Then I fear if we carry out a census, incompetence and corruption constantly reflecting in the Nigerian government will mar the process It is not exagerated |
Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Population Is A Lot Less Than 220 Million - Tope Fasua by Flier: 10:48am On Mar 27, 2023 |
If 94 million could register for election, that means we are close to 250 million because 80 percent of people i know does not have voters card
Just look at the number of under 18 and old age.
Now let compare it to America where are almost all adult votes,160 million voter and 300 million population
Mind you in Nigeria, about 3 percent of the population have no access to anything be it,ability to vote, electricity or road
So i believe Nigerias population is close to 300 million |

Politics › Re: Asari Dokubo Sends Strong Message To Bishop Oyedepo, Warns Yoruba People by Flier: 10:25am On Mar 21, 2023 |
Godspikin: Not true! It is not true that Yorubas voted along tribal lines, if you check the spread of the votes you will see that as evident, however some if not most of the youths voted along religious lines.
The reason Tinubu lost Lagos was because some Yorubas in Lagos voted along religious lines. Most Yoruba Christian youths voted based on their perception of the Muslim-Muslim ticket as an affront to their religion. A baseless point howbeit. You forgot lagos is 1/8 of south western states, they voted solely on tribal lines not religion |

Zetty177x: Yorubas travel more than the whole Nigerians. I see them all over UK, very loud people..many people don't like them abroad. Now I understand. I hate no tribe. But while in the UK, many Nigerians don't speak to Yorubas. I have never in my life played d tribe card. Na Yoruba people make me know of tribe.
Now u say useless Biafra. U don't want them to vote, u don't want to elect their person, u rig their Obi out, u don't want to give them Biafra. Na wa.
I am from Niger Delta and pained how Nigeria shares our resources and our region is polluted. We need restructuring for every region to control their resources. Q.E.D. Reverse is the case! IGBO are the loudest abroad and people would rather relate with Yoruba to Igbo, Not easy to trust an igbo guy abroad because they take risk,i mean anything to get money even if it requires putting your iP address or your apartment at risk Come again let me take you to school,I lived with igbo and we were forced to leave when immigration bursted our condo,3 times in 2 months |

Verysmart101: Taaa, how did Igbos interfere in Lagos politics? By voting? Honestly the evil you sow today will out grow you tomorrow.Ask Atiku his plight today and you will understand better Interfering in peaceful way would even have been better, but calling lagos a no mans land, calling your host all sorts of derogatory names, attacking anyone who is against your candidate, changing the whole thing to igbo vs yoruba Obi campaigning/visiting only Igbo dominated areas and so on turned everything to Yoruba vs Igbo and i am happy they paid dearly for it You should be ready to leave the house the moment you start disrespecting your landlord |

doublewisdom: Las las Yorubas are fighting a lost battle. Lagos is forever gone. The takeover is happening daily, little by little. As we speak, someone is selling his ancestral land to do owambe. The Yorubas are running scared already. Compare last election to this one and see the input by non Yorubas. Na small small something. Everything will be corrected, its not too late.Igbo markets should be relocated to Ibafo or badagry, Government should not allow change of ownership of any shop who bears igbo name Igbo should be banned from participating in Lagos politics A lot have to be done to correct this nonsense |
