Don't want to sound pessimistic but i think the end has come. we E.H hopefuls gats to move on. The GT cadre recruitment was out before the embargo on recruitment was placed by FG. Now for those that think NNPC cant be affected by that embargo, needs to rethink again. With the decline in Oil prices and economic, i dont see NNPC publishing names of EH now. Maybe in the nearest future there may be hope for us. till then i wish u guys greatness in all your endeavours.

By now you should have skillsets that bring money or have a path to work for yourself.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, says President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the engagement of 774, 000 Nigerians on Special Public Works programme in the country to cushion the effect of COVID-19 pandemic.

Mrs Ahmed disclosed this at a press conference on fiscal stimulus measures in response to COVID-19 pandemic and oil prices fiscal shock, on Monday in Abuja.

So, increase your absolute earning power...remove your disposable savings from the bank..and put them to work..and grow

2. Since Naira might, emphasis on might, get devalued further over the coming months...save in a more stable currency...remember..the war is between Saudi/Russia/USA

3. Learn more skills, a post-corona world will throw open huge opportunities..in waste management/public health/education/agriculture..identify something now..and learn

4. If all else fails, prepare to JAPA

This is the only source that matters. I missed this thread until I checked again. I have moved on sha, if APL comes, very good, if it does not come, very good.

The court decision is not complicated. Status quo means to continue with the current state of affairs. Don't forget an accused is not guilty until proven otherwise.

To NNPC this is not even a case at all, the corporation has bigger legal requirements to deal with. Why is it that civil service and judicial officers have retirement age?. Do you expect a justice of the supreme court to serve for only 15 years in their career?

Entry level requirement is set in all organisations. The prosecutor is just mischievous. Elected public offices have age requirements set for them e.g. Presidency is 40 years, Senate and HOR is 30 etc.

Another perspective is that there is no legal precedent or labor laws that prevents a company from setting its recruitment requirements. Thus, this case would be swiftly thrown out.

I told them before. But they felt it was too stringent to be considered. I explained in plain language. Still I was not communicating. August is by the corner. Life goes on.

The info is coming from a HR official to one of the applicants who already is a casual staff in nnpc ( they were also allowed to apply like us)
I won't publish it out of respect and ethics. But there's really something about this tp reimbursement.

Honestly I dont know how some people reason. Compensation and benefits is the flip side of reward and performance. This literal definition does not factor the HR method of compensating value add services.

Check am see now. alerts were for 1 day last week. It means majority never receive alert. If alert was for all working days, it means most would get the alert. Remember, only 2 NNPC staff sent the alerts.

1. Alert 1 carried NNPC INTERVIEW T/FARE REIMBURSEMENT FROM MIS STAFF
2. Alert 2 CARRIED A NAME FROM COMPENSATION STAFF.


As the recruitment has been concluded and APL awaited, it means the alertees have the smaller numerical advantage.

Let us believe that there is no correlation between APL and TF.

The first group that got TF alert got it last Tuesday, less than a week after the interview was conducted. Some theorists claimed that those people have been screened out, which logically I don't think the process of selecting the worst performers should be as quick as that rather it should be selection of few of the best performers, as it could be deduced that the selection process was still ongoing.

Some sets received alert today also. Before now we were all expecting to receive the TF, but the model of payment is making everyone to propound his own theory.
