@OP If you see woman wey like you and you like am too, you better go ahead and marry her. she is above 20 yrs and you're not even up to 40 yrs.
If you know what Northern people dey do, fear go catch you.. they marry girls as young as 10 yrs and you'll begin to wonder how an old man of 60 - 65 yrs will manage to sleep with 10 yrs child.
TravelRe: Burkina Faso: The Journey Of No Return by flokii: 6:58pm On Nov 23, 2024
You're going from frying pan to fire.. so despite all the warnings of how people get sold to slave masters and organ harvesters, some of you still take the risk to follow strangers to places you're not sure of.
smh.
PoliticsRe: Moment Guest Blasts Rufai Oseni, Ruben Abati On Air Over Comment On Tinubu by flokii: 6:54pm On Nov 23, 2024
WeddingParol:
Rufai Oseni behaviour doesn't align with journalism profession.

He is quite arrogant and dish out disrespect to their guests.

I know that Arise TV and daily post are often not objective in their narratives which made me to stop watching and reading their contents.

One of your jobs as a journalist is to objectively criticise the government where it's failing and call attention to matters particularly of public interest and not bear parlour journalism full of sentiments and illogical biases.

They need to learn from the likes of premium times etc.
The journalism profession in Nigeria has gone to the dogs if people like Rufai Oseni, Reuben Abati and co. can be laughing, mocking the guest in their TV Station who is visibly angry and provoked.
I doubt you'll ever see such unruly behaviour from staff of Fox News or CNN.

This Rufai Oseni guy is very stvpid.. who the hell does he think he is to be talking to a guest in a commanding tone.
Like the man rightly said.. he is a badly brought up boy.

Where is NCC when you need them?

It's time for the NUJ to sanction Arise TV if they can't do something about that useless boy they call journalist. Such an insensitive fellow
PoliticsRe: NNPC Directs Marketers To Cease Petrol Imports, Cites Dangote Refinery Capacity by flokii: 6:14pm On Nov 23, 2024
President Tinubu should not allow Dangote have monopoly in the Petroleum sector.. I know what I'm saying.
The government should be looking for ways to break monopoly and bring fuel, food prices down not encouraging monopoly. Whoever is advising this government is doing a terrible job.

Stopping importation of Petroleum products without having options to fall back to (except Dangote refinery) will lead to serious disaster and total economic collapse. Those Northerners in the Petroleum Agencies don't care whether this country collapse or not, as far as they hand over the oil industry to their brother, they care less about others.

PBAT should stop this disaster NNPC under Mele Kyari is trying to force on Nigerians.. the economy will collapse and food prices will go beyond reach if you give only one person monopoly. A word is enough for the wise
RomanceRe: See The Marriage List They Gave this guy: Should He Proceed? by flokii: 5:53pm On Nov 23, 2024

After sleeping around, you bring list for guy wey wan manage marry you put for house.. nonsense and ingredients.
TravelRe: I Tried Out The New Lagos Red Line For The First Time by flokii: 10:35am On Nov 23, 2024
Abia State residents can't relate.. all they've tried out is 1 takeaway pack of jollof rice with fried fish dished out to them by Ikpeazu. Attimes 1 litre of kerosene each.

God bless Lagos State and all Yorubas worldwide
PoliticsRe: Heavy Military Presence At Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s Burial In His Hometown(photos) by flokii: 9:44am On Nov 23, 2024
Politicians have failed this country.. Security ought to be the topmost priority of any Government but in Nigeria, those in government have been fingered not once or twice to be part of those sponsoring insecurity for their selfish gains.
In North, it's the same thing . heavy Military presence to protect weddings or burial ceremony guests.

FamilyRe: Just Relocated To Abuja - Need Help Settling In. by flokii: 7:55pm On Nov 22, 2024
@OP It will be hard for you to get to Area 8 from Trademore in Lugbe if you're not driving cos there is no straight route.. From Area 1, you will get vehicle to Area 10 (or UTC where Abuja post office is) but I'm not sure if you can get Area 8 direct (Area 3 as if you're heading to Wuse) will take you straight to Area 7 & 8.

You should have asked before picking Lugbe.. Abuja na one kind tricky place.
PoliticsRe: Seyi Tinubu Not Fit To Rule Lagos – Joe Igbokwe by flokii: 6:59pm On Nov 22, 2024
buckeyemedia:
Even the ones claiming that they are the true Lagosians never rule the state, it is outsiders with similar names that have been ruling them.

People will always want to claim a prosperous place for themselves, why not praise Ogbomosho, Ibadan, or any civilized place of old Western Nigeria, it is always Yoruba get Lagos?

Guy without Igbo, no Lagos State.
You lie again.. without Lagos State and Yorubas, no Igbos.
This is the reasons Igbos can't stay off Yorubaland.

Stop trying to use reverse psychology.. If Yorubas ask you to leave today, all your igwes and ezes in alaigbo will come all the way to beg.
PoliticsRe: Seyi Tinubu Not Fit To Rule Lagos – Joe Igbokwe by flokii: 6:50pm On Nov 22, 2024
buckeyemedia:
Guy you are talking nonsense, & ignorance is never an excuse, Lagos State was never part of Western Nigeria, Yoruba Land ended on the outskirts with the capital in Ibadan.
You're the one talking nonsense.. Lagos State was part and parcel of the Western Region despite a tiny fraction of Lagos serving as the Federal Capital.. Ikeja, Apapa and a whole lot of them were Industrial layouts and avenue for the Western region government till the coup of 1996 that brought Aguiyi Ironsi into power who abolished regional system of government.
You must be a kid to be making such false claims.

I hear you guy, they understand Yoruba & speak it better than u so called wanderer from The South West of Nigeria.

I just happened to come into access of my late old boys property with the survey in Orile-Iganmu with a survey plan number of 1977, of the 12 plots in the survey of who the owners were, 10 of them, including the individual that sold to my pops where igbo.

Guy go rest, Eko Oni Baje, Lagos na Lagos.
I can tell you 100 possible reasons for that.. before now, Yorubas weren't alive to their responsibilities of preserving our heritage for future Yoruba generations but all that has now changed.

Lagos being a former Capital of Nigeria gave Igbos the impetus to be scheming to usurp the Yoruba political structure of Lagos so they can take over Lagos politics but they failed. Nnamdi Azikiwe an Igbo man that has no ties or business with Yorubaland was in Ibadan fighting to become leader of Yorubas as far back as 60s' before Civil war happened and all their plans buried with their dead.

Even at independence, Igbos were still showing land grabbing traits and it was evident with the first ever Military coup in 15 January, 1966 that killed leaders of all other ethnic groups except Igbos.
Your old man probably bought land from those Igbos selling off properties they bought from early Yoruba liberals (Igbos don't sell lands in South East to outsiders but Yorubas have been selling anything sellable) due to relocation to alaigbo.

In case you don't know.. Lagos State is actually called "Ilu Eko" in Yoruba language, the centre of excellence and commercial nerve centre of Nigeria.
Yorubas have eveything others are jealous of.
PoliticsRe: Dangote Refinery: Naira-based Crude Sale Scheme Faltering, NNPC Defaulting by flokii: 6:25pm On Nov 22, 2024
My advice for Mr. President is to look into the constitution of our petroleum Agencies and Parastatals.. the course of study of those working in those critical agencies matter a lot if we ever want to achieve anything meaningful.
You don't expect someone with Bachelors of Islamic studies from Kano or Bauchi to deliver in place of a Petroleum scientist or Petroleum economist.
Now if you say you want to sell crude in naira, the formula and equations you'd apply nko?.. do the people working in the agencies understand them?. These things we overlook are things causing serious problem for us as a people
CareerRe: Nigerian Lady Weeps Over The Coldness Of The UK Warehouse Where She Works by flokii: 6:00pm On Nov 22, 2024
One thing Nigerians don't appreciate or let me say Africans generally is the weather we are blessed with.. cold if not properly managed can cause serious problem to one's health. flu, covid etc. thrive very well under cold weather.

I think this one went with a different mentality cos most Nigerians relocating to cold countries go there for the bag (won lo fa gburu, gburu a si fa won).

Nigeria is blessed abeg.. but plagued with bad leaders.

Na people like you dey make us look like tribalistic fools. What has wearing a mere attire got to do with competency? Abi, you dey follow eyè the Ogun State Governorship post? You're here inciting hatred towards Yayi. Someone that has already completed his home work. Even Dapo Abiodun himself already knows who he is handing over to come 2027.
We need to start replying some you so that you can start commenting on topics like this like real Omoluabi's and not importers.
Good luck to him (Yayi) in his quest to be Governor of Ogun State, a Yoruba State.. in the interim, advise him to also wear Hausa, Fulani, Tapa, Ijaw, Efik etc. attires to redeem his image and how Yorubas perceive his gesture.
Our people will not vote for a willing tool in the hand of external forces who harbor nothing but hate for Yorubas to be their Governor.. times have changed and oju ti la.

A very very ignorant statement.

Quite obvious that you u do not reside in Lagos State?
Lagos State is a full Yoruba State my dear friend and that's the reason the Lagos State Government now translate all Lagos laws into Yoruba language..
That you travelled long distance to live or work in Lagos is only temporary, it can't change the history, culture and tradition of Lagos State which are permanent.
PoliticsRe: All You Need To Know About Simon Ekpa & His Ordeal In Finland! by flokii: 4:47pm On Nov 22, 2024
Unlike Igbos that pay lip service to terrorism and abandon their people in the South East to face all sorts of human rights violations, seizure and destruction of properties and even death for failing to observe sit at home.. Finland government don't take activities of terrorism lightly, let them convict the guy and see what will happen.
When they tell you people to think before you act, you'd say it's nzogbu nzogbu you want. Abaribe, Uzor Kalu et al. have been in the Nigerian Senate for how long now?. yet none of them can move motion for referendum or for biafra exit because of the largesse they are eating.
It's scammers from diaspora you helpless ones now look up to for liberation. Shameful.
PoliticsRe: Senator Yayi Wears Igbo Attire To Senate Meeting by flokii: 4:32pm On Nov 22, 2024
It's easier for Yayi to be the next Governor of Anambra cos he is now red flag to Ogun people.

The Igbos can never mind their business, can they? And you begin to wonder why people always have a problem with them. How would Seyi feel now (especially towards Igbos) hearing this kind of news undecided? Tomorrow now, he would become governor of Lagos and start anti-Igbo policies, you Igbos would see a good excuse to cry victim sad! The Hausa/Fulani/Ijaw/Edo/Calabar/Yoruba's, etc didn't see Seyi as a wrong choice (even though we all know this), but somehow, an Igbo man thinks he should be the one to voice it out..

Life na brain brain...
Can you actually blame him?.. no be Asiwaju give the Igbokwe, Akabueze etc. mouth to talk in Lagos. When Yorubas were warning him back then, did he listen?
The fo0lish Igbokwe still hasn't gotten the memo that he is an outsider just like the rest of his kins with no say in Lagos matters.. the werey didn't know it was the reason he got booted out of office as SA on gutter abi na drainage.
Very loquacious dullards.
PoliticsRe: Arrest Of Simon Ekpa: Nigeria Doesn't Have Extradition Treaty With Finland by flokii: 3:21pm On Nov 22, 2024
You guys led the Ekpa abi na Prime Minister of non-existent country on till Finland government nabbed him.. now you are asking whether Nigeria has extradition treaty with Finland..

Well, if you care to know, Ekpa can be extradited from Finland to Nigeria should the FG decide to request for his extradition, also the Finnish government can strip Ekpa off his citizenship and send him back to Nigeria for prosecution.
It's looking like Mazi Kanu is about to have a brother and former ally as cell mate in DSS detention soon.
PoliticsRe: VAT: Check The List Of top 12 States Receiving More VAT Than They Generate by flokii: 2:46pm On Nov 22, 2024
This is why they want to create additional parasite State in South East, so they can be collecting free money from FG despite contributing nothing to government coffers.. the least VAT, least IGR, least everything in Nigeria is South East. yet they are agitating for extra State creation.

This is what happens when you play sophisticated and accommodating for too long, outsiders will start having opinion on what you can or cannot do. The see finish from Igbos to Yorubas has reached a crescendo.
Can a Yoruba have a say on who rules Anambra or any state in the East?
The oponus forming "woke" are to blame.. educated but lack common sense.
PoliticsRe: Seyi Tinubu Not Fit To Rule Lagos – Joe Igbokwe by flokii: 2:32pm On Nov 22, 2024
Funny thing is that Igbos are behind the "endorsement" of Seyi Tinubu.. as the Chinedu Rhodes Vivour plan no work. they have switched to Seyi Tinubu because according to them, his wife is Igbo.
Greed for what belongs to others will be the undoing of those people.

In 1 million years to come, Igbos can't take Lagos or any part of Yoruba land. That's a statement of fact not assumption.

EducationRe: The Shameful Proliferation Of Phd Degrees: A Crisis In Academic Integrity by flokii: 10:55am On Nov 22, 2024
Corruption has eaten deep into the education system in Nigeria.

First was a former president they packaged wuru wuru PhD from UNIPORT for so he can answer Doctor.

When Glorified secondary schools called Private Unis started springing up in Nigeria, I knew the end of education was near. They have to churn out PhD awards so vacancies in private unis can be filled.
