.

Helen who was kidnapped at the corpers’ lodge in Omademe, Ikwerre LGA of the state, at about 3am on Friday was rescued today,, by the men of security agents in collaboration with the Ikwerre Local Government council and assisted by the immediate past ctc chairman of the council and State PDP publicity secretary, Hon. Samuel Nwanosike.


She has been taking to the clinic for treatment.

The pic above have been trending online and according to reports, the man pictured above go his hand stuck on a Quaran after he tried to violate it. A facebook user Brendan Ortono, claimed he witnessed the shocking episode. He wrote; ‘,


"Yes, I was there, I confirmed it, we tried all we could to get his hands off the Quran but our efforts proved abortive. Even as i am talking to U now, his hands are still stucked to the Quran.”

It is still unclear which part of the country this happened.
