Four years and eight months ago when Mr. Udom Emmanuel took over as the governor of Akwa Ibom State, the road infrastructure in Uyo Senatorial District was actually not good enough to attract foreign investments which would in turn boost the State's economy.

Even Gov. Udom himself canot make this blasphemous statement. This is the biggest lie that can emanate from nowhere than the pit of hell where the writer Uwemedimo Uma I resides.

This factor led to economic stagnation across the state. What happens to Uyo would obviously pose either negative or positive impacts on other districts of the State.

This was the same thing Akpabio told us... He spent Billions of naira on infrastructure in the name of attracting foreign investors. Ogun and Anambra states don't have the type of roads Akwa Ibom has, yet investors keep trooping in to those places, creating jobs, generating IGR and industrilizing the states. Akwa Ibom state governors are focusing on roads, stadium and other projects that they can use to siphon money.

I visited Akwa Ibom last year December and I almost cried.
The level of unemployment and poverty is heartbreaking.
Yet the state receives almost the highest subvention from the FG.
Akpabio tried in the area of Infrastructure and selling the state's image for investors to come in, but the current mentally-lazy governor has practically taken the state back to 1999. The only thing he is good at is dishing out motivational words. Daakada, Only God etc.
