Politics › Re: APC - Umahi’s Exit From PDP Confirms Igbos Have Accepted Us by flyingpig: 2:25pm On Nov 23, 2020 |
jerseyboy: No, Umahi has accepted you. You hate Igbos. Buhari still privately call them "yumiri" and so do all northerners. Umahi is simply another one of those foolish Igbo men other Nigerians laugh at because it confirms for them what they detest about Igbos, that they are transactional. Actually, more PDP leaders will decamp. You are alone. If Buhari doesn't love Igbos he wouldn't be doing Niger bridge. |

RedPanthar: [s]Your objectives for decamping I'm APC won't be achieved. This is a journey towards self destruction nothing more
When you finish deluding yourself, start planning how to remove the hatred for APC that's now a big issue in the hearts of people not just in the SE, but the entire country. [/s]

NNEWIsuper: OUK isn't against him one bit.. Either he gets the ticket or OUK.. Simple.. Easterners don't even vote, so far the north accepts either of them, no one cares that's just the truth. Once KKK states support either of them, they can easily smash 25% vote in the SE and be declared winner. 25% vote is not hard in SE, even APC claimed second position in Anambra governorship election ahead of PDP while APGA won. |

complexBoss12: Someone was voted into power for a tenure of 4years, which should run between 2019-2023. But in 2020, he left his state and he is now living in Abuja, negotiating how to win another election in 2023. you people say East does not like building bridges. Now one has travelled out to build national bridge with north and other leaders among his zone, you are complaining. Besides, he is doing fantastically well in his state thus far. |

NNEWIsuper: Nah.. They won't let him go.. They will rather give him fake hope to have his support even the fake hope they couldn't give. 2023 under PDP will be a northern affair. Apparently, all the igbo politicians interested in presidency are alreary in APC. (Okorocha, kalu, umahi). The ones still in PDP like ikpeazu and gburugburu who don't even have bridges and national appeal don't have such federal intentions that's why they're still in PDP. Any SE politician who has such intentions knows PDP is not where to harvest it. Because it won't be zoned to them. Ikpeazu and gburugburu are probably going for senate |

Bluntguy: Atiku did it in 2019. APC governors are swooping on Jonathan right now. If he defects few months to 2023 elections, he will win. Anything is possible in Nigerian politics. atiku did it in 2019? Did atiku lose APC primaries in 2019 before he decamped to PDP to contest?? Atiku never contested for APC primaries in 2019. |

If you think any southerner will clinch the PDP ticket in 2023, i wish you safe dreaming. APC will zone to south and PDP, to North. Good bye. |
Politics › Re: 2023 Presidential Election Predictions by flyingpig: 8:59pm On Nov 21, 2020 |
Bluntguy: Obaseki defected after losing primaries. That is what pragmatism is all about. A party can shift its primaries just to know what the outcome of the other party's primaries will be in other to receive cheated aspirants into its fold. In Nigerian politics everything is possible. Again I say you are the most pragmatic man on earth. we were talking about presidential elections then you suddenly brought it low to guber elections which is unique and works differently. obaseki is a sitting governor and was widely known to be in dispute with his godfather in oshiomole. He would be a huge addition to the opposition party if he were to decamp. Umahi is a state governor and not a sitting president as the case of obaseki is. Which APC strongman will let a man who was defeated in opposition primaries to come in wee hours of APC presidential primaries, contest the presidential primaries and win just like that? Na Tinubu abi who |
Politics › Re: 2023 Presidential Election Predictions by flyingpig: 8:48pm On Nov 21, 2020 |
Bluntguy: They know he is a different type of politician. It's better they let him go now than to allow him lose and defect at a most critical period when his defection would have been a lot more costlier than now. how can you defect after losing primaries? Around that same period the opposition party will be doing primaries as well and if you were to defect after losing primaries you'd not receive a heroes welcome and may not be eligible to contest primaries in opposition party. Tambuwal lost primaries to atiku and stayed Okorocha lost primaties to buhari and stayed The worst anyone who loses primaries does, is to go and contest senate or gubernatorial, but to switch party at that critical stage? I never see Again i say you're not pragmatic PDP is zoning to North and that's why they coudlnt convince umahi to stay and try his luck since it won't be his zone contesting. |

PDPGuy: Don’t forget that Gov. Wike would be interested in the PDP ticket. Umahi left because they was NO way he would have beaten Wike to the PDP ticket Wike cant contest for presidency. The best he'll eye is VP. When his friend tambuwal wins the ticket and rewards him(wike) for his steadfastness and support |
Politics › Re: 2023 Presidential Election Predictions by flyingpig: 8:34pm On Nov 21, 2020 |
Bluntguy: They would have let Umahi go if he is not the man they would want to clinch the ticket should they zone it to the south. nah, even if he is not their intended man, they can re-assure him it'll be zoned to the south and allow him to contest and lose. When it was zoned to the north in 2019, all parties from NE(atiku), and tambuwal(NW) were allowed to contest |
Politics › Re: 2023 Presidential Election Predictions by flyingpig: 8:27pm On Nov 21, 2020 |
PDPGuy: As it’s looking increasingly like both the APC and the PDP will zone their respective presidential tickets to the south, who do you think will clinch the tickets and why? PDP is zoning North and APC is clearly zoning South. If PDP wanted to zone South they won't have let Umahi go. |

complexBoss12: Politics is action not words, even most of those that went with Dave will still go back to PDP before 2023. They know that if they don't follow him, they will be jobless for the next 2years.
Besides, Ohaukwu is a very stubborn place when it comes to Ebonyi politics, that area elects their leaders based on competence. lies. Ohaukwu never has a transparent local government election. It's always about who the governor or state party wants as the chairman, such individual will be imposed on the LG. You claim ohaukwu elects based on competence then why has umuogudu oshia ngbo road remained a death trap for about ten years now? Villagers follow another community to come into that village. You can only say ohaukwu is a very strong PDP region. Very strong PDP faithfuls and is the largest local government in ebonyi, population wise. |
