Business › Help: Which Bank Card Supports Online Purchase On Foreign Websites? by Flipmac(op): 9:18am On Jul 08, 2022 |
Hi guys, I want to buy a $120 item online, so I'll like to know which bank card supports buying items on foreign websites with dollar prices.
I asked Access Bank and they said they only allow online purchase on Naira websites.
Please which bank card currently supports buying items with dollar prices?
Thanks |

jeff1607: Also stayed in igando during nysc , had to move to agbara for decent power, if u want constant electricity at least 20hrs you have agbara estate or opic estate. Ok. Can I get a Self-con for 250k total package in those estates? |

laidenews: Yes, the 250k is for Egbe. Honestly, I’m still searching as well and that light is a major factor for me and likewise good road. Igando areas with good power supply are From Roundabout (coming from Ikotun) to Church bustop. Those are the areas I know of and the road is good as well. No trailers based on your post lol I also fear them.
I’m beginning to consider the Agbara areas someone mentioned earlier. This house hunting is not easy at all Ok, thanks for the info. |

izzou: Agbara to Igboelerin is repaired and free
Igboelerin to Iyanaoba is the problem. Repairs, Okada, Shanties at Alabarago, and construction too.
After Iyanaoba to Mile 2 is okay, except for tankers and trailers Perfectly described. Thank you so much. |

NoToPile: This your question ehn I don't even know how to answer it. It's a Yes but some constructions are still on going so there's a little no.
There's some construction going on at afromedia, Igboelerin side again but there's a free service well tarred lane that will lead to Iyana ibaVolks direct from okoko. Same when coming from Barracks straight to okoko.
There's Some construction at volks
The fast lanes are not yet opened but there's tarred roads to pass, except for that section under construction at igbo elerin/ afromedia side.
The only place you will have bad road / road construction induced traffic is igboelerin/ afromedia and maybe Volks.
Either way it's way way way better than whatever you remembered it was. Lol, don't mind me the condition of that road was pretty bad and I was always scared of container truck falling on me . Glad to know there are some changes. |

NoToPile: For Ijanikin Iyana era area, Ketu, aiyetoro etc precisely, you can get decent Selfcontain ( A room plus parlor plus toilet) within the range of 170-250k annually depending on the standard then for total package add 100k except you are lucky enough to see landlord direct.
The light is quite stable around iyanaera ( right side when coming from okoko) , Alasia, ashiribo, alemu. ( they said it's 33kva line or federal line)
Aiyetoro, ketu, (they said it's 11kva or state line ) the light used to be quite bad, seems it's a bit better now but not as good as those on that 33.
It's a bit tricky there are some places in alemu that leads to ketu so you won't know where is using which light.
Same with Aiyetoro and Iyanaera( right side when coming from okoko) there's a boundary for the light.
All these ones above don't share light.
Then the iyanaera (left side when coming from okoko) you take Marwa via the interlock road to abule, Era, Adaloko. I know they share light, they have off days.
But the price range of all of them is same as stated initially.
For Agbara they also have constant light. So much options in this post. I've noted the mentioned areas, Thank you. Please I have one last question: Do you know if the mile2 - badagry expressway way has been repaired? If yes, has it been repaired up to agbara area? |

khatea: I think wt ur budget, U can look into some parts of Ikorodu dt have gud electricity supply Ikorodu seems kinda off for me. I prefer the areas along badagry expressway to ikorodu. Thanks anyway. |

izzou: Not all oh.
I visited somewhere along Badagry Expressway. Bad roads, and it was inside. But almost every building had a prepaid meter. I heard there was a Senior PHCN staff that lived there and he ensured his community were given the meters (He's late though)
If their light is bad, it's like 9 to 10 hours a day, although I don't know about now that the grid is collapsing Ok I totally understand. Thanks. |

izzou: If you want to stay in an environment with stable electricity, especially in Lagos, look out for areas where all or most of the residents have prepaid meters.
You're right, it's just that I have a slim budget - 250k. Most places with prepaid meters are likely high brow areas. |

4rmGuest2Member: Hello Flipmac. To clarify, Egbe & Ikotun are two different areas of close proximity. I used to live in Egbe, till I moved. There are some areas (like ile-iwe) where the power supply is very good compared to others. But generally, because prepaid meters are not widely used here and amount per kwh is lower compared to other areas, this probably affects the amount of electricity supplied per day during seasons of high power generation/distribution.
Not sure about self contain costs but I'd be surprised if the total package exceeds the 250k - 350k range.
Edit: Thought to add that you should also consider traffic, depending on where your place of work is. This was the primary reason I moved a few years ago. Thank you so much for your response. About traffic, I have an online teaching job so I can work from anywhere really. The thing is, my max budget is 250k for the total package. Please suggest other areas if you can. I don't mind Agbara but I don't know much about the place. |

laidenews: Also looking for a self con in another part of Alimosho with good electricity. Based on research so far, Igando light seems to be stable now. I just can’t say how long it’ll remain stable.
I’ve lived in Egbe all my life. The light was very good until about 2months now that Nepa started showing their true colors. Now we have light for like 6-8hrs a day unlike before when we do have uninterrupted electricity for 4 days straight. I’m speaking for Liasu Road and other areas like Agodo using “ 33 electricity”
Self con here depends on the Area and the newness of the house but you’ll see a decent one for 250k Hi there, thanks for the response. I stayed in Igando during my NYSC back in 2013/2014. Back then, the electricity supply was very poor. Is 250k for the total package in Egbe? And from your search, what's the total package for a decent self-contain in Igando (in the areas with good electricity)? I have a max budget of 250k for total package, and I'm looking for a place with decent electricity (12hours or more daily). Please suggest any other areas if you can. I'm also considering Ijaniki and Agbara. But I don't know much about those areas and I'm based in Port-harcourt. |

Still, it was prudent of them to issue that statement though false... Reputation is everything after all. My thoughts exactly.

ariesbull: I live in Lagos for years and I still live in Lagos... Trust me Lagos is a huge trash from lekki to Iyanaoba
Lekki you have flooding, prostitutes hanging around and terrible traffics
In Mainland crime, touts, urchins, street fights and prostiruting All of these are the attributes that actually makes lagos unique. Some people miss the craziness of lagos when they leave. |
