nzeobi: Who made umahi governor, it was anyim and not elechi his predecessor, I don't think you know the state and its politics well. You are even confirming what i'm saying that federal might works in Ebonyi politics and that's why Umahi is aligning with Abuja. And it's beyond that. APC is leaning neutral on the choice of their 2023, flagbearer but every mouse in PDP knows it's for Atiku. So more chances for Igbos in APC than PDP. |

Juliusmalema: Let him fight his battle or visit Okezie Ikpeazu in Abia state to help him.
What are neighbors good for.. this is time to fight for our zone. If Secondus ascents, Obi can also contest in 2022 December. He has influence in PDP national. |

I need this information too cause i lost my own as well. If you go to the office they'd request for the printout to give you the original if it is already out so I'm confused.
I tried to do another one and they sent me away saying I've been captured on the database.
I promise not to joke with it next time if I'm able to be re-issued |

NNEWIsuper: Is not news that the south east people of Nigeria have been loyal to PDP since 1999 but yet the PDP finds it unworthy to present someone from the zone for presidency or even vice presidency while in power.. The only time the PDP presented someone of South East extraction for vice presidency was when they were out of power and already knew their chances of winning is slim and so they had to bring in Peter Obi to disgrace him and anambra people. The South East can't continue to be quite and rumours already have it that the PDP presidential ticket has been zoned to the north, so south east is already excluded. I think rather than wait the rest of the south east governors, senators and house of rep members should make a hay while the sun shines and not towards 2023 when everything would have been lost. They should join Umahi and fight for the east and not leave him alone in the fight it is very unpatriotic to leave Umahi to fight this alone when his demand is for it to come to our zone. Is Umahi the only person in SE? |
Politics › Re: Why Other South East Govs Should Openly Join Umahi To Fight For 2023 Ticket by flyingpig: 8:13am On Nov 15, 2020 |
It is highly important other SE PDP stalwarts come out publicly to support Umahi's stand that PDP should zone their Presidency to SE. It is easier to collect our demand if we are united.
You don't need to fear that Umahi will clinch the ticket should PDP zone to SE in 2023. Ekwueme even thought he'd clinch the ticket in Jos 1998. WHAT I MEAN IS YOU CAN SUPPORT HIM COLLECTIVELY, THEN GO AND RE-STRATEGIZE TO OUST HIM AND EMERGE AS THE PDP CANDIDATE. WHOEVER CLINCHES IT, IT IS TO OUR ADVANTAGE BUT IT MUST COME TO OUR REGION PLEASE NDIIGBO. PDP WON'T ASCEND TO THIS APPEAL IS WE ARE NOT UNITED. OUR SENATORS, OUR HOR MEMBERS, OUR THREE GOVERNORS, OUR STATE PARTY CHAIRMEN. |

ityP: Five years sef small. Any Igbo man that wants presidency must be preparing for at least 10 years. If he is heading to APC to be President, he should wait till 2039. After Yoruba rule 8 years, that is 2031, then Hausa man for another 8 years, that is 2039, then maybe them go remember am for 2039 yoruba no dey smell APC ticket in 2023. |

magicfingers009: Umahi has always been in bed with the APC since time immemorial. No doubt that he has transformed Abakaliki and not necessarily Ebonyi state, but this move I’ll say is political suicide. APC would never give him the presidential ticket.
He doesn’t have the political clout talkless of a strong cabal backing him. This is a big fat lie. So the fly over in Ezzamgbo is located in Abakaliki town? The fly over in Abaomege community is in Abakaliki? The concrete road from Ngbo High court to Umuogudu Akpu is in Abakaliki town? The new Ebonyi State University College of Medicine Campus situated in Uburu and built from scratch to finish by him, to provide rural health access to villagers in Ebonyi South, is located in Abakaliki. YOU DON'T KNOW EBONYI WELL. |

Amitez: Umahi will be so rejected by Igbos in 2023 that he will be like Chime of Enugu. People do not learn. The experiences of Chime, Akpabio and Uduaghan should have made them learn yet they would not. SE/SS is PDP, presidency or no presidency. Vacate and become useless politicalky. under APC he doesn't need your support. Millions of Arewa and KKK state will secure it for him. |

Politics › Re: Ebonyi Governor’s Defection To APC Hangs In The Balance by flyingpig: 7:45am On Nov 15, 2020 |
comrChris: say what you know. Umahi's predecessor never supported him yet he won Even with the defection, it will be a herculean task to take Ebonyi away from PDP. Watch how Ebonyi north will capitalize on this move Story Ebonyi Guber has always banked on federal might to win elections. Since 1999 all guber elections has been retained by PDP due to Abuja federal might of PDP. In 2015 might was with PDP and Elechi in Labour party, so Umahi won. In 2019 Dave understood this and had a cordial relationship with federal might at Buhari and won. 2023 the sitting governor will be APC and sitting president APC so Ebonyi will also go to APC. Best PDP can do is win a pocket state house of assembly seats. |

offiong187: So APC has promised him that presidency will be zoned to south east? If he believes that then he is a fool even if APC didn't promise him. Their body language indicates it'll be be free for all candidates in the primaries and no preferred candidate. In PDP every mouse within the party knows it's assured for Atiku. |

Quoran: This man will be shocked. He will end up getting nothing from the APC and PDP and Ebonyi will still be PDP. Ebonyi can never win PDP governorship if he defects. At best PDP will win about 6 or 7 state house of assembly positions. One or two house of Reps but that will be all. Ebonyi politics is always heavily influenced by the sitting governor. |
