News broke today that Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya, the daughter of legendary musician, Victor Olaiya, has sadly passed away. The 42-year-old actress who delivered a baby girl in March, died in a Canada hospital last night from possible complications from her child birth. Celebrities have now started paying tributes to her on social media.

This morning, the Nigerian entertainment industry was thrown into mourning with the sad news of the death of actress, Moji Olaiya who passed away in Canada at the age of 42.


Reports have it that the actress who welcomed her first child barely two months ago has been in and out of the hospital since her childbirth and just 24 hours before the news of her death broke, Moji shred a cute photo of her self smiling in a living room with the caption,

'Alliamdulilahi to you Allah I give all the glory for all you have done. I will forever praise and worship you. It's not by power but the Grace of Allah.

Thank you for the gift of life. Thanks also toall my friends and family my fans for your supports and prayers. Love you all'.

May her soul rest in peace!

We must thank them for their courage and patriotism. Where they're coming from is like a forest of one thousand demons" he said.

Nafiu Umar Balarabe posted photos from a remote community in Niger State that practice paganism, alleging that some evangelists are trying to convert the people to Christianity.

"This is a challenge to all Muslim Community in the the North and especially from North central.


This village is called Birnin Amina in Rijau Local Government of Niger state. The community there they don't practice any religion but paganism.Now our people of the other religions are taking advantage of their situation by clothing them as you can see on the picture below . Their main aim is convert them into Christianity. This is a challenge to both of us.

The first wife of the Minister of Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalung, Briskila, who died on Sunday January 29th, will be buried on Saturday February 4th at Sabongida, Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau state. Dalung announced her burial date in a statement released by the Director of Information in the Ministry of Sports, Tolu Makinde.
