I previewed Huntsman: Winters War at the cinema today. Well, for the lovers of this genre of movie it wasn't a bad movie after all. I never saw the prequel and i don't plan on doing that. Personally, i enjoyed the humor and banters from the dwarfs. The visual effect department also did a great job with the movie, pleasing and thrilling to the eye. The movie had some goofs but i'll leave that out to avoid spoilers. Oh! and some accents were flying over the place in the movie..lol

I'll give it a 7/10 really cuz of the visuals...

Some movie makers are unaware that the National Film & Video Censors Board as a regulatory agency MUST censor, classify and approve your movie before it is released to the general public.
Film censorship entails examining the contents of a film or video work. This helps to determine the age group or the target audience of the film, which may carry possible or inherent psychological, sociological and moral impact, among other factors on viewers.

So you just completed your movie (congratulations!), it took you months or even years, you’re exhausted (of course) and what next? Time for the next phase…..Censoring and Classification of your movie!

This post will guide you on how to go about successfully presenting your movie for censorship and classification.

MAKE YOUR CENSORSHIP PAYMENT

A fee of N25, 200 is the required payment for censorship of your movie. The good thing is that with the introduction of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) you can now make payment at any of the commercial banks. You only need to filll out a quick form on this website. After you must have completed and submitted the form, a Remita Retrival Reference (RRR) will be sent to your number which you will then use to make payment at the bank. Walk into any of the banks and inform a teller that you want to make payment into the National Film & Video Censors Board account for Censorship.

When making your payment it should be in your company’s name. Your teller and an e-receipt will be issued to you after successfully making payment, which you will make use of at the NFVCB office. This will be used for collecting your NFVCB receipt from the office.

The movie is based on true events. You are left wondering what a wicked world we live in. It goes to show you the cruel things human are capable of. A woman (Emma Watson) who is also Bae is desperate to find her boyfriend after he was captured and taken to Colonia Dignidad (a place disguised as a charity home, when in fact it’s a torture zone).
The pace was a little bit slow in the first 1hour, but then it picked up and you re left at the edge of your sit for the next hour one.

Solid points @suyamaster. Personally, i feel all this effort should rather be put into fighting piracy and proper distribution of our movies.

EYE IN THE SKY

Beautifully captures the outcome of war considering how bombs and suicide vest are blowing up. I really went to see my man Aaron Paul( Jesse Pinkman) from breaking bad, i was however impressed with the delivery of the other cast
Gavin Hood, the director equally did a great job on this one. The technology deployed in modern warfare is no childs play.
I rate the movie a solid 8/10

I'm not a big fan of Bollywood movies but the job demands I have to see them . So if you a Bollywood fan you can check out "Ki & kA". It's a romantic comedy that I recommend. The script feels original and the directing is on point. If you don't like the singing in Bollywood movies, not to worry this one just has a few scenes with brief singing. I particularly like the humor in the movie and the movie did not unnecessarily drag.\

8/10 rating!!!

Kunle Afolyan is my best director. I'm sounding like ans advocate of his work these days, but what do you expect from a man who delivers QUALITY

FAM! Kunle Afolyan all day everyday. Hommie is on another level. The production on October 1st was pretty dope. His recent work THE CEO is definately better and show cases his talent even more. I respect this man because despite the challengers and hurdles Nigerian film-makers come across he still promises to deliver top-notch quality.

What do you guys think the next episode will hold?. Will Ragnar return back seeing that his brother is leading the army and they are totally surrounded? I loved when he told his sons you can stop looking back cuz we re not going that way...poor little things..lol

For the Deadpool lovers looks like a good quality print is available on kick Ass..Judging from the comments on the link the users seem happy with the quality. The size of the movie is quite HIGH though 4.63GB

I recently just started watching TV again and i must say i am really impressed with TVC. The TVC i knew earlier has really stepped up the game. In terms of comparism with CHANNELS i can't really make a decision right now, but from all indications it seems TVC is giving CHANNELS a run for its money.

Yeah! Probably going to take a little longer to get a good print for Deadpool. So many versions on kickass from Russian, french..Korean..lol

If you can't find a clear HD of DEADPOOL on KICKASS then i'm afraid you can't get it any other place. That been said i think some movies are best watched at the cinema before you settle down for the HD or Blue Ray.

lol, I tried watching it on net only for a few minutes cos network streaming wasn't fast enough. Pop singer, Justin Bieber featured in d movie,funny enough, @ d start of d movie after being chased by a biker who supposedly was an assassin, he was shot with a thousand bullets and yet he didn't die, only to be taking selfies with his phone while laying on d ground. I laughed so hard @ dis scene.

Lol. Yeah the movie has so many Cameo appearances. Total waste of 102 minutes. Definately going down as one of my worst movies for 2016. I'll rather watch Gods of Egypt back to back for two days than this movie.

I saw Kunle Afolayn"s THE CEO today and I have to say Kunle's work is SUPERB. I'm a big fan of his work and I was thrilled to get to meet him today. I might be pushing it too far but currently I don't see anybody beating his work in Nigeria right now. I'm just always impressed with the technical aspect of his work, I really loved that he brought in different nationalities as part of the cast for this movie. The casting was on point and the actors delivered their roles perfectly. Wale Ojo is another brilliant actor and I wasn't disappointed with him in this movie. The Bank of Industry will definitely have a smile on their face when they see the finished work from Kunle.
In the coming weeks I know the buzz about the movie will blow up massively. I really hope and pray that this time around pirates don't get a hold of this job. Lord knows I’ll burn down a whole city if anyone wants to reap where they did not sow...lol; D

Spending my birthday tomorrow with Deadpool . Can someone tell me why the movie "The perfect guy" and newly released naija movie "Stalker" have the same concept

I have seen Stalker directed by Moses Inwang. I must say it was a good attempt and he is also ons of the few directors in Nigeria i respect. The only problem i have was if they could put all that directing skills into promoting our own culture and stories. From the trailer one can get carried away thinking its the same concept with the perfect guy or even Beyonce's Obessed. However, there is a twist and it is different from the hollywood movies mentioned

I resolved that I’ll hence forth from today try my best in helping people in any way I can when they need it. As we all know we heard different stories in Lagos about talking to strangers or trying to help out, only for you to end of being the victim.
One my way to work today I was hustling to buy BRT ticket like other commuters but the ticketer wouldn't sell to me, my offense was that I had #500 and he had no change. I waited for over 30 minutes while he attended to other people and telling me to my face that I should go look for change.
Long story short, this lady (total stranger) decided to buy me a ticket seeing that I was ignored and left hanging. I told her thank you and proceeded to join the next available bus to the office.

After watching d movie, I checked back in Imdb and d reviews had multiplied with so many commendations on d movie. It confirmed to me dat I had seen a cool movie, no regrets. The movie was underrated I guess, dat was why it didn't receive d credit it deserved. I'll send u d link soon via my dropbox, on Monday possibly. I bet u'll enjoy it.

I'm not feeling the new episodes of this Season. I seem to be gradually drifting away from this series. I guess Grey's Anatomy is only where Shona Rhimes has me. Couldn’t go pass 3 episodes on that show. On the other Hand Grey's anatomy is on Season 12? TWELVE: o and it’s still kicking every season

"LOST IN THE SUN" 2015. A very simple and effective hollywood movie. Nice plot with very good acting and good motion picture.

Just checked out the trailer and I think I’m gonna like it. One of those movies that slipped through 2015 I guess? Cuz it has only 8 reviews on IMDB and I seem to be impressed by the trailer, so I’m wondering why only 8 reviews. That's about the lowest I have seen on a movie. I doubt if it’s going to come to Naija cinemas. I guess I’ll go ahead and download it right now.

I feel bad for the company with all the negative reviews . Every blog or website is rushing to write their own bad reviews about the movie with big grammar. With a budget of over $140 million i feel really sad for them
