GAZZUZZ:Thanks Gazzuzz, the codes brought out throttle actuator system malfunction. A good electrician was able to fix it after scanning. |
TUDEXautoCARE:Thanks for the response. on start up, car idles at around 2000rpm. you press the gas pedal, no response. the rpm does not go up or move at all. Change gear to D, car moves and drive without power from the pedal. would run a scan. thanks |
Happy sunday guys, na me again o. i was driving last night when my accord 2007 (DC) stopped reponding when i press the gas pedal. i pulled over, turned off the car, removed and fix back battery head. started the car, no rev whatsoever at Park position. Car idles high at startup and when i change the gear to D, it drives but without acceleration. checked the throttle cable and its intact and triggering but no rev. What could be the cause? i am still a novice mechanically. Appreciate your response. |
He was held for 4 years and didn't know the way out of captivity. Then suddenly, he led the old lady to freedom and bade them goodbye. if its that easy to wake up and escape, why can't others escape? The story doesn't hard up. |
Greetings guys, wanna make some enquiries on this visa thing. I intend visiting the UK during my leave. Financially am ok with strong ties and will be sponsoring my trip. But I'll be tagging along with a friend who is applying for a second visit to the Uk. The issue here is, we intend staying in his cousins apartment. Do I need to book a hotel prior to the application and cancel later or state in the application that I will be staying with them? |
luvinhubby:Many thanks. I have done all that and it's shifting perfectly well. |
Some mechs are heartless I must say. Just checked my transmission oil and it was completely low. After changing the top gasket and draining my oil. He returned the car to my workplace without tranny oil. All this while I have been driving without it. Chei!!! Guys should I be scared cos I am really?. It's been days now. Would change the tranny oil asap but hope it hasn't damaged my transmission? |
GAZZUZZ:Haven't had time yet to check this, I noticed it doesn't jerk anymore even with fuel below 25% but most times it fails to accelerate when I push the gas pedal whilst in motion. it just try to pick up randomly and then respond smoothly. Before now, I never had issues with the fuel system. Car is idling at 1500rpm on cold start and is pretty thirsty aswell. Could it be that the new plugs are substandard or the throttle body needs cleansing? Never had time to supervise my mech when he was changing the top gasket and plugs. |
GAZZUZZ:Thank you so much for this. Did the change and car is in somewhat perfect condition except for another observed issue. Car jerks when trying to accelerate while driving. Notice it only occurs when fuel is 25% below but above that it drives normal. Sometimes it goes off when I try to press the pedal when in motion. could it be the oxygen censor? advice would be appreciated. thank you. |
Nigerian journalism is pure poo. if I were to be the lady, I'd sue all of them. Atleast that'll make me richer than the 12million in question. Can you imagine. |
This story doesn't shape up well. farm, upstairs and heard her husband scream from the farm. Oh well. |
GAZZUZZ:Many thanks for that. From my great research skills. I totally agree with you with the head gasket. The car smokes(white smoke) heavily in the morning and I once had an overheating issue when the fan failed to spin. it stutters sometimes when trying to kickstart in the morning. how much does it cost to replace this? I hope its a simple procedure. |
Good day house. please o I need advice before this mechs hinch my pocket. I have a 2007 accord that's currently giving me issues. I noticed the water in my radiator dries up completely every day I top it. took it to the mecho and he suggested I change the radiator, but before the change, the water in my reserve tank kept increasing and bubbling, so he took off the thermostat which I didn't agree to but the removal stopped the bubbling but with persistent lil shortage of water in the radiator and increase of water in the reserve tank. I also had difficulty in starting the car after the removal of the thermostat. So we replaced the radiator to a double cell one but this issue still persist with the thermostat totally yanked off, no sign of leakage at all. want to take it to another mecho but needs ideas of the real culprit. Advise needed please. PS: this car has overheated before but the real culprit was the fan but this time around the temp gauge doesn't show any sign of overheating. |
