Is not news that the south east people of Nigeria have been loyal to PDP since 1999 but yet the PDP finds it unworthy to present someone from the zone for presidency or even vice presidency while in power.. The only time the PDP presented someone of South East extraction for vice presidency was when they were out of power and already knew their chances of winning is slim and so they had to bring in Peter Obi to disgrace him and anambra people.
The South East can't continue to be quite and rumours already have it that the PDP presidential ticket has been zoned to the north, so south east is already excluded. I think rather than wait the rest of the south east governors, senators and house of rep members should make a hay while the sun shines and not towards 2023 when everything would have been lost. They should join Umahi and fight for the east and not leave him alone in the fight

Five years sef small. Any Igbo man that wants presidency must be preparing for at least 10 years. If he is heading to APC to be President, he should wait till 2039. After Yoruba rule 8 years, that is 2031, then Hausa man for another 8 years, that is 2039, then maybe them go remember am for 2039

Umahi has always been in bed with the APC since time immemorial. No doubt that he has transformed Abakaliki and not necessarily Ebonyi state, but this move I’ll say is political suicide.
APC would never give him the presidential ticket.

He doesn’t have the political clout talkless of a strong cabal backing him.

Umahi will be so rejected by Igbos in 2023 that he will be like Chime of Enugu. People do not learn. The experiences of Chime, Akpabio and Uduaghan should have made them learn yet they would not. SE/SS is PDP, presidency or no presidency. Vacate and become useless politicalky.
