This is long overdue honestly.. attimes I wonder why we don't have State Police in place. Federal Police will be in charge of Federal crimes and cases while State Police can focus on security within their domain.

I don't think Banditry/Kidnapping can survive up to 1 month when State Police comes into force.. any Governor that fails to use the avenue of State Police to secure his State can be held responsible for having hand in insecurity.

Going home weekends is different from daily commute from kaduna to Abuja. It's going to be stressful.

It might even be more stressful than lokoja to Abuja. I wonder if there are people that can play this one daily.

I've seen someone living around ojodu area in lagos go to abeokuta daily at a point. He leaves early.

Initially, it might look stressful for newbies.. but for those that are already used to it, I don't think it can be as stressful. From Kaduna, I go as far as Zaria, Kano, Katsina (North West), though occasionally, but I can't say it's that stressful.

I honestly don't like how the FG is allowing airlines reap Nigerians off their hard earned money.. Airfare from Abuja to Lagos shouldn't be more than 60 - 80k (considering current realities on ground). How will you place over 400k on flight within Nigeria?. Trip of about 1h15m, how??.

PBAT should look into cross-border marshals just like the FRSC that'll be on constant patrol with strategic stations on all our highways to make our highways more secured for travellers, pending when speed trains across Nigeria will become fully operational. This absurdity with airline travel can't continue, it's a dangerous economic trend that shouldn't be allowed to stand.

Will Airpeace for instance enter UK and US avaition market and be placing unreasonable prices on airfares to Nigeria without facing sanctions from the Government of those countries?. Definitely not.
Soon airfare from Lagos to Abuja will be higher than airfare from Accra, Ghana to London (that's if it hasn't happened already).

Going to work in Abuja daily from kaduna. I've never heard of that one. I know of people going from suleja, keffi, to Abuja daily but isn't kaduna too far for a Monday to Friday work schedule.

I've seen cases like that (but not sure if it's everyday they go to work), especially those who have their personal house in Kaduna, they either travel by road or join the train Sunday evenings and return to Kaduna Friday evening.

Nigeria rebuilt the South East.. Igbos didn't pluck money from trees to start rising from the ashes. Infact, Igbos destroyed more than they built themselves.
